Not So Stealthy (Open)

(ooc: August 7th. Morning.)

Evan made his way downstairs to the kitchen. He was starving and still looked like a Frost Giant. He just had to find some fruit or something and be back upstairs. He didn't want someone to find him and make fun of him. Or worse try to kill him. As he kept walking around he didn't realize he wasn't alone. It had been so long since he'd been in this form his senses were dulled.

Suddenly he heard whistling as he had an audience. Not bothering to see who it was he panicked and ran out of the room towards the backyard. As he did he tripped on the porch and fell into a giant pool. He had the strangest sense of Deja bu. Then he gasped trying to make it to the end, but he couldn't swim. Then he saw the bear swim towards him and he began to panic and passed out.

Zach heard someone in the kitchen but was shocked at seeing the fascinating Frost Giant in front of him. He'd never seen one in person before. The movies didn't do them justice.

"Simply amazing creature." whispered Zach.

Zach frowned as the Frost Giant took off as Baloo had scared it.

"You scared him!" said Zach.

He took off running.

"Wait. Don't go." said Zach.

He then watched in horror as it fell into the pool as he rushed forward.

"We got to get him out!" said Dr. Smith.

He nodded as Baloo dove him and tried to bring the Frost Giant to shore.

Baloo came walking in whistling looking forsome food. But suddenly he was knocked over as a blue blur ran past him towards outside.

"What just happened?" asked Baloo.

As Zach rebuked him, Baloo ran after the creature as well. He wanted to make it up to whoever he scared. He followed and shook his head.

"no. I will. He might pull you under by accident. I'm strong enough to get him out." said Baloo.

HE dove in making his way to the Frost Giant. The Frost Giant passed out just as Baloo got to him as he began swimming towards the shore.

"Hang on tight, Little Blue." said Baloo.

(OCC: Hope you don't mind Richard AND Loki being here to help. I couldn't resist. Also I know frost giant skin can sometimes burn people but Richard has some immunity thanks to his powers lmao)

Richard had come very late last night. Welcomed by many of the members as he explained he had no where else to go. He was still getting to everyone around. He had gotten to know a few others before hand though so when he saw baloo helping someone, Richard's first thought was what had caused such a ruckus more than anything. Richard went outside and saw a admittedly gorgeous creature passed out by the edge of the pool. While Dr. Smith and Baloo were helping him out.

We got to get him out!

Dr. Smith's words snapped Richard immediately into action. "Hey big bear let me help you!" Richard cried as he immediately took his shirt off. He then dove into the water and moved around towards Evan's front as baloo came by. He replied to baloo "Okay I know we didn't really get to meet just yet but I'm gonna have to ask ya to trust me" He then gently grabbed evan's body, worried that the giant was going to drown. He then turned to Baloo and replied "You grab his legs and I got his upper half"

He then eventually helped Baloo get evan out of the water. He then checked his pulse and realized that evan was fine but was passed out. Richard turned to see Dr. Smith, Baloo, Loki and Dr. Insano come by to check also. Richard asked politely "What the hell caused him to fall out to the pool? Is he going to be okay?" He then turned to look worriedly at evan's form, he then whispered softly and kindly "Hey pal, I don't know who you are but it's going to be okay. We're gonna help you out"

Loki was reading his book eating a apple, contemplating the next opportunity to teach Pinnochio more magic lessons when he heard noise outside. Loki went out purely for curiosity sake and saw the new frost giant. Loki had briefly saw the giant before the frost giant panickedly ran away from him. Loki was aware of why and felt guilty. Thanks to bonding with thor, Loki had become more and more accepting of his past. And Loki had realized that his anger from his adoption had nothing to do with the frost giants. He felt it was best to make peace with the giants. And for the brief moments he saw evan, he felt a strange kinship. A kinship that was almost as familiar to him as thor was. He didn't know why but he did feel like making friends with evan would definitely help find the answer.

He saw evan passed out and saw both Richard and Baloo help him. Loki rushed as he saw the man somewhat unconscious. Loki checked his vitals and replied "He should be fine. But he needs some air. I think it's best we don't overwhelm him when he awakens" He had a bad feeling his presence would do harm but he wanted evan to know he was a friend, not a enemy. Loki used some magic to awaken evan calmly and without being afraid. He turned to Insano and replied annoyedly "Perhaps we should study his species another time. As in when he is more alert and can give you permission too doctor"

Dr. Insano heard noise himself and curiosity got the better of him also. He rushed out and replied to Dr. Smith "Well call me Nichola Tesla. Never a dull moment huh Zach?" He then chuckled before widening his eyes as he saw a frost giant passed out and baloo, as well as Richard, come help him. He commented "Well it seems Mr. Hughes has definitely made himself a ally with us" He recalled Richard from last night and got to know him briefly. He then rushed and replied "Loki's right. His heart rate is a bit fast. It's a indicator his passing out was from stress" He then watched in fascination at the sight of Evan "Truly a brilliant specimen our new friend is. I've never seen anything like this. Some of his skin I can really take a gander to look at" He then blushed at loki's reprimanding replying sheepishly "I'm a scientist. I can't help wanting to study something I don't know sometimes. Sorry"

Baloo was surprised to see the human help him but thankfully the blue creature wasn't struggling too much while unconsciouus. But he felt bad just thinking that as they got him to shore.

"Thanks. I hope he' s okay." said Baloo.

He pushed on his chest to make sure he hadn't swallowed any water and only a little came out of his mouth.

"That's good. I'm glad he didn't drown. I didn't mean to scare him. I guess he is scared of us or at least me." said Baloo

Baloo shook his head amused as the creature was practically hugging Richard for warmth.

"He seems happier in his sleep." said Baloo.

When Zach suggested towels Baloo shook his head.

"I don't need one." said Baloo.

He shook his fur getting himself drier but dousing others with water. He saw Zach and grinned sheepishly.

"Sorry." said Baloo.

When he heard Evan talking his sleep Baloo clenched his fists in anger.

"What kind of a father treats his cub like that?" asked Baloo.

Zach shook his head.

"It's not just you Baloo. I can relate. I think it may be more personal. The fact he came down when he thought he'd be alone means he is scared of us or our reactions. He must have had some bad experiences to be so scared. " said Zach.

He chucked seeing the others arrive and Insano's curiosity.

"I'm a bit curious myself but he is a living creature. It wouldn't be right to study him without his permission. Although we may want to check his vitals. He's not human and he looks blue. Is he a creature of ice and cold? I know some of them need to be in colder temperatures like Mr. Freeze from the Batman movies and tv shows has that suit so he can go out in the regular world." said Zach.

Zach saw Evan start to wake up and chuckled.

"Looks like he's seeking a little warmth after all. Does anyone have some towels to dry off our friends?" asked Zach.

He then groaned as Baloo shook his fur dousing him with water.

"Make that towels for all of us." said Zach.

Evan remained passed out as he was brought to shore. But once out of the water he began to wake up and little and began shivering. And in his desire to get warm he cuddled up to the closest thing near to him. Or in this case person. As he wrapped Richard into a hug as if he was a pillow trying to keep warm. But his smile fell as he had slipped into a nightmare.

"Please, can I take a break. I'm so tired and hungry. Papa please." said Evan.

He then winced as if being hit.
