Why did you pick him/her?: Juicy, juicy drama and irony. Basically be manipulated into believing maleficent is up to no good and have a hard time being convinced otherwise.

Personality:
Merryweather is the boldest, opinionated and most stubborn out of the fairy trio. She speaks her mind and has a hard time being convinced of other opinions, only being willing to listen to those she trusts but even then she has a hard time. She's immensely spirited, and overall isn't afraid to be that way. She is blunt, and likes to focus on the importance of something. She can definitely come across as loud mouthed and hot tempered due to her firey personality but she has a well meaning heart. She's loyal, immensely so, and she usually looks out for the good of others and tries to make the ones she cares about happy and safe. Due to her love of others, she does try to push herself to be kind despite her relatively spirited disposition
History:
Merryweather was raised alongside her two sisters as fairies her entire life. Merryweather does not like to speak about it much, but she was working hard as a good fairy for a long time and focused her anger against maleficent, a evil mistress who used her powers against her and her sisters many times in the past. One day the king and queen finally had a daughter and celebrated her birthday, inviting everyone to it. Except maleficent of course. Merryweather came along with her sisters with special spells as presents for her. Flora gave her the gift of beauty, fauna gave her the gift of song. Merryweather was about to give her her gift but couldn't due to maleficent interrupting the party. Maleficent expressed annoyance and cursed the child to die on her sixteenth birthday, by having her finger pricked on the spindle of a spinning wheel. Merryweather, desperate to save the child, made her gift make the curse less lethal. She could not stop the curse, but she could assist in saving aurora's life. Merryweather's spell made the curse not be a death sentence, instead if aurora pricked her finger she would instead fall into a deep sleep only to be broken by true love's kiss. King Stephen though was afraid and made a law to no longer have spinning wheels, which caused flora to panic as well. Maleficent was far too powerful for something like this and flora knew that. So they brainstormed on what to do, then flora decided to make them mortal for sixteen years and raise the princess themselves. This meant they would not be allowed to use magic, to prevent being found by maleficent.
Merryweather was not into this plan at all and made that clear. But then flora reminded her about the princess and how important she was. So reluctantly she agreed but as the years passed, despite her clear hatred of not being allowed to use magic, she grew immensely fond of aurora and even went so far as to view her like a daughter. One day, her sixteenth birthday came and it was the day they would be fairies again, send aurora home and celebrate aurora's life. She was excited for many reasons but was struggling with the lack of magic again. Losing her mind, she went to get the wands and it immediately made things easier, as she expected. However their magic diablo found, unbeknownst to merryweather, and he noticed aurora to be returned home. While diablo left, the fairies explained to aurora of her upbringing due to aurora planning to visit a stranger she found in the woods. They told her she was to marry prince Philip as she was the princess and they were next in line for the throne. Upset at this news, she ran to her room and wept, much to the fairies heartbreak. Merryweather, devastated by her heartbreak, tried to convince her sisters to reason with Stephen about this situation. Flora told her that was not to be, while fauna seemed to agree but resisted due to not wanting to cause anymore drama. But before they could make a decision aurora was taken by maleficent and then had her finger pricked, causing all their work to be for nothing. Causing aurora to sleep until true love's kiss was given to her. Merryweather was even more devastated than before but flora once again had a plan. To make everyone sleep until aurora was saved.
They then realized through word of mouth that this was all a misunderstanding. That Philip WAS the stranger and the two met prematurely unknowing of Philip being the prince and aurora being the princess. They went to find Philip only to have him captured, doomed to rot in maleficent's cell. They rescued him, merryweather confronting diablo by turning him into stone. They helped Philip defeat maleficent and have him reunite with aurora. Then things became quite happy as the two were now destined to wed. Then suddenly without warning aurora disappeared, merryweather went to search alongside her sisters. Only for she herself to disappear. She went to find aurora but was shocked to see maleficent on the critic's side. Beyond outraged, she believed maleficent to have either made a new army or the army she was in was evil already. She was encouraged(aka lied to) by nella and ask thatguy that she indeed was under a evil army. She believed their lies and now willingly serves them.

Plans: To be confronted with the truth. We have a lot of brainwashed members but I want merryweather to be lied to like raphael and mikey were. So it's gonna take a lot more time to convince her.
