Name: Andrew "Yancy" Kennedy
Age: 26
Where is this character from?: A Heist With Markiplier: Prisoner Option
Why did you pick him/her?: He's adorable and so likeable. Couldn't help myself.
Picture:
Personality:
Yancy is a brash, stubborn, relatively impulsive, hot-headed and tough-minded individual. He's also exceptionally loyal, kind, thoughtful and sensitive. While he wants to appear as the tough guy and overall jaded individual, he's actually quite wise and sweet. He's considerate of others, going out of his way to be considerate and understanding. Because of his sensitivity however he can come across as insecure every once in a while and does take things to heart, to the point of getting easily hurt when offended. He is brave, charming and sardonic but also aggressive, mischievous and can be selfish. He is passionate and extremely feisty, willing to put up a fight or stand up for himself. However, deep within his spirited side, all he wants is to be friendly and be liked.
History:
Yancy was born as Andrew Kennedy and raised in ohio. His father Alexander Kennedy a successful CEO and his mother Marie Kennedy a kind, well liked socialite. His childhood was relatively decent and he was close with his family, with the exception of his father who looked down on him often and judged him a lot. His mother, however, was his main supporter and he was very close with her. At the age of eight, his parents divorced and he was in the main custody of his mother, visiting his father when he could. Due to the divorce, his mother made ends meet by being a waitress. Yancy meanwhile became very interested in theater, musicals in particular and with his mother's support started taking dancing lessons and singing lessons. And overall he was quite public about it until he started to get bullied immensely around middle school. He became much more secretive about it, taking lessons when he could and without anyone knowing. He kept mostly to himself until he became friends with the rebels in the neighborhood. They welcomed him in and Yancy got into trouble alongside them. This resulted in yanny getting into juvenile centers, constantly getting in and out of trouble since he was twelve. His mother, at the same time, became very ill which made yancy rebel even more. Eventually, at age fifteen, his mother passed away and he moved with his father, who ruled him with a iron fist. Yancy was forced to quit his dancing and theater classes due to his father not willing to support his dream. His father demanded that if he wanted to be a dancer, yancy himself would have to pay for it. Yancy, struggling to find work and unable to cope with the loss of his mother, if anything got much worse. Luckily, he had friends in high school and did manage to successfully graduate.
Yancy, spiteful at his father, moved out at eighteen and lived with a close friend of his named Michael Reece who would later be affectionately known as Two-Toes. Both he and two-toes got odd jobs to make ends meet, with two-toes taking computer classes and yanny taking theater when he could. One day, two-toes confessed that he became VERY good at hacking and managed to be successful in stealing money from unknown victims which was a big reason why they managed to keep their apartment successfully. Yancy agreed to keep this secret quiet but one day, his father met them at the restaurant they both worked at and threatened two-toes due to two-toes stealing from a important client of his and one of his employees figuring that out. Yancy, not wanting to see his friend go to prison, pulled off a huge heist with the help of friends. Yancy and his friends stole money while two-toes managed to also help by hacking into his father's system framing him for crimes he did not commit. The result was IMMENSE financial loss and social humiliation, and Yancy's father spent at least ten years in prison. Yancy, hateful of his father, did not regret it and was successful in getting away with it.
He used all his dad's money mostly to help his friends and Two-Toes, only using the bare minimum of his reward to get a nicer house and a dog who he named "Marie" after his departed mother. Things became a stalemate of comfortable living but one day one of his other friends, named Stan, asked for his help in stealing from a well known jeweler. Yancy agreed but got caught alongside him. This resulted in him spending five years for theft. He got out in two years for good behavior but yancy was so interested in the prison lifestyle. So he stole a lot more, resulting in ten years. He got out again for good behavior but rebelled and failed parole, so he got into prison once again, this time the judge threw the book at him punishing him severely. Resulting in yancy having a sentence of eighteen to twenty years. But yancy didn't mind, he had his best friend two-toes and many other prisoners as friends such as binky and tiny. He even liked the warden and guards there, and they liked him. He felt more at home. Marie, his dog, thankfully was taken in by Stan who was the only one of his friend group to get away with it and kept yancy’s dog as his until yancy would get out. But yancy wasn't sure if he would. He liked prison. He even dared to say he loved it. Then, a new prisoner came to the prison, responsible for a heist and manslaughter of two civilians. He tried to convince this new prisoner to stay but the prisoner asked to leave, Yancy eventually agreed to help. He helped the prisoner escape and even reconsidered his prison life thanks to this new friend. He went back to the prison, waiting for his next chance to possibly leave.
Then one day, he woke up here, in Chicago illnois. He found this army, called nostalgia critic's army and agreed to help them in exchange to return home. After all, he has a dog and friends to take care of back home. They're all the family he has left.
Allies: Two-Toes, Tiny, Binky, Stan, Critic army
Enemies: ATG and Facilier Army
Plans: Romance with someone, make friends. Try to turn his life around and be a relatively good guy.
