No Good Deed Goes Unrewarded (Open)

[Dark Heart/D.H.]

(ooc: July 21st. Morning. Open to facilier armies. would love jafar, remus, trickster, and facilier if possible to show up here. maybe remus and/or trickter suggested the idea to free jesse. but plan is jafar & dark heart to be promoted to generals for their fights with hulk and thor. better late then never. xD)

Dark Heart was confused as he walked into the room. He was called here and he wasn't sure why.

"Hello? Am I the first one here?" asked Dark Heart.

He watched Jesse get free but given the warning. He seemed to get off easy. They both had gone up against two strong people but Dark Heart had his magic. Jesse just had his mutant abilities. That had impressed him and he was sure others had as well.

"I'm glad you're one of us by your choice now Jesse. Your powers are better as an ally than an enemy." said Dark Heart.

Jesse walks in next spotting Dark Heart.

"You were called here as well?" asked Jesse.

Jesse turned seeing Rita and Malachite arrive. He gasped as their magic hit him and he was surrounded by a puff of smoke. As it cleared his head was clearer as he looked confused.

"You freed me from Gabriel's control?" asked Jesse, stunned.

He paused at the warning and nodded.

"Thank you. And I won't leave. I got something I didn't think I'd get here. Friends, and something better with Remus." said Jesse.

When Dark Heart spoke he blushed at the praise, as he'd always been a humble guy.

"Thank you Dark Heart." said Jesse.

Rita walked in with Malachite grinning to see Dark Heart here.

"Wonderful. Some of them's already here." said Rita.

She joined her staff with Malachite as together they hit Jesse. Once the spell was removed from Jesse, she turned to Dark Heart with a grin.

"And we got a surprise for you too. But we need to wait for the others to arrive." said Rita.

She nodded at Dark Heart's words.

"You both have proven valuable members for this army." said Rita.

Malachite grinned.

"Yes. Very good." said Malachite.

Malachite & Rita joined their staffs together and fired energy blasts that hit Jesse. As the smoke cleared, Malachite nodded at Jesse's words.

"Yes. We broke it. You've proven yourself to be a valuable ally protecting Trickster and trying to save Kal. You were up against two Kryptonians so the fact you survived for so long and saved trickster and yourself is admirable. But you can never leave. For if you do you will be returned to Gabriel's control and will be a slave for our army once more." said Malachite.

Malachite nodded.

"Yes. Very valuable. We thank you both for your hard work." said Malachite.

[Remus Sanders]

(OCC: Ask and thou shalt receive)

Remus had been somewhat distracted by army things. But he had agreed to come to this meeting. He arrived not long after D.H, and was here slightly before jesse. Trickster and Remus had discussed prior that they learned of jesse's brainwashing and both felt it was right to tell the leaders about it. Trickster started the conversation and remus assisted in encouraging them to set jesse free. Trickster explained jesse was valuable and remus explained that if facilier did this, jesse would be grateful and not escape. Remus came over and replied to D.H "Oh no honey I just got here too" He then saw Jesse, and then was surprised to see the leaders get right down to business to set him free. Remus clapped his hands "Oh yay! Jesse's free! Finally!" He was truly relieved and it came across as child like joy.

He then allowed the leaders to persuade jesse to stay, which of course jesse did. Then he listened as Jesse mentioned that he would stay due to having friends and him. Remus beamed brightly, super flattered and excited. He went over, giving jesse a affectionate hug "Aw, sweetie, you always say the nicest things" He then gave him a kiss. He then replied, being serious replying earnestly "Don't you worry about Gabriel. I'll make sure you stay away from him ok? You're everything to me" He then listened as facilier replied that it wasn't just them to thank. But that remus and trickster suggested his freedom. Remus blushed, sincerely replying "Yes. Of course I did. You deserve the best and I wanted to make sure you got it"

Trickster came in not long after jesse. He replied to the leaders "I hope I am not late either" He then went next to D.H, liking the boy. He then smiled as jesse was freed thanks to the leaders and warned to not leave. He then replied with delight "We value your alliance with us Jesse. Know that we are grateful. Myself especially" He then saw jafar come to miss it and wonder what was going on. Facilier then talked about trickster and remus suggesting the idea. Trickster shrugged to jesse "Think nothing of it. You assisted in saving me. I felt it was right to assist in your freedom" He then turned to the leaders and replied "We have other matters to discuss correct?" He then shrugged as facilier said that he wasted no time.

Facilier turned to D.H and Jesse replying "Actually you're right on time" He then turned to rita and malachite replying "Alright, jesse's here let's get this done" He then used his staff at the same time rita and malachite had, releasing jesse from his brainwashing. He listened as rita and malachite both spoke to him. As well as speak to D.H. Facilier nodded replying "Exactly. Jesse, you assisted in preventing more captures of our army and that means a hell of a lot to us" He then replied as jesse thanked him "Appreciate that you understand you need to be loyal still. But also we're not the only ones you should thank. Trickster and Remus showed us a lot of your worth and they were right about you"

He then turned to Trickster who asked about their other business. He chuckled "Man, you waste no time do ya trickster?Alright then" He then turned D.H "You've been earning this for a while, D.H. You've done a lot, taking down thor for instance. We've been discussing a lot about you and want you to know how we value you" He then saw jafar and replied "Heya jafar. Good to see you. You're a person we need to discuss with too. About a new position that you and D.H deserve to earn" He then turned to malachite replying "Best you announce it"

Jafar came slightly later than the rest due to discussing some things with other members. He arrived quickly though, coming in for the conversation about jesse's freedom. He then nodded "Interesting. So he's been brainwashed now freed. Good to know" He then replied with a polite bow "My leaders. You asked for me. I suppose you need me. How may I be of service?" He then turned to see that facilier said he needed to talk to both him and D.H earned a new position. He then cocked his head in interest, a power hungry smile on his face "A new position? Which one dare I ask? I'm very curious"

[Dark Heart/D.H.]

Dark Heart was surprised to hear Facilier sa ying and Jafar were getting a reward.

"A new position? What do you have in mind?" asked Dark Heart.

He froze at what they said next and grinned at the praise.

"That was just child's play. That hammer was so easy to crumble into dust. I think that hurt the god more than stabbing him with Loki's daggers. And that I did it with Loki's daggers hit Loki more than anything I could have done to him. So two for one." said Dark Heart.

He paused at Malachite's words.

"General Dark Heart. I like the sound of that." said Dark Heart.

Dark Heart nodded.

"And if anyone's a fool to question my status because I look like a child... I'll just have to practice my spelling on them." said Dark Heart.

As he spoke his hands crackled with red electricity showing he was powerful and not a pushover. When Jesse spoke he smiled.

"Thank you Jesse. I'll make sure I have you in my battles if possible. I want people I can trust on the battlefield with me." said Dark Heart.

Dark Heart sighed at Malachite's words.

"You are right about that. But I doubt there's anyone who would. Having so much power can intimidate those who don't have any." said Dark Heart.

Jesse hadn't even noticed some of the others arrive at first. He grinned seeing Remus and Trickster though.

"You two stood up for me?" asked Jesse.

He grinned thanking Trickster with a hug and then Remus hugged and kissed him. Jesse returned them both eagerly.

"I'm glad I've got the two of you looking out for me. I felt so lonely here before under Gabriel's control, and I don't feel so alone anymore." said Jesse.

When he heard Dark Heart and Jafar's new positions and how they'd got them he smiled.

"Congratulations. You both deserve it. It'd be an honor to serve either of you on the battlefield." said Jesse.

Rita smirked glad to see Facilier, Jafar and the others arrive.

"Welcome everyone. Jesse's freedom wasn't the only thing we were here to reward." said Rita.

When Facilier confirmed they were going to give Dark Heart and Jafar new positions she nodded.

"Yes. Dark Heart fought off against two gods Thor and Loki and injured Thor. Rumor has you even destroyed his hammer. And you Jafar, defeated the Incredible Hulk. Not an easy task." said Rita.

Malachite grinned.

"So we have decided to make the two of you as our generals. You will be in charge on the battlefield when one of us isn't there. We can't be there in every battle. This may put a bigger target on your backs but after defeating Thor, Loki and Hulk I know you two can handle it. " said Malachite.

He paused at Dark Heart's words and frowned.

"That is a problem we will have to deal with later. Some of the children and teens in the army have been approached by adult members for adoptions even if in name only so no one will try to take them. I think Dark Heart may need a foster or adoptive parent. He is centuries old but still looks as if he's 12 or 13." Said Malachite.
