Fine Line Between Love And Hate (Kuzco)

[Johnny Cage]

(August 18th. Evening.)

Johnny paced the woods carrying a small flask in his hand. He'd only been here a few days and that Kuzco could get very infuriating. He wanted to shut up that mouth of his for good. With his mouth. Johnny paused blushing at the thought wondering if he'd drunk too much already. But he knew he couldn't deny the annoying emperor was attractive. Maybe next time he met him he'd silence with a kiss. Yeah. He can't be annoying if he couldn't talk. In his drunken state that seemed like the best course of action.

Kuzco didn't understand why it was so fun annoying johnny, but it was. Maybe it was because johnny irritated him right back and that was Kuzco's way of dealing with conflict, by being a smart alec whenever possible. But Kuzco's inner conscious would sometimes focus on how adorable johnny was when he was angry, his eyes would pop out showing how beautiful they were. His face would redden up to show how spirted he was, attracting Kuzco far more than he should've been. Kuzco was aware of his sexuality, but he was never open about it due to his kingdom having traditions. In fact, the only people who knew he was gay was pacha, Chicha and a few trusted friends such as kronk. Not that Kuzco was ashamed, but his emperor-dom sort of depended on him being quiet.

Now that he wasn't exactly in his kingdom anymore, Kuzco had no reason not to open himself to the idea of having a boyfriend. He wanted one. Badly. But he didn't know how to get one. Which was why he was being as annoying as he was. He was hiding his feelings. If only johnny could push the issue. But until then, Kuzco felt it best to just amuse himself until he could properly get his feelings out. He noticed johnny, the target of his attraction, getting drunk. Ooooh, this was a delightful way to see how badly his buttons could be pushed. Kuzco, amused smile and all, slowly made his way to johnny. He then mockingly replied "Hey Cage? Didn't your mommy ever tell you, you shouldn't be drinking before bedtime?"

Kuzco noticed johnny be quiet, which made Kuzco want to try a bit harder. So he continued to mock "My goodness gracious. Half empty already. Were you a whale in another life? You're swallowing that liquor like it's candy" He then looked at the bottle and got a very naughty idea. He then playfully replied "Gimme. I want some" He was of legal age in his country, even though in America he wasn't, but he didn't care. He wasn't going to drink it. He just wanted to get johnny's goat. He snatched the bottle and swung it back and forth playfully "What are you gonna do now cage?" He pretended to sing "Nahnahnahnahnah. I got your juice. What are you gonna dooooo?"

Johnny paused seeing Kuzco come out.

"Don't you have someone else to annoy?" asked Johnny.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Drinking actually helps me sleep. I drink enough so I pass out. No nightmares." said Johnny.

He paused realizing Kuzco had stolen his flask.

"Hey! Give that back!" said Johnny.

He rushed forward trying to grab it but couldn't. Instead, he wrapped Kuzco in a hug and then kissed him on the lips. Using it as a distraction to get his flask back as he pulled back taking a swig.

"Looks like I found a way to keep you quiet after all. Well there's also a gag I suppose but that was more fun." said Johnny, with a smirk.

"I could annoy Film Brain, but you're way more fun" Kuzco replied with a amused smirk. He was about to taunt more when his amusement turned into sympathy and interest as Johnny made note of nightmares. Kuzco was somewhat distracted and a bit shocked by that confession. Kuzco replied curiously "Nightmares?" He then felt a sense of sympathy. Kuzco himself handled a lot of nightmares, especially when he turned into a llama. Kuzco replied, somewhat sympathetically "Well I don't think drinking will help. I think talking about that will help" He then blushed realizing the implication and replied "I'm not your mom obviously but I just don't think you should suffer that alone. Drunk or not"

He then realized johnny wanted the flask back and the amusement started to return. In fact it started to return ten fold knowing johnny was right into his trap. Kuzco teasingly replied "What if I don't wanna give it back? You might have to make me" Just as he said that he was pulled into a hug, being kissed instantly. The kiss attracted him, and shocked him, enough to ignore the flask and just embrace the feeling. He enjoyed it so much then felt the feeling go away, he opened his eyes to see johnny drink again and tease him. It took a moment for Kuzco to think of a comeback. Then he realized this back and forth nonsense was just going to not give Kuzco what he wanted. He realized johnny may have been drunk but maybe this was the right moment to push. Maybe if Kuzco took this chance, johnny would remember it sober.

Kuzco replied back, smirking "You know what's more fun? Doing it again" He then went over, grabbing johnny and pulling him in for a more passionate kiss. He made the kiss last a long while before pulling back and chuckling amusedly "I knew you had a thing for me. Why wouldn't you? I'm delightful" He then smiled, more flirtatious and less obnoxious "But you're delightful in your own way"

Johnny chuckled.

"I doubt anything could annoy Film Brain. He seems too nice. Then again some of the princesses here are nicer than him." replied Johnny.

He shook his head.

"Talking doesn't help. Not for me." said Johnny.

He grinned seeing he'd gotten his flask back. And surprised when Kuzco returned the kiss and pulled him closer.

"You're a lot less annoying when you're not speaking. And you are attractive I suppose.." mentioned Johnny.

He smiled at him calling him delightful.

"No one's called me delightful before." replied Johnny.[/div
