Not Good Enough (Darkiplier)

Jasper sighed as he made his way to a local bar. So many couples, and it made him mad. And sad. He'd asked people out back home and even flirted with people. People weren't interested, were insulted or only hung around until he ran out of money. He paused ordered a beer as he sat at the bar. The bartender gave him a drink as he took a swig and sighed. Rejection stung but that wasn't what was really bothering him. It was his new crush on Darkiplier. He was gorgeous, charming, funny, and powerful. But way out of his league.

"I wish I could move past this. No way would Darkipilier be interested in me. Guess I'm just doomed to be alone." said Jasper.

He took another swig and sighed.

Darkiplier was observant of all his army's members. Including Jasper Badun. Darkiplier was definitely interested in the man. He was clever, charming, fun and attractive. However, due to his power and fear of harming jasper, he tried to appear disinterested to avoid the thief from pursuing him. But it only seemed to have a effect of hurting the man's feelings and go hard on himself. Darkiplier had feelings for others in the past, but either because his lack of control with his power or because his enemies got to the ones he loved, darkiplier tended to lose the ones he cared for quickly. He attempted to appear as cold and heartless to protect admirers but the thought of hurting Jasper's feelings made Dark feel more repentful if anything.

So, he decided to instead respond to the feelings the thief obviously had for him. Ignoring or denying the feelings only made the feelings grow stronger. Which was exactly what happened. Dark couldn't lie to himself anymore. He had feelings. And they were for Jasper. As such, he went to follow the thief. He used his powers to track jasper to the bar he was at. He saw Jasper looking upset, drinking and looking upon unaware crowds with jealousy. Darkiplier's eyes looked to the crowd, feeling a similar tinge of jealousy. But hopefully jasper and him would come to a understanding tonight and finally start a romance that they clearly both wanted. He heard Jasper's words and decided to make his presence known

He suppressed his powers somewhat. It would not last long but for jasper he felt the effort would be worth it. His skin a normal tan and his suit a nice white with black shirt and red tie. He walked up to the bartender, his voice no longer echoing but instead a normal deep voice "Give me two scotches" He gave the money expected as the bartender went to get them. He then turned to Jasper, leaning his head on one of his hands to appear casual and relaxed. He smiled, trying to appear as charming as jasper clearly seemed him to be "Care for some company, Jasper? No one should drink alone"

Jasper paused looking up seeing Darkipilier and glanced back at his drink.

"This stuff works quicker than I thought." said Jasper.

He smiled at Darkiplier thinking he is just a figment of his imagination.

"Sure. You're welcome to stay. Until I sober up or pass out and your disappear." said Jasper.

Darkiplier was a tad confused at first due to jasper's comment on the beer. But then as jasper continued, Darkiplier couldn't help but be amused at the denial. As such he started to laugh. Darkiplier laughed sincerely before shaking his head "You're not that drunk, Jasper. I'm really here" He then poked Jasper's chest playfully as proof of his being here. He then took Jasper's drink as proof of him being here before giving it back to Jasper. He then replied, with a amused but charismatic smile "But if you would like some more... physical evidence. I'm happy to provide for you"

He then was pleased to see the bartender address him and give him the two scotches. He took one of the glasses, sipping it with a evident interested look to Jasper. He saw the dance floor, tempted to drag jasper to dance to make jasper believe he was real. But he felt it was more respectful to stay sitting next to him. He then flirtatiously responded "It's amazing to me. That an attractive man like you believes himself to be unworthy of my time" He then drank some of his scotch again, looking to jasper specifically. He looked the man up and down, crossing his legs and trying to appear relaxed and seductive looking. He replied "But I suppose since you think of me as a illusion I'll just be on my way" He then went to get up to leave, hoping jasper would stop him

Jasper shook his head.

"Of course a figment of my imagination would tell me they're here." said Jasper.

He chuckled and sighed.

"I wish you were really here." said Jasper.

Jasper raised an eyebrow.

"I could also be hallucinating someone else as you who probably thinks I'm crazy or crazy drukn." said Jasper.

He paused as Darkipolier called him attractive and he blushed.

"Of course you'd only flirt in my drunken imaginations and my dreams." said Jasper.

He paused as he walked away and he shook his head.

"Wait. Don't go. You may be an illusion or this is just all a great dream. They never last as long as I want them too. But I don't want it to end just yet." said Jasper.

Darkiplier couldn't help but be impressed that jasper wasn't as foolish or naïve as some people believed he was. Normally people would be spooked by his chest poke or whatnot. Sure, it was by far a very stubborn thing but darkiplier liked a person with spirit and opinionated charm. Which was what jasper had. He was far more clever than his brother seemed to be. Darkiplier raised an eyebrow as jasper declared that he wished he was here, but couldn't really believe it due to being somewhat tipsy. Believing his speech and actions to just be a hallucination. "Now jasper, if I was a figment, then how come I can touch you? Figments cannot touch you" He then held onto jasper's shoulder to try to prove it a bit more. As he said, if he needed more evidence then he was happy to provide. He then listened as jasper replied that the figment could genuinely be just someone else touching him instead of dark himself. Darkiplier laughed harder at that "My goodness jasper. You are one stubborn man. I admire that"

It seemed jasper was definitely hard to convince, or maybe he was just denying it all due to having such a lack of confidence. Well, Darkiplier was happy to change all that. This was more amusing than anything, it was hard to annoy darkiplier. Certain nonsense here and there he could tolerate, as he was friends with Wilford, a man who was the very definition of ridiculous. Darkiplier shook his head "Jasper. I promise you I'm real. There's no reason for me to lie" He then felt his illusion of being human start to vanish. But if someone panicked or freaked out he could easily hypnotize them to ignore. As his powers of disguise started to fade, making him resume his normal demon-glitchy grey, Darkiplier just focused on jasper's denial. Who said that while this was a dream, he wanted to enjoy it.

Darkiplier shook his head, realizing it was going to take the drastic measure "I was afraid you would be hard to convince. I wanted to save this for much later. But I suppose since I have strong feelings for you anyway I think this should be good evidence to prove this is no dream" He then went to Jasper, pulling him a bit closer and giving him a soft kiss. He hoped this would work. But if it didn't he'd easily transport him home and kiss him more there. Maybe it was the booze that convinced him to do it, maybe it was the power of his feelings, maybe he was too amused with jasper's denial. Regardless he felt a kiss might help.

Jasper chuckled.

"Perhaps too stubborn at times I've been told." replied Jasper.

Jasper shrugged.

"That's what you would say if you were fake or a dream though." said Jasper.

He paused seeing his appearance chance confusing Jasper. And then suddenly they were kissing as all his doubts faded away. He lost himself in the kiss and moment eventually pulling back to breathe.

"You kissed me. You're really here. Wanting me." whispered Jasper.

He then kissed him again as he wrapped him into a hug.
