Connection Of Sorts(Evan)

(OCC: August 9th, morning. Bonding thread between Loki and Evan)

Loki had been extremely aware of evan's avoidance of him. He practically was frozen in place at the sight of him when they last met. Loki, as such, tried to keep his distance but loki couldn't stop feeling a attachment to evan. Something was up with evan and he needed to know why. Loki was done hating on the frost giants. He had grown with this war. Thor had helped him change. Helped him realize that it didn't have to be such unneeded hatred. Sure, there was old damage but it WAS a part of him. Loki decided to make peace with the man. He had managed to successfully convince thor to help him meet up. Loki patiently waited for him as he sat reading a book. Loki then saw him and smiled softly "Before you leave, just know I won't chase you. I'm not going to hurt you. I promise. I want to be allies"

[Prince Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan had been avoiding the few Asgardians he'd heard of here. Especially the princes Loki and Thor. He did not want to end up dead. When he heard Loki's voice he w as now panicking.

"Like I'd ever trust an Asgardian. Our people have been at war for centuries. Just leave me in peace and I will do the same. I don't want to die." said Evan.

He began trying to walk away.

Loki sat peacefully, his posture calm and relaxed as to avoid evan from being more nervous than he already was. His old Asgardian pride did feel a sting as evan hissed out disgust at him. But he supposed it was only fair considering their races had been at odds for centuries as evan rightfully pointed out. He then widened his eyes as he saw evan walk away. Loki stood and raised his arm up "That's why I called you here. To make peace with you. Please. Don't walk away. I haven't come here to kill you. I don't want to kill you"

He then looked down in some shame "I called you here for a very important reason" He then got a bit closer to evan, not too close though to be aware of evan's personal space. He replied humbly "I have come to apologize. For my deeds and the deeds of my ancestors. My brother thor and I have changed over the years and we both feel this war between our races must come to a end" He then offered evan a seat. He then sighed softly "There is more I wish to atone in front of you evan. But right now I wish to make this a peace keeping between us"

He looked up to see evan thankfully stay. But he knew it wouldn't last if loki didn't make a valid argument. He left the seat open as he slowly walked to his own seat. He then magically made two glasses appear. He then poured water for both himself and evan to drink, should evan hopefully choose to stay. He then sat at his seat, blushing a bit "I know this is extremely difficult to believe. I would be as cynical and distrusting if I was in your place. And I do not deserve your forgiveness by any means but I wish to apologize for my past attacks upon jotunheim. It was a pathetic attempt to prove my worth to my adopted father. But your life is just as valid as anyone else's and it was unacceptable" He then looked up to evan and replied "You have every right to despise me. But know that my unneeded pointless hatred of frost giants has ended. I am officially offering you peace"

Evan looked at him cuiriously.

"And why should I believe that? You and Thor nearly wiped out my people from what I've heard." replied Evan.

He raised his eyebrow.

"You want peace? To atone? I don't know if I believe you. All Asgardians have wanted is to kill me. I left Asgard and came to Earth and made myself look human to blend in. But for some reason I've changed back." said Evan.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Adopted father? What do you mean? Isn't Odin your father?" asked Evan.
