Quote: "All I want is to end my life the way it really started - fighting side by side with you."
Name: Ares
Age: unknown
Where is this character from? Young Hercules, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess.
Why did you pick him/her?: a needed villain and a fun character.
Picture:
Personality: Cunning, ruthless, powerful. He cares mostly for himself but he does have a soft spot for Xena and Strife. When Strife died he lost it and tried to kill Callisto. Xena avenged him making him more in debt to Xena.
History:
Ares has been around for centuries. He resented his half siblings especially Hercules and tormented him often. Like Hera, Discord, Strife, Deimos and other gods they caused problems for mortals and Hercules alike. Sometimes he'd frame Hercules for something to get people to doubt him as a hero, to get him blamed for crimes or in trouble with Zeus. But in the end Hercules always found a way out of any trouble.
He found a champion of his own in Xena's and a lover. He fell in love with her and it was mutual for awhile. Until she met Hercules who sent her on the path of redemption. And despite his repeated attempts she stayed good and he remained a reluctant ally. Helping her if he felt like it but also helping her enemies. He was the god of war after all. When he woke up in another world he found himself in Ask That Guy's Army with his uncle Hades from another universe. He learned he had relatives and friends in Critic's army as well. He joined and was surprised when another Hercules showed up enslaved to Hades. He'd have fun torturing his half brother even if it wasn't the one he wanted.
Allies: Greek Gods of his world; Strife (nephew); Hades (uncle); Karai; Nemo (cousin); Ask That Guy's Army.
Enemies: Xena; Hercules; Iolas; Gabrielle; Joxer; Eve/Livia/Callisto; Virgil;
Plans: be courted by Proteus; fight his half brother Perseus; torment Hercules since his Hercules isn't in his army.
