[Jessica Rabbit]

(June 27th. Evening.)

Jessica grinned as she stood on the porch. A meal under the stars. And she'd even baked him a carrot cake. She'd asked for help from Brock, Mrs. Potts and others to make the meal as she wanted it done fast on short notice. And others to keep Roger busy until the right moment. As she finishing setting out the food a note appeared in her hand by magic telling her Roger was on his way back home.

"Right on time. I hope he likes it." said Jessica.

She felt guilty that it had two months since they'd come here and they spent more time together in their old world than here. She knew there was a going on but time had slipped away from them. She wanted to make it up to him and hoped this dinner would be a start. She heard the door open and smiled.

"I'm in the backyard, Roger. Come on out." said Jessica.

Roger felt like a poor husband. He was just so... busy. Surviving and being a toon in a war was one way ticket to death. Especially with rumors of enemies of old came back. He felt his blood get cold at the mere thought of losing his wife to this place. Which was why he trained as hard as he did. Yet he knew for a fact this meant less time with his beloved. Which frightened and saddened him. While he had undeniable faith in her, the reason of his troubles was due to the fact he wrongfully believed her to cheat. And he had this fear of her being rightfully tired of him and leaving. He didn't believe she'd cheat, but he did believe she would grow tired and want to find someone else. Roger knew she deserved the world but he was selfish to still have her to himself. So he made a plan to get her out of the house and spend time with her.

He was trying to at least but suddenly, tonight, people started to keep distracting him. The children asked him to perform as they were all upset and roger could never deny children. Then daphne and velma kept bombarding him with chores. Then mrs. potts and brock asked for his help. Roger had to actually lie and sneak away but it seemed even genie was getting involved with him more than often. This annoyed him greatly. But finally, he was able to sneak away again and meet his wife as she asked him to on the porch. He replied as she told him to come out to the backyard "I'm coming my cherry pie! My sweetheart! I'm so sorry all these people wouldn't stop distracting me. It's like they were trying to do it on purpose!"

Suddenly, he noticed the dinner and décor. With a carrot cake, his most favorite dessert. It all started to click. This was why Jessica asked him out here, this was why everyone was so demanding of his attention. Roger couldn't help but be a bit teared up and replied touched, beyond flattered "Why Jessica! Is this for you and me? Is this dinner just for us?" He got even more flattered and went to give her a delighted hug and kiss "Oh my dearest! You make me the luckiest husband ever!"

Jessica grinned hearing Roger complain about the distractions. The others must have outdone themselves and he didn't suspect once.

"Yes it is. I wanted this to be for us." said Jessica.

She paused looking down, feeling a bit sad for a moment.

"It's been a few weeks since we got here Roger and we've barely seen each other. I've missed your jokes and your laugh, but I've missed you the most." said Jessica.

She then smiled at Roger returning his hug and kiss.

"No. I'm the lucky wife to have you. I hope the others didn't overdo it. I needed help to prepare this. Brock, Mrs. Potts and others helped me make this up quickly. So we could have a night just the two of us." said Jessica.

Roger's heart pitter-pattered in delight. The gratefulness he had was evident in his face. He gave her a quick kiss as she said it was for them. He was about to praise her but then felt a strange pain as she admitted to missing him. Of course she did. He was aware because it was the same for him. Roger admittedly sweetly "Believe me, my angel I missed you too. It's been busy and I've missed your smile. We'll make up for it now" He then pointed to the dinner with a smile

He then blushed as she explained that people helped her distract him and cook. He replied "Well now that I understand why they distracted me I have no feelings. And I'm sure I'll love this because it's all about us. I'll be able to spend more time with you! I just am so lucky even if you say I'm not" He then kissed her hand and arm before kissing her cheek. He replied sweetly "Let's sit back and enjoy"

Jessica smiled.

"It feels weird to be here too and run into people who I know, but on't know us. They're from the actual worlds and not just actors like us." replied Jessica.

She chuckled.

"I'm glad they helped so we could have this time together." said Jessica.

Jessica nodded.

"Yes. If you want we could eat outside too. It's not sunset yet but the view is always wonderful seeing it set." mentioned Jessica.
