(OCC: Pre Lion King 1. Basically a childhood thread for both nala and simba, when they were cubs. Because I love the idea of them having another fun adventure)
Nala was it for hide and seek. Thanks to Simba's persuasiveness, they managed to get permission to go deeper into the savannah and not just by the water hole. Thank goodness. Nala liked the water hole but after eighteen hundred visits, she had her fill of that place. With zazu nearby, nala and simba had spent their time but then came a bit of a bet. Simba believed he was the best hider, nala believed he couldn't even last a minute without being found. Hence the game of hide and seek. The winner would be the one to be in charge for the remainder of the day. For someone as egotistical as simba was, this was a big risk. And nala was more than willing to do anything to get it.
But the problem was she had indeed been searching for at least twenty minutes. If a half an hour passed, simba would win. Nala couldn't have that. She then heard a tiny bit of noise coming from a bush. Nala thought she misheard so at first was going to a nearby tree area, but then the noise came again. With a small little "Ow" coming from it. Nala, smirking amusedly, realized it was simba. It had to be. Nala carefully went to the bush, and noticed simba's body and his face not seeing her. She snuck up the bush carefully and slowly. Then she pounced on him with a really loud "GOTCHA!"
She then held onto him, laughing hard, relieved she had won "Ha! Got you! I win! Told you I'd find you!" Nala then smiled to him in a good sported manner "Gotta say though, you ARE good at this game"
