Name: Lampy
Age: N/A
Where is this character from?: Brave Little Toaster Films
Why did you pick him/her?: For Kirby mostly, give him a break
Picture:
Personality:
Lampy can be impatient, impulsive, rude, skepitical and has low tolerance for both nonsense and bossiness. He also, however, has a caring compassionate heart. He's thoughtful, and can be quite noble if given the opportunity. Because of his lack of tact and childish behavior, he can come across as dimwitted and oblivious. Despite this he does have wisdom and cunning, underneath all his rather aloof attitude. He's friendly, loyal and exceptionally dedicated to those he is friends with. He's also quite outgoing, energetic and adventurous, not afraid to explore his horizons.
History:
Lampy, along with his friends Kirby, blanky, toaster and radio, were appliances used by a young boy who they all called the master. One day the master along with his parents left their cabin and never returned, which caused all of them to keep the cabin to themselves for quite sometime. Years passed and he, along with Kirby and radio, began to get bitter due to feeling abandoned whereas blanky was hopeful as was Toaster. Lampy, feeling resentful, made fun of blanky as did Kirby who told blanky to grow up. This resulted in some arguments, which lead to the picture being broken, which made them all realize they still cared for their master and they even admitted to wishing for the days to be used by him. The air conditioner mocked them for their nostalgia, which caused toaster to boldly claim air conditioner was acting this way due to never being played with. This resulted in air conditioner snapping, breaking himself in a rage. This event caused toaster to convince them all to find the master.
The next day they went off to a adventure, getting into tons of hinjinks along the way. Many of them either causing tension or causing false hope. Lampy developed a stronger bond than he did originally with blanky, protecting him like a big brother. He even risked his own life to protect blanky and the others through a massive storm, The storm separated them from blanky but they reunited with him again, only for lampy, Kirby, radio and blanky to get lost and found by Elmo St. Peters, a shady salesman. Lampy also developed a best friendship with radio, which caused him to be concerned for radio's safety when radio was about to have his parts taken. Determined, he made a plan to rescue radio which successfully passed. Lampy reunited with toaster and the appliances continued their way. While they find themselves in the master's apartment, they get bullied by his newer appliances. Unbeknownst to them, the master was going to find them because he never forgot them and wanted them for his college dorm. Lampy, along with the other appliances, then found themselves in danger in the dump. They did reunite with the master but he nearly got killed by the dump. Toaster boldly sacrificed himself which caused the master to take lampy, radio, blanky and Kirby while also repairing toaster. All the appliances then went with him to college, resuming their activity with their now adult master.
One day though radio disappeared, not long after so did lampy himself. Overwhelmed by the new environment, worried of being abandoned and forgotten by his master again, lampy felt himself isolated. He eventually came to terms with this new lifestyle and decides now to stick by Kirby since the vaccum has stuck by him and radio.
