Why did you pick him/her?: He's a fun character and he's needed for Kim and Shego.

Personality:
Ron is the basic opposite to Kim. He's laidback where she is hard-working, he's socially unaware whereas she's socially aware and he's determined in ways she isn't. He's fun loving, goofy, immensely sarcastic and is quite brave and noble. He's open minded, kind and caring. He can come across as a oddball due to being quite eccentric and opinionated but he is aware of this fact, and doesn't really mind, so long as he gets to be himself. Despite being socially different, he is quite thoughtful, considerate and romantic when need be. He's also exceptionally loyal and supportive to those he cares about most. However, he can be sometimes arrogant, childish and self centered. He can get easily jealous and spiteful when his feelings are hurt. He's also quite lazy and dim-witted, especially when in a panic. He also has a huge struggle with change, despite his relatively easy going nature, he doesn't really like to be overwhelmed with things that might alter what he is comfortable with. However he makes up for these qualities for by always making up for it with his genuine sincerity along with his wise and sweet nature.
History:
Ron Stoppable was a only child for many years and was quite lonely for a while, due to his parents being emotionally unavailable. Until first grade where he met his best friend Kim Possible. The two were friends for years, even going to the same high school together and the two stuck together through thick and thin. Along with his pet and best friend Rufus, a mole rat he adopted not long after he graduated middle school. He agreed to also be a agent for hire, if only to help out his friend. They went on many hinjinks, adventures and issues together. The two were quite a team, but sometimes even they had their hiccups. Due to ron being jealous of guys being with kim and vise versa, this would sometimes lead to tense fights. One such fight included him being the mascot of her cheerleading team. Due to finding it a embarrassment, kim tried to convince ron not to do it, Ron feeling somewhat betrayed refused to listen to her resulting in them arguing. Eventually though both learned to compromise or at least listen to each other better thanks to nearly getting each other killed. He became the mascot and was openly supportive of kim being a cheerleader. He also was a excellent fun owner of Rufus, loving the little mole rat with every fiber of his being.
As time went on he still had some issues with his parents, while they cared for him and did right by him most of the time, they had a tendency to neglect him emotionally sometimes. This lead to the surprise of the adoption of his little sister Hana. His parents tended to her in ways they didn't attend to him and he grew immensely jealous, viewing her as a obstacle. But thanks to Kim he learned to accept her, and through natural bonding moments ron viewed hana as his little sister who he quickly began to adore. Then he learned of his feelings of kim and confessed them to her pleased to find she felt the same way. The two went to prom as each other's date and then became a couple. Despite some hiccups with kim's parents, the two welcomed him as kim's boyfriend and ron felt like he was part of the family. He prepared for graduation alongside kim before she disappeared.
At first he was blamed for her disappearance by kim's parents, due to ron being the last person to see her. And for a while ron had a hard time convincing them otherwise. But thankfully, thanks to the assistance of their mutual friend wade, he proved to kim's parents and authorities he didn't do anything. While there was some tension, Kim's parents eventually made up with him and worked alongside ron instead of against him. He then himself disappeared. Despite being somewhat forgiven, ron felt like he was still somewhat to blame even though kim disappeared on her own accidentally. He eventually met up with her and critic's army, agreeing to help if only to support kim. He's determined not to lose her again and to pick up where he left off, being her supportive boyfriend. And hoping rufus can do just fine without him.
