Personal Time(Baelfire)

[Bradley Nightstand]

(OCC: July 19th, afternoon. Bonding thread between Bradley and Baelfire. Thought this was only right to have)

Bradley relaxed as he smoked a cigarette outside, leaving his room for the moment. He felt a bit crowded already in the facilier place and it was only a few days. He had a new roommate by the name of Baelfire aka Neal Cassidy. They had been quite natural with each other, being friendly many times. But things kept keeping them from genuinely getting close. Much to Bradley's disappointment. He liked the man, he was attracted to the man. He dare even say he was getting romantically inclined. But life seemed to slip over the past few days. He felt that once he had his chance he could actually start flirting, seeing if it would work on him.

He wasn't afraid, he just wanted to know. If baelfire didn't feel the same, it would suck but Bradley would accept that. But he wanted to try. He then heard some footsteps and a familiar voice ask him to join. Bradley looked up casually to see it was Neal. With a smile, he nodded replying "Help yourself to a seat neal. Good to see you" He then smoked a little more, a bit anxious "Man do you ever feel so bored you could die? Cause I'm starting to feel it"

Neal was still adjusting to being here. His new roommate wasn't so bad. And he felt bad for the Darling children. Pan seemed to be a hero here or at least the disney version was. But that meant Hook was the bad guy so it would be awkward if he met the disney version of him. As he viewed the hook from his universe like a friend and surrogate father figure. He pau sed seeing Bradley and smiled at him. He had crushes on men before but most of the time he hadn't acted on it afraid of rejection. But this time it felt different. He sighed as he walked outside to get some air when he saw Bradley smoking.

He never liked smoking but he'd often drunk in Neverland stealing it from Pan or Hook while he was there. So he couldn't really judge.

"Hello Bradley." said Neal.

He shrugged.

"Try being stuck on an island for three centuries as a teenager. That was boring." said Neal.

Bradley took one more smoke before getting rid of it. Bradley could understand why people didn't like smoking, Bradley himself was trying to quit. But today he felt a bit anxious. He had a suspicion things would turn out fine and he wasn't going to not be honest about his feelings. But at the same time there was the nagging feeling of abandonment and rejection. He put the cigarette out, throwing the remains in the grass as neal addressed him. He then listened as neal mentioned being stuck as a teen on a island for three centuries.

Bradley widened his eyes in shock before replying with a good natured laugh "Wow. Alright. Color me impressed. That is definitely boring" He then pondered with a shrug "I mean the most time I spent someplace was when I was sixteen. Had to do a training exercise by myself for three months. Felt like centuries though. Can't say it's anything you went through though" He then smiled as neal took a seat beside him replying "You must've had one interesting childhood" He then pondered, looking outside and replying "Guess I should be grateful this place can be quiet. Don't want too much chaos I guess"

He then shrugged with a sigh, curiously looking to neal. Letting himself ease into telling about his feelings to neal. He replied curiously "I've been in a war before. But I gotta say. This is one weird situation we got ourselves in huh?"
