Why did you pick him/her?: For mickey, Minnie, goofy, Donald and daisy to bond with. Basically be a team mascot.

Personality:
Pluto is a charming, loyal, brave, cunning and determined dog. He's exceptionally dedicated to those he cares for, being a exceptionally skilled and ambitious pet because of it. However, he tends to get immensely excited and strives for perfection sometimes which can cause him to go overboard in the pursuit of making others happy. He also can get quite needy and fearful of rejection, hence it's easy for him to get jealous when he feels he is ignored or neglected. He tends to be a bit selfish and demanding, but he usually is well-meaning and noble in intent. He's incredibly sweet, kind and thoughtful, willing to go above and beyond for his friends and family. Due to his child-like nature, he can come across as dimwitted but he's actually quite intelligent and quick-witted. He is also immensely observant, unfortunately his observance can get ignored due to his impulsive side. He has a lack of impulse control, focused with his emotions, but he tries to do better with that.
History:
Pluto was born into the streets, with three brothers and two sisters, he was one of the youngest in his litter. His mother and siblings, along with pluto himself, was picked up by a shelter. He and his family all got adopted by different families. Pluto's family however grew immensely bored with him quickly and abandoned him at only four months old. Cold, alone and in the streets again, pluto was afraid. Luckily a young male mouse, took pity on him and adopted him with his guardian's permission. This mouse, who pluto learned was named Mickey, named him pluto due to being so small at the time. He became Mickey's right hand man, being there for him when even goofy and Donald were not. Pluto became a assistant dog when mickey was a royal custodian and helped mickey with whatever stress he was in. He then became a guard dog for when mickey, Donald and goofy became musketeers. But he could only do so much then, and was confided to keep watch in the castle during certain incidents.
Pluto took the job seriously and was beside mickey when the second raid against him, Donald and goofy came to affect. He observed that both goofy and Donald were captured and called for mickey's aid. Mickey then found Donald who then told them of pete's plan to kidnap Minnie and take over france. Pluto loyally stuck by mickey when even Donald was too afraid, growling at the sight of pete. Pluto attempted to stop pete from taking a knocked out mickey but pete chained him up to the backyard, where both goofy and Donald found him as he had a excellent sense of smell and could easily find mickey. Pluto helped find mickey and also helped find Minnie during the opera. His efforts, along with his sense of smell, was rewarded by him being a official guard dog. Mickey and Minnie began a relationship, which became public at first but then at mickey's insistence both mickey and Minnie continued their relationship but in secret. Pluto stayed beside mickey throughout the adventures he had and kept Minnie guarded when mickey needed him too. He had some misadventures of his own but overall stayed beside mickey and Minnie.
One day though mickey disappeared, as did Minnie, which left pluto feeling completely alone again. He searched as did the royal guards but pluto then awoke to find himself in Chicago, where his master and princess were. He also learned that he could finally speak. Pluto intends to use this new gift to further help mickey and keep an eye on him, determined as always to be there for his master.
