How Do We Get Back? (Open)

[Kovu]

(ooc: July 25th. Morning. A fun adventure for the kids. Figured last a day or two and get them back home.)

Kovu had been busy playing tag with some of the other kids. And they'd wandered into the lab by accident. The floor was a bit more slippery than he was used to as he ran he hit a device that fell and shattered. But right before it did it struck a beam teleporting Kovu and anyone else around him away.

Kovu blinked opening his eyes seeing he was on an island.

"What just happened?" asked Kovu, nervously.

Rolly looked around confused.

"I don't know. We were in that lab and suddenly we're here." said Rolly.

He paused sniffing around.

"I wonder if there's food here." said Rolly.

Tender Heart looked around.

"I think we must have been teleported here. But it looked like that thing broke. So people may not even know we were sent here. We may need to find our own way back." said Tender Heart.

Flower looked around nervously.

"Rolly's right about food. But we should look for water and some shade too. Maybe a cave or something." said Flower.

Freckles nodded.

"I guess we should start exploring. Looking for food, water and shelter. And perhaps a way home." said Freckles.

Littlefoot groaned.

"I missed going on adventures but being stranded wasn't what I had in mind." said Littlefoot.

Kiki and Chihiro were speechless until others began talking about what to do.

"You guys are right. We'll need to be prepared." said Chihiro.

Kiki frowned realizing she'd left her broom at home.

"Guess I can't fly to get anything. We'll have to look for everything the old fashioned way." said Kiki.

[Kiara]

(OCC: I seriously hope you don't mind the tiny bit of drama cera and kiara are in. Feel free to nip it in the bud, I just felt cera would react to being scared by acting angry. Cera and kiara don't know where simba is in this thread so that's why cera is making assumptions that he's not here. Maybe also get littlefoot to calm cera down, he's the only one who'd be able to I think)

Bambi, Lilo and Klunk were at a loss. Klunk had tried to make friends as was this was the first time in a while he had been with a few animals his age. Lilo and bambi were a bit surprised at the accident and even more so from the sudden teleportation. Klunk went over to kovu and replied kindly "I don't know. I think we might've been transported somewhere" He then got near kovu as cera started to get angry. Then he gasped as cera deliberately pushed kiara away. He checked on her "Kiara are you okay?"

Bambi was nervous and frightened. He was glad thumper told him things would be fine, this motivated him to be braver. He then nodded and replied "Maybe we should split into certain teams, like one can find a place to rest while the other team can look for firewood or something?" He was unsure what to do though when cera and kiara began to fight. When cera began to charge at kiara again after pushing her, bambi guarded her "Cera, stop that! That's not going to solve this!"

Lilo was sort of grateful she managed to bring her doll with her, hugging said doll tightly as she realized she was lost. Along with the rest of the kids. Lilo then listened to bambi's idea but then realized chirhiro was insightful about the situation. They needed to be prepared. Lilo was somewhat good at doing that. She replied "I can find a shelter easily. I've looked up certain islands and can find likely places to get shade" Lilo then noticed cera and kiara argue then cera push kiara. Lilo went over and replied "Hey! Hey! Stop!"

Kiara was beside kovu in the accident and realized cera was getting impatient and started to do the blame game. Kiara sneered as cera started to accuse kovu. Wanting to defend his honor, she replied "It was a accident! Don't yell at him! Besides, what's the point of you complaining about it anyway? That's not going to get us home faster" Kiara then snarled a little as cera ranted. Kiara replied "And what are you doing other than complain and blame others?" She then got a bit testy as cera started to insult her father. Feeling extremely defensive, she snapped "Don't talk about my dad! My daddy did something important! Yours is just a nobody!" This resulted in cera losing her temper and shoving her down on the ground. Kiara laid there for a few seconds before getting up and trying not to cry. The push hurt her but not severely, if anything she was just a bit stressed.

Thumper rubbed his head and then listened as a majority of kids realized the situation. He then made a brave face, seeing both flower and bambi get a bit nervous. He replied to bambi, seeing him scared "Hey! Don't ya worry bambi, we'll find a way home. Besides, this will work out just fine, the adults will find us if we don't find a way home. We have each other that's what counts too" He then thumped his foot in agreement. He then widened his eyes as cera and kiara began to argue.

"Hm. This is not good. We need to find shelter and food like flower and freckles has said" Haku replied, assessing the situation. He then pondered, looking up in the sky. He then remembered his powers and wondered if that might help. He replied "Perhaps I can fly and see if there's any sign of shelter from up there?" He then turned as cera and kiara began to argue. He alongside bambi guarded kiara from being harmed any further.

"Yep. I guess we do. I can easily find food. I've been a scout for a small while" Tombo volunteered as kiki began to talk about looking for things. As did a few other kids. He then listened to bambi's suggestion "I don't know bambi, splitting up might be a bit dangerous" He then noticed cera and kiara begin to argue. He then sheepishly replied "Then again, splitting up might be a benefit in the long run"

"I think one of the lab thingies got like destroyed or something, causing us to land here" Pepper replied. She then nodded, smiling "Got dibs on finding food!" She then widened her eyes as kiara and cera began to argue. Darla meanwhile went over to rolly and replied shyly "We may also need to find some place to sleep. We might be here a while" Darla then gasped as kiara and cera argued, resulting in kiara getting pushed down.

Chowder didn't say anything, except twist his hat nervously. He went besides kiki and sen, nervous and quiet. He was all for having adventure and fun but this was dangerous. More important he didn't want to get grounded. He asked nervously "What are we gonna do?" He then beamed brightly as the other kids suggested finding food and shelter. He replied insistently "I'll help find food I'll help find food. I'm great at that. I'm even better at eating" He then blushed brightly as he saw cera and kiara argue. He then replied irritably "Great just what we need, girls arguing"

Chip was also nervous but more or less for his mother's feelings. He stayed beside chowder and replied "We better find a way home soon, mama will kill me if I'm not back by supper" He then listened as it was confirmed they wouldn't be back before then and might stay for a couple days. Chip replied nervously "A couple days? That's like forever! We can't wait that long!" He then saw cera and kiara argue and chip got even more nervous.

Cera growled. This was unacceptable. She had a right to be at home, not wherever this place was. She ignored littlefoot's comment, realizing he wasn't the problem. Cera was terrified and worried, but she was not going to admit that. Instead she transformed her fear into anger. She recalled kovu smashing into something and believed that was the culprit of her predicament. Angry, and annoyed, she snapped to kovu "I'll tell you what happened! You smashed into the device and got us stuck here!" She came close to him and replied "Why don't you watch where you're going butterpaws! What are you some kind of klutz?"

She then saw kiara stand up for him and tell her off. Now realizing she was being confronted, kiara became the priority of confrontation. She sneered at kiara "Oh and I suppose you have a better way to get home? What are you doing other than not minding your business?" She then sneered some more as kiara bit back and decided to get back at kiara. She started to get pushy and replied meanspirtedly "Oh wow, looks like the princess has some guts. Better than your dad who's off at home doing nothing and lazing around" She then widened her eyes as kiara insulted her father, by calling him a nobody. That was the last straw. Cera started to growl for real and replied angrily "How dare you talk about my daddy that way!" She then charged at kiara, shoving at her hard. She then went to charge again only to be stopped by haku and bambi. She snapped "Out of my way, that snot nose brat lioness needs to be taught a lesson"

[Kovu]

Kovu sighed.

"Great. It looks like we're on an island. All I can see is water. I mean I can swim but not that well if we're too far from land." replied Kovu.

He glanced at the two and winced as they started fighting.

"Please no more fighting." replied Kovu.

This reminded him of training his family and pride did back in the Pridelands after Simba had exiled them.

"Insulting each other gets us nowhere. You don't want to be friends fine. But touch Kiara again and you'll regret it." said Kovu.

He then threw sand at her while rushing over to Kiara.

"Are you ok?" asked Kovu.

Littlefoot sighed as he made his way over to Cera after they had stopped for the moment.

"Cera. Stop this. It was an accident. Kovu's right. You and Kiara fighting isn't going to help. If you don't want to be friends you don't have to play together. At least you still have both of your parents." replied Littlefoot.

He paused turning away sadly. He never knew his father and his mother had died in front of him protecting both of them from a Sharptooth. He'd been too young at the time to understand it but later with help from Rooter and later his grandparents he'd been able to figure it out. He hadn't said it but he'd been jealous of his friends. Cera and Ducky had both of their parents. Petrie only had his mother for parents. Spike was similar to him but he had an adopted family when Ducky's family took him in. So in a way he was alone.

"I miss my grandparents, and our friends, and the Great Valley. She misses her family too. We all do. Some got lucky to have friends and family here. I'm glad you're here Cera. Or then I'd really be alone. Everyone here's been nice but they weren't with me when we faced the Sharptooth and all our adventures. I hope Ducky, Spike and Petrie are doing okay without us. And our families." said Littlefoot.

When Kovu threw sand Littlefoot stood in the way as it hit his face and he winced. He tried rubbing it out of his eyes.

"Ow. I can't see." whispered Littlefoot.

He stumbled back into the water washing the sand off but spat out the salt walter.

"Ew. That water tastes awful." said Littlefoot.

Tender Heart rushed over to Littlefoot after the sand attack and falling into the water.

"Are you alright Littlefoot? "asked Tender Heart.

He sighed at the others.

"We need to form a truce. We need a shelter, food and drinkable water. Or we won't make it before we're rescued." replied Tender Heart.

Chihiro sighed.

"Maybe we should split up at least for a little while. Some of us could stay here and build a shelter. While the rest look for some food and water. We can live without food for a few days but without water we may not make it." replied Chihiro.

She didn't want to scare the younger kids but this was about survival.

Kiki turned to Haku hearing him say he could fly.

"Fly? Are you a witch too?" asked Kiki.

She was grateful she'd had her broomstick with her.

"Tombo and I can take a ride on my broom if we need to as well. Especially if some fruit is too high up and we can't shake it off the trees." replied Kiki.

Seeing the fighting over she sighed.

"If we turn on each other we won't make it to a rescue." said Kiki.

She paused.

"I think some of the human kids should be in both groups. Some things are easier with hands. To get food and water or making the shelter." said Kiki.

Rolly sighed.

"Food sounds good. I'd like to go with anyone making food." said Rolly.

Freckles chuckled.

"Maybe you should stay or we may not have anything left." replied Freckles

Flower sighed.

"Things were a lot easier back in the forest. I'm glad we all came here together. We could have been separated or been alone. And that would have been worse." said Flower.
