Name: Koda
Age: 10 in human years
Where is this character from?: Brother Bear 1 and 2
Why did you pick him/her?: Because I LOVE his character. A lot.
Picture:
Personality:
Koda is a hyperactive, outgoing, curious, adventurous, loud-mouthed little cub. There is no question that he loves to explore and has a lust for life. He's friendly, energetic and surprisingly inciteful for his age. He's sensitive though and tends to lose his patience very quickly, especially when people touch a topic he's uncomfortable with. He's honest and very upfront with his feelings, being quite empathetic and understanding. He's immensely imaginative and creative, having a surprisingly amount of depth underneath his childish behavior. He's thoughtful and surprisingly wise despite his age. While he can be selfish at times he is immensely noble and usually goes out of his way to help others.
History:
Koda was born in the Alaskan woods, far past human civilization but as time had passed there were a few tribes of humans that would take up space. Thankfully, most tribes would leave them alone so long as bears didn't overstay their welcome. Some humans, however, would either hunt them for fur coats or sport, so koda learned very quickly to avoid humans. His mother was very affectionate and doting to him, teaching and showing her son the ways of the bear very quickly. While she always was there for him, she would always push for his independence every once in a while. One day, his mother found a bunch of fish and shared her bounty with him. Suddenly she smelled something and pushed him away, telling him to not make a sound. A hunter came and confronted her, causing her to distract both him and two other men to prevent them seeing him. She fought them bravely and then they got separated thanks to the glacier breaking. He then remembered that his mother told him that in case they got lost to meet at the salmon run. So he went on his way there.
Koda was on his own for a short period of time, but found another older bear by the name of Kenai. Kenai was grouchy and nasty to him at first, but koda managed to convince him to take koda to the salmon run where the lights touched the mountain. The two had a journey across the woods together and bonded as time went on with Kenai even going out of his way to protect him from a human hunter. Koda and Kenai eventually made it to the salmon run and had a genuinely nice time. Then came the story circle game, where bears caught the fish and told a story alongside it about what was the most interesting thing of that year to happen. Koda got his turn and explained his situation, which seemed to spook kenai immensely. The next morning kenai explained to him that he was a human turned into a bear, because he killed his mother. Heartbroken and betrayed, he fled and hid away. But thanks to Rutt and Tuke, he learned to forgive and move on and went to help kenai against a hunter. This lead to have kenai turn into a human to reunite with his brother. This left kenai to be forced to make a choice, stay as a human and return home, or become a bear and raise koda. Kenai, of course, chose him and the two went on their life as bears, spending quality time together.
As months went on Kenai began having dreams about someone named Nita. Koda couldn't help but be curious about it, but fortunately his questions about nita were answered as she came to reunite with kenai. Only to ask for his help to go to the equinox to the mountain where he gave her a childhood trinket. Kenai only agreed when nita threatened that the spirits would force him to be a man if he refused. So the three of them went on a adventure to the mountain and as time passed kenai and nita became closer and more involved. Leaving Koda to be somewhat neglected and emotionally ignored. He went over on a private conversation both kenai and nita had, where nita asked if kenai ever considered turning human again. Kenai admitted he had much to Koda's horror. He ran off, believing kenai would leave him alone but he got found by both him and nita. Koda confronted him on what he said and kenai explained that he missed his old life but he was never going to abandon koda. They then went to the equinox where nita burnt the trinket and went back to her tribe. Koda felt guilty due to kenai being so heartbroken and confessed to his mother than he would rather see his brother happy again if it meant he was human. He then tried to go find nita in her tribe but hunters went to try and kill him, kenai saved him from the fray but got injured.
Nita then went and stopped them from actually killing him and kenai, saying they were not harmful. She then tried to heal kenai and confessed her love for him and vise versa. Then nita was shown to the great spirits which resulted in nita making the decision to turn into a bear so kenai wouldn't turn into a human. She turned into a bear and married kenai and koda got a sister in law. Things then once again were resumed to normal.
Until he disappeared and came to a city of Chicago. He was used to humans but wasn't so much with other creatures such as mutants but he eventually got used to it. He tried to resume his life within the city but grew immensely homesick for his brother so he snuck out at night many times to find his brother, only to be taken back to the critic's homes. Angered by their lack of effort, he hid away but eventually he realized this wasn't going to help anyone so he eventually got used to the critic's and has now decided regardless of whether his brother comes or not, koda was going to take advantage of this time and do his part to get back home.
Allies: Kenai, Nita, Rutt, Tuke, Tug, Critic Army
Enemies: Hunters, ATG and Facilier Army
Plans: Since kenai is coming I want tons of brotherly bonding. Other than that, make friends, become a bit stronger as a bear cub. Maybe get into a fight with one of the other army kids.
