Just A Little Break (Open)

[PJ Pete]

(ooc: July 30th. Morning.)

PJ yawned as he got up from the couch after a quick nap. He'd only been here a couple days and already been put to work. He'd already given Gantu his breakfast earlier so there wasn't much else he could do. He knew Gantu was probably one of the best options for a master here so he didn't want to make him angry. Plus he kind of reminded him of his dad in some ways so it felt familiar. He was currently dressed in a blue T-shirt, and a pair of blue pants. And the collar around his neck preventing him from fleeing to one of the other armies. He was barefoot as he didn't feel the need to walk around the house with shoes on. He decided he'd get something to drink and headed to the kitchen.

PJ smiled seeing the younger teen arrive.

"Hi Jake. I'm Peter but most people just call me PJ." said PJ.

He smiled as Lin joined them.

"Hi Lin." said Lin.

Jake yawned as he made way to the kitchen. He hadn't gotten much sleep the night before. He was dressed in a red shirt, blue jeans, and his mettalic collar around his neck. He spotted PJ realizing he must be new and smiled.

"Hi. I'm Jake." said Jake.

He smiled as Lin joined them.

Lin yawned as she walked in spotting the group. She was wearing her regular pink kimono but the same mettalic collar was around her neck. She overheard both of them introduce themselves and she smiled.

"Well hello. Nice to meet people who aren't threatening to kill me with a glare. I'm Lin." said Lin.

Jason stumbled in tired. Thankfully Jafar hadn't tasked him with anything since he became his familiar. So he was spending most of his time with Moriarty but he was hungry. He spotted a group in the kitchen and grinned realizing they were making introductions. Unlike the others he had red and black colored collar around his neck to show everyone he belonged to Jafar. It had been a recent thing to his annoyance but he'd come to accept it.

"I'm Jason. Welcome." said Jason.

Jason paused seeing Shaggy arrive.

"Shaggy! You were nearly killed last night. Shouldn't you be resting?" said Shaggy.

Shaggy stumbled into the room. He was wearing a red tanktop, and red shorts being barefoot. He was feeling a lit bettere from last night. He knew some would tell him to stay in bed but he was hungry. And food always made him feel better before. He spotted the group and grinned.

"Hi. I'm Shaggy." said Shaggy.

Shaggy shrugged.

"Probably. But I was hungry. And I kinda snuck by my bodyguard." said Shaggy.

When Pete arrived and hugged him Shaggy returned it. He hide the wince at his injuries with a smile.

"No Pete. They were after me anyway. But I'm just glad I got you to safety. If they had taken or hurt you that would have been awful. And then I'd have your parents, Olive, Gi, Kwame, John, Jerry and Elliot mad at me." said Shaggy.

Shaggy chuckled.

"That doesn't mean I want to go up against your friends and family. Especially not Mala chite, Facilier and Elliot." said Shaggy.

Shaggy couldn't argue with that logic and grinned.

"I guess that would make me family." said Shaggy.

Pete heard voices as he walked out spotting Shaggy and hugged him.

"You're okay. They told me to let you rest last night but you saved my life. You could have died because of me." said Pete.

He paused wiping away fresh tears as Shaggy comoforted him. He giggled when Shaggy said everyone would be mad at him.

"But you're big and strong werewolf!" said Pete.

Pete smiled.

"Well you're part of that family. You're my dad's familar so that makes you family." said Pete.

[Monica/Beret Girl]

(OCC: Hope you don't mind sweet being here. Basically he was introduced to shaggy off screen so shaggy should know him a little)

Monica was somewhat unnerved by her new surroundings, but gantu took her in as a new slave quite literally last night. Like PJ, she had a collar with the logo saying "Property of Gantu". And even though she was uncomfortable with no longer being free, she was glad to be alive and not hurt. She hadn't seen PJ yet as he was working that night and she had arrived to this new place. She was relieved she had some friends here but was hoping to see them soon. She smiled to tank and replied "Well now tank, your vibes are certainly a welcome here" She then widened her eyes as she finally saw her boyfriend. In absolute relief, and somewhat ignoring the others, she gave him a hug "PJ! You have no idea how much I missed you!" She hugged him tightly and replied in a somewhat nervous tone "You're not hurt or anything have you? This place is a warzone, literally"

Eric awoke to get something to eat. He arrived recently himself, forced to obey Ursula as her main servant. He looked down to his purple collar with a disgusted grimace. The servitude bothered him to his core, but at least he could sleep at night knowing his daughter was safe and his wife would be relatively unharmed. He saw the other people and found it best to socialize. He went over to the others with a polite grin "Hey everyone. Good morning" He then saw jake somewhat tired and he replied "Hey there, name's eric. You doing alright?" He then noticed Jason and nodded politely to him. Eric then went to make something to eat and made note to possibly make a couple others some too.

Tank had been busy working as a soldier to cover his lies of not being friends with some of the heroes. Word had came around about max and tank impulsively asked about him, which now caused some suspicion. He made up for it by saying they were classmates which left him off the hook. But he felt guilty for having to lie. He heard some rumors of monica and PJ being here and felt he should investigate if that was true. He turned to notice monica first "Beret chick! I'm happy to see ya" He then smiled as she said she enjoyed seeing him, he replied with a relieved laugh "Good to see ya" He then allowed monica to address PJ before going over to PJ himself. He turned to PJ and replied "PJ, big man! Am I happy to see ya sweetheart!"

He then noticed Jake and was a bit surprised at how adorable the boy looked. He blushed a little at his thoughts, wondering why the heck did he find jake adorable. Still he felt it rude to not say hello. Tank with a soft smile replied to jake "Heya pal, haven't seen you around. The name's Tank"

Joshua grabbed a towel to wipe the sweat off his forehead as he came to get something to eat. He just finished his morning workout and felt it was best to stay energized. He had arrived late last night. In the chaos of shaggy nearly being captured by another army, sweet went into straight emergency mode and offered his services alongside Watson to help rescue Shaggy. For his servitude, sweet was rewarded with his own room near the medical bay. Now he was here and felt it best to introduce himself to everyone.

As he went to get a apple, he noticed shaggy out of bed and immediately went over to him "Hey, my man! You shouldn't be standing like that just yet. You still gotta save your energy, I don't know much about werewolves but I do know about injuries and if you stand around too much it'll bite you in the butt" He then saw shaggy about to speak but Sweet interrupted him "Now I know you wanted to get something to eat, I can hear your stomach from here, so I'll let it slide. But next time make sure you have breakfast in bed. I love breakfast in bed" He then turned to see a young boy. With a big smile, Joshua replied "Sorry about that little man, name's sweet. Joshua sweet. Doctor. I met one of your daddies not too long ago and I'll be helping out your army for the time being"

He then waved to jake, pj, monica and tank, unconcerned about their appearances. When you knew Atlanteans and saw some sand coyotes, you tended to not worry about weird stuff. Sweet replied "You kids make sure you eat too. Fruits especially. Good for the soul and the body" He then stopped talking as he noticed Lin. For once in his life he was absolutely speechless. He never saw such a pretty woman before. He politely replied to pete "Excuse me kid I'll be right with you" He then turned to shaggy "I'm serious man, be careful with your injuries. I'll check on you in a bit too ok?" He then turned to lin with a nice smile replying "Good morning to you ma'am, who might you be?"

John felt a bit spooked when pete was nearly captured, and was a bit worried when shaggy got injured. This made john realize this was a actual war and more than just a game peter made up. John eventually managed to find both pete and shaggy in question and went over to them. John, allowing his emotions to get the better of him, gave pete a tender hug. John knew pete was fine but his anxiety was getting the better of him. He replied to pete "I didn't get the chance to see you last night and I'm so sorry. But I am so glad you weren't hurt"

He then turned to shaggy and gave him a tender, cautious hug. He replied to shaggy "I really want to thank you for protecting pete. It means a lot more to me than you think it does" He then replied insistently "Shaggy, I want you to know that you are a valued friend of ours and I'm relieved you're alright too" He then got slightly nervous as he checked shaggy "At least I think you're alright right? You're not too hurt I hope? It genuinely would be dreadful if you are!"

Like john, Jerry had been absolutely spooked about pete's possible capture. But jerry had refused to leave pete's side since it. Jerry slept beside pete, as he was pete's pet next to Elliot and was the only one able to fit in his room. He was a little freaked out when he didn't see pete in the bed. He raced to find him but sighed in absolute relief as pete was seen talking to john and shaggy. He then climbed up pete's shoulder, giving him a good morning hug and signing Morning pete. Glad to see you're talking to the hero of last night He then signed enthusiastically to shaggy I'm serious shaggy you're a hero. A real hero! He then clapped a little for shaggy. He then looked to see shaggy injured. Jerry then gave a sneer, angry someone did that to shaggy. Man if I wasn't so small I'd rip apart the creep who did this to you shaggy. They'll get their just desserts. Mark my words

He then went down as john proceeded to hug pete. Liking both john and pete together, jerry treated his support like a sibling would. Happy but more than happy to tease. He began doing smoochie noises, then started dancing as if he was at a wedding with humming the 'here comes the bride' theme.
