Why did you pick him/her?: For tod and mostly for my own personal fun.

Personality:
Vixey is tender, kind, thoughtful and caring. She's quite friendly and sweet to others. While she can be naïve sometimes, there is no question that she's immensely independent, intelligent and quick-witted. She's also quite adventurous, spirited and confident, which makes her more than able to stand up for herself if need be. She's also quite empathetic, genuinely being understanding to any problem or misunderstanding. Despite her low tolerance for rude and mean behavior, she does forgive and let things go quite well due to being immensely patient. While she is adventurous and brave, she is by no means brash or impulsive, and even goes out of her way to avoid danger. She's quite cautious which can cause her to get easily overwhelmed when she has no plan. Overall vixey is a pretty peaceful and pleasant young fox.
History:
Vixey was born the youngest out of eight kits, her mother and father tending to her and her siblings quite well. She was very properly taught the ways of the wild by both her parents and older siblings, so vixey very quickly learned to take care of herself in the wild. Due to hunting seasons, vixey learned very quickly on to avoid most humans as it was the law of nature. Eventually, vixey left her birth home to explore much more of the forest and maybe have a family of her own. With a heartfelt goodbye, she left her family and went into another, bigger forest. Where she met and befriended a owl by the name of Big Mama. While vixey befriended the new forest creatures quickly, she was admittedly lonely and wished for a mate of her own someday.
One day, she met up with big mama who asked for her help for a friend of hers. Vixey happily agreed and saw tod, sad and alone due to having a rough first night in the forest. Vixey took pity on him and helped big mama to cheer him up. She then befriended tod quite quickly and in a effort to impress her, tod chased down a fish only to foolishly grab a stick. Unaware of his upbringing, she thought he was joking and laughed alongside the other creatures. Unaware of his embarrassment, she tried to assure him it wasn't a big deal, only to be shocked when tod insulted her by calling her empty headed. Angry by the sudden disrespectfulness, vixey snapped at him telling him he needed to grow up. She then went to sulk away by a nearby forest patch, but thanks to big mama singing to both of them, tod and vixey very quickly made up. Vixey even began to romance tod and vise versa. Tod then confessed he had no idea about the forest and explained he was a former housepet. Vixey, now aware of why he was so upset, offered to teach him her ways to which he agreed to. They then immediately started romancing, with vixey offering tod to stay in her den as her mate. She was delighted when he happily agreed, and things started immediately looking up for them. Until a couple days later when Amos Slade and his dog Copper began to hunt them down, to capture and definitely kill them.
Amos slade and copper chased them to their den, trapping them with fire on one end and a gun in the other. Frightened, vixey started to worry about what to do, thankfully tod convinced her to escape through the burning bush. The two ran off to the mountains but tod went back to help copper, much to vixey's confusion at the time. Vixey then eventually found tod by a nearby river brink, injured but alive. Worried, vixey helped nurse him back to health where tod explained that he and copper were, and still are, friends. Vixey understood the story and even supported tod exploring to check up on copper every once in a while.
One day though, tod disappeared for real. Vixey searched high and low, even more frightened when big mama had no idea where he was. She then found herself in facilier's army camp, where her husband and copper were. Despite her fear of copper, she stayed beside tod and can only hope they'll be safe here.
