Name: Eris
Age: Immortal
Where is this character from?: Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Why did you pick him/her?: For fun, and everyone loves a mischievous villainess
Picture:
Personality:
Eris is the living embodiment of chaos, she is unruly, sadistic, destructive and loves every second of it. She's fun-loving, energetic, manipulative and immensely intelligent. She's flirtatious, seductive and is fully unashamed of it, feeling it to be another way to enjoy herself. She's confident, spirited, and charming. She's always focused on having a good time, having a strange carefree attitude most of the time. She's very easily amused and always tends to focus on what she desires, coming across as selfish and self-centered. She's also quite patient and very rarely lets things bother her, coming across as somewhat laidback. However, it is best not to ever push her buttons, as she has a violent and immensely dangerous side to her. She's cruel and if threatened will go out of her way to take someone down. She's has a pretty good temper but once angry, she's immensely destructive and powerful. It's best to be on Eris' good side, as her bad side is intimidating and frightening. She's mischievous, unapologetically so, and usually uses her wit and skill to get out of trouble.
History:
Eris was created as long as the world was, created in the greek pantheon as the creator of chaos. She has always enjoyed her job, finding it to be absolutely delightful to spread chaos. She used her powers to cause trouble for the human world below and usually went to the next fun thing if humans handled her meddling. One day she decided to genuinely cause the world to crumble by stealing the Book of Peace, a source of all good and peaceful magic that protected the world from total destruction. She decided to use this book to cause a path of destruction which would lead to the good-hearted Prince Proteus to die and leave the kingdom of Syracuse without a future. This would lead the entire world into a chaotic war that could spread for decades. Eris then decided to use his childhood friend, Sinbad, as her accomplice in her scheme. She captured Sinbad, saving him from drowning, and manipulated him to get the book and bring it to her. In exchange for the book, eris would give him everything beyond his wildest dreams. She was aware he probably wouldn't do it as he valued his friend too much but she felt that planting the seed of greed would start the process faster. Much to her delight, Sinbad went to meet up with Proteus and then changed his mind on getting the book due to seeing Marina, a girl both proteus and Sinbad were into. As Sinbad left, eris framed him for stealing the book to force Proteus to take his place for the execution. Sinbad would have to get the book or proteus would die in his stead. At first Sinbad was doing exactly as she thought she would, escaping to fiji to cowardly prevent trouble. But thanks to marina he was convinced to go back as he would be justly rewarded with cash and prevent proteus from dying.
Eris was admittedly surprised Sinbad was coming but took it in stride deciding to use her goddess powers against them. She attempted to drown Sinbad and his crew with sirens but was foiled by marina. She then attempted a cold winter spell, getting a snow Roc bird to capture marina but that was also foiled. Eris, amused by this, decided to let Sinbad come to Tartarus, her home. She then confronted Sinbad, revealing her true plan to him and Eris told him that she believed him to be a heartless thief. She believed Sinbad, in the end, would not be a heroic or good person. Sinbad told her she was wrong and eris decided to make a game out of it, if Sinbad won she would give him back the book of peace. If he failed, she would keep it. She told him if she answered one question truthfully he would win. Sinbad, untrusting of her, made her give her word, as when a goddess made a promise she was bound to it for all eternity. Eris gave her word and asked the question: If Sinbad had the choice, would he return to Syracuse to be executed for a crime he did not commit? Sinbad answered yes, a answer Eris did not believe was true. She then believed Sinbad would not return, she awaited for him to fail. She then was angry and shocked as Sinbad passed her test of going to Syracuse and was forced to return the book to him. She then left to her home to plan another trick.
She then saw a war from another universe and decided to spend some time there because she was beyond bored. She felt defeated from her failure to defeat Proteus last time and felt helping this war dive into chaos would more than make up for it. She joined Facilier's forces, finding him to be of immense potential and agreed to his cause.
Allies: Facilier army
Enemies: Sinbad, Proteus, Marina, Defiant Army, Critic and ATG army
Plans: Befriend a lot of the magicians and women here, maybe have a fun friendship with Ursula.
