Why did you pick him/her?: She's a sweet character but also to be a sister to koda and a wife to kenai

Nita can at first glance be a nosy busybody who's a tad sensitive and by the book and overall can be a stick in the mud. However, she's genuine, sweet, fun-loving and spirited and despite her desires to focus on the mission and what the task entails she does have a sense of humor. She can be quite compassionate, wise and tender while having that firey spirit and determined outlook. She's very loyal to family, as such she tends to be a bit hesitant to make rash decisions due to being protective to her loved ones. She can be a bit short-sighted sometimes, focused on what must be done rather than what is right. However, she is learning to be a lot less strict and a lot more caring due to not exactly enjoying the constant need of tradition.
History:
Nita was born into the same tribe as Kenai was and was raised alongside him. The two became very good friends as children and spent a lot of time together. However, unfortunately, her mother got sick and died causing her and her father to move in back with her father's old tribe and leave kenai around the age of eleven. However, she kept his pendant that he gave her during a adventure at Ocani Falls. As the years passed, she became a relatively pleasant woman, betrothed to Atka, the son of the lead ally of her father's tribe. Their marriage would unite both tribes and nita was unconcerned about not knowing the man well, as long as her father was content and happy. However the spirits stopped the marriage, and the shawoman of her tribe confirmed they forbade the marriage to Atka, saying she was already committed to Kenai due to their childhood promise to stay together. Annoyed somewhat, she begged the shawoman to fix it and she told nita the only way to marry atka was to burn the trinket at the same falls kenai gave it to her. She was given the power to speak to animals and nita reunited to kenai and she managed to eventually convince kenai to help her.
At first the two butted heads, but it was made up by the fact she and koda had a somewhat peaceful friendship. They got into hijinks of sorts which caused them to bond and befriend each other once again. Their befriending blossomed into a romance, which was assisted by kenai comforting her when she got scared of the water. Which was the main reason the trip was as long as it was, she feared the water ever since she nearly drowned when she was young. Kenai offered to teach her to swim and the trip became genuinely fun as time went on. However her friendship with koda became a edgy stalemate as she unintentionally ignored the cub to have fun with kenai. As their journey continued, the two bonded over a fire. Nita then asked him during this conversation that if kenai considered going back to a human. Kenai admitted to it causing koda to run off to the glaciers in anger. Nita managed to find and save him from the severe impact of a avalanche and when they both confronted koda, they both realized he heard their conversation much to Nita's guilt. She realized kenai couldn't just leave especially since kenai was so fond and protective of koda. And with that they continued their journey to the falls and all three reconciled and nita burnt the trinket. With a heavy sad heart, she left kenai and koda returning to wed Atka. But she felt unable to marry him and said this to her father, but just as she confronted her father koda got hunted down. Nita tried to stop them as best she could but kenai got hurt in the process of saving koda. Nita then tearfully confessed her love for him and vise versa. She then decided it was best she turn into a bear which she did so. Then she married kenai and went on her way with both him and Koda, becoming the sister figure koda needed.
One day though koda disappeared, much to both her and kenai's horror. She searched the woods, unconcerned of the dangers of winter but managed to see him in a house in some place called Chicago. She can only hope they'll return home but in the meantime will look out for koda and kenai in her own way.

Plans: Romance Kenai, be there for koda. Probably fight or something down that line.
