Why did you pick him/her?: Because, as always, I love cute kid characters. And nemo is adorable.

Personality:
Nemo is mischievous, overly curious, impulsive, impatient and a bit brash. He also is kind, adventurous, optimistic, mild-mannered and sweet. He has a lust for life and enjoys the world around him, he's outgoing and is immensely creative. He is a big dreamer, imaginative and fun-loving. He does, however, tend to let temptation get the best of him and likes to do what he thinks is fun most of the time. As such, he can be easily persuaded and manipulated due to being quite naïve. He is loyal and friendly, going out of his way most of the time to help others. He can be courageous and determined especially when danger is involved.
History:
Nemo was born in the state of Pennsylvania, raised by his parents in the skirts of the city. His father was a workaholic banker and his mother a stay at home wife who baked for the community. Nemo was close with both parents but sometimes would feel resentful his father was so busy and would try to get his father's attention by causing some mischief. Thankfully both parents noticed the habit and his father made up for it by taking him to fun trips every end of the month. One trip was to the train station where he found and adopted a flying squirrel who he named Icarus. Not only that, the trip to the train station gave nemo a passion for automobiles and mechanical things. So overall, with his parents guiding him to healthy activities, nemo eventually became less self destructive and more of a day dreamer. His dreams became more and more creative due to being less troublemaking to the outside world.
One morning there was a circus parade announcing the circus was in town. Nemo naturally wanted to go but his father wouldn't give him a straight answer. As such he decided to act out one more time by breaking the promise to not eat pie before bed. His mother caught him in the act and thankfully nemo was given the slip due to it being so late. Nemo went to bed and awoke thanks to a man by the name of Professor Genius awakening him on behalf of Princess Camille and her father Morpheus, King Of Slumberland. They wanted to take Nemo into Slumberland and make him Prince as well as the official playmate of Camille. Much to his delight, he took Icarus and went to slumberland. He met the king, princess and a sly trickster by the name of Flip. He befriended the king, and had a friendship leaning towards a slight romance with the princess. However nemo was somewhat forced to the royal traditions and as such nemo attempted to escape with the help of Flip. Flip encouraged him that being a royal was lame and that getting into trouble would be fun, something that nemo agreed to at the moment. Then he found a secret underground lair with a large door. He recalled this was the door Morpheus made him promise not to open, but Flip managed to convince him to open it despite the promise. He opened it but at first it appeared to be nothing and Nemo went to his Prince coronation, inheriting Morpheus' Scepter which could destroy all and any evil. However, the door caused the Nightmare King to be released, causing havoc in Slumberland and getting Morpheus kidnapped. Ashamed and terrified for Morpheus' safety, Nemo managed to get Professor Genius, Camille, Icarus and Flip to make a small team to go to Nightmare Land and rescue him.
They got lost at first but thanks to a group of Oomp Goblins they made their way to the forest and to the Nightmare King's castle. Camille, Flip and Professor Genius got trapped alongside Morpheus and Nemo used Morpheus' scepter to kill the Nightmare King. He saved Slumberland but Nemo felt unworthy to be prince and felt it was best to return home. He promised, a promise he made sure to keep, that he would return when the time was right. Camille kissed him goodbye and nemo promised her he would return. He awoke realizing it was overall a dream, though something in his gut believed it was real. He apologized to his mother for breaking his promise, and was shocked to see his mother take it in stride, and was even more surprised to hear his father announce he was going to the circus with him. Delighted, he got dressed and went to the circus with his father and life returned somewhat to normal. He had a dream here and there still visiting slumberland but then he dreamed Camille disappeared. He became worried but found himself alone, without even his good pet Icarus with him. He found himself in a home near Chicago and was found by a group of people who allianced themselves with a man called Ask Thatguy. Feeling frightened and alone, he agreed to stay. But he wishes to have a family again or at least not be so alone.
