Why did you pick him/her?: For fun mostly. I've known this show since I was little and I love this character

Pufinstuf is a professional, courteous and thoughtful dragon. He's pacifistic and tends to avoid confrontation if he can help it. He's pleasant, friendly and heroic. He's also immensely diplomatic, going out of his way to exchange a peaceful but reasonable conclusion. He's a leader and tends to take charge if need be. He also is extremely loyal to the home he lives in and the people he cares about. He's kind and tender but can come across as stern when he wants things done. He doesn't want drama or nonsense and has little tolerance for either. He can come across as irritable when nonsense is made, wanting the job done. He's a bit of a workaholic and tends to focus on the goal at hand as opposed to the emotions involved, coming sometimes as a bit busy-minded. He does, however, care deeply about others and will listen when asked.
History:
H.R Pufinstuf was born alongside his little sister Shirley on living island, while her sister looked for fame as a child, H.R wanted to make a difference. When their parents passed when he was a child, he stayed beside the clock people as did his sister and was raised by them for the most part. His sister left their home to seek fame and to spread her talent, succeeding thanks to being picked up by a famous director by the name of The Great Toadinoff. Meanwhile the witch of the island called Witchiepoo became a problem as he became a adult. Feeling she needed to have someone stand up to her, he became mayor and hired his two adopted sons Cling and Clang as volunteer police. He took the two twins in and raised them as his own, feeling no one should be orphaned. He trained and assisted them in police work becoming also the chef of police. The island was small and despite a lot of people, not a lot were willing to stand against the witch due to her power and fear factor. Thankfully though as time went on some people volunteered to help him and cling and clang, such as Dr. Blinky, Judy and Ludacris Lion. He also found a cave and made it his home, pleased to see this cave was immune to the witch's power which gave him power in his own way.
One day a boy by the name of Jimmy was attacked by the witch due to him having a talking golden flute named freddy. Wanting the flute she imprisoned him in her boat, jimmy was forced to dive into the water to escape. Pufinstuf, worried for the boy's safety, rescued him and welcomed him to his cave. Jimmy and him became friends and the two handled many escape attempts to defy witchiepoo. Their attempts would fail a lot, which caused freddy to blame himself and believe if he surrendered jimmy could go home. Despite the logic, both pufnstuf and jimmy refused to let freddy give himself up. But when they weren't looking freddy ran off and surrendered himself to the witch. Despite Freddy's sacrifice, witchiepoo refused to let jimmy go home, feeling it was funny to make him stay. Pufnstuf and jimmy rescued freddy and continued to find a way to make jimmy go home with freddy.
One day jimmy disappeared, as did witchiepoo. Believing she had something to do with jimmy's disappearance, he went to her castle only to hear her servants claim she wasn't home either. This caused suspicion and worry. If she didn't have jimmy than who did? He searched and found himself here in Chicago, where he was taken in by the critic and allowed to stay. And he agreed to in order for him now to get home.
