Repeated History(Simba)

[Kiara]

(OCC: August 17th, morning. Father/daughter bonding with kiara and simba. Why not?)

Kiara was a bit bummed out. She escaped with her life thanks to scar's twisted generosity and she failed to help her parents. She was the eldest next to her brother Kion, and it felt like such a disappointing thing to fail her family. She was supposed to be a ruler herself one day. More than that, they took care of her and treated her with love. And what did she do? Just run away. Sure, maybe scar told her to do it but it just couldn't get past her mind. She should've been able to help her parents, that was never meant to happen. Maybe if she stayed home like her mother said that wouldn't of happened. They were in their new home now but it just didn't sit right with her at all.

As she took out her anger on some bushes, pushing on them in frustration a butterfly came out. Kiara sneered, deciding to take it out on the butterfly "I may be small for scar but I'm bigger than you. I can take you on" She then chased the butterfly and kept going. She then saw it on a rock and tried to catch it but it went off. In her haste to catch it and get her mind of things, she snarled at the butterfly "I'll get you yet. I'll show scar that I AM a good fighter, I'll show him and make him pay for hurting my daddy" She then charged at it, only for the butterfly to escape. Kiara fell harshly on the ground, getting somewhat dirty in the process.

When she shook off she saw a familiar face. She looked up to see the very person she wanted to be proud of her. She blushed, grinning sheepishly, pretending nothing happened. Or that she totally wasn't upset and sad at all. She replied fake cheerfully "Oh! Hi daddy! I didn't see you there!"

[Simba]

Simba grinned as he heard Kiara's voice as he got closer. He had been reunited with Nala when she was captured and felt guilty Kiara had lost her mother after finally getting one of them. Thankfully they managed to escape with some of the others and formed this army with people leaving all the other armies as well.

"Hello Kiara. And I can see that." said Simba.

He grinned as he walked up to her and helped her on her feet.

"Mind if I join you?" asked Simba.

Kiara was somewhat relieved Simba bought her cheerfulness. But some part of her felt like her father could also tell but wasn't saying anything. Maybe he was just trying to save her some dignity. In that case, kiara was relieved. Kiara allowed simba to help her up. She then smiled genuinely as her father asked to join her "Sure daddy I can use some company" She then turned to see the butterfly land on a rock. She explained why she was a tad dirty "I was just trying to pounce. I'm supposed to be a hunter someday right? So I thought maybe I'd catch that!" She pointed to the butterfly. She then blushed "Obviously that didn't go as well as I thought it would"

She then looked down shrugging "Guess we can't all be like you. We can't all be as talented as you are" She sighed a bit "I'll try harder though daddy I promise"

[Simba]

Simba grinned at her words.

"Great." replied Simba.

He paused at her words and chuckled.

"Well, everything takes practice. I hated my roar as a kid. It was so soft and didn't scare anyone. I got better at it when I got older." said Simba.

He raised an eyebrow.

"I wasn't born talented. I had to work at it. When I was your age I wanted to just always have fun with Nala. We snuck off to the Elephant Graveyard one time and nearly got killed by some of Scar's hyenas. Zazu distracted them for a while and came back with Father. If it wasn't for them we might not be here. And neither would you and Kion." mentioned Simba.
