(OCC: July 21st, afternoon. Bonding thread between roman, bruce and cubby. Figured I'd give the adoption thing for them a head start)
Cubby had gotten used to the home here and found himself like it. But as he enjoyed it, he discovered from some adults that if he didn't have a family soon he would even be taken away from the only place that felt like home since neverland. Cubby nervously hid away in his room after that. But was coerced out of his room many times thanks to Roman and Bruce wayne. These two adults were the nicest to him. And they both were good to him in their own way. Roman was fun but bruce was comforting, roman was as brave as he was but bruce genuinely guided him to interesting places. Both were good adults. But teddy felt both were too busy to be bothered by him. So he never asked them to be his parents. Cubby sat in his room but then heard both bruce and roman's voices outside his door. Cubby held his ear up to the door but then the door opened, revealing him accidentally.
Cubby, nervous, replied in a panic "I didn't hear anything! I wasn't spying! I didn't hear you guys talk about me I swear!"

Roman liked cubby, that was the first thing and he was pleased when bruce said he liked cubby too. The two adults agreed to take cubby in as their adopted son thanks to a meeting about some of the kids being adopted. He and bruce both raised their hands when cubby's name was called and were given introductions to proceed with cubby's permission. He turned to bruce and nervously replied "Okay. So maybe you should be the icebreaker and I be the one to spring it on cubby that we're adopting him?" He then panicked and replied "No no wait, how about you do it and I'll be the icebreaker" He then panicked again and hesitated "Oh bruce what if he doesn't want us. You know how I am with rejection. I just want him to be safe!" He then nodded as bruce talked then he got a little spooked as cubby accidentally was revealed thanks to a unlocked door. He then smiled a bit as cubby denied hearing anything. He hoped bruce was better at the news than he was.
