History:
Goofy grew up having a normal childhood. His hometown was Spoonerville but he moved away when he was younger to Paris. It was there he met Mickey and Donald and Pluto. His family was poor and working several jobs just to pay the bills so he rarely saw his parents. He hung out with his two new friends most of the time dreaming to be musketeers.
They grew up together as a team. He was only 18 when they were finally recruited to join the musketeers. It had been a dream come true. But despite their best efforts queen Minnie was kidnapped by the beagle boys. Goofy was captured by Clarabelle cow to drown him but he fell in love with her. He serenaded her with a song singing how he'd fallen for her and eventually won her over with his words. She freed him and Goofy found Pluto and Donald. Together they went to rescue Mickey from Pete's trap. And together they rescued Minnie and Daisy. Pete and the Beagle Boys were sent off to jail while the three men had to seem found love.
However, romance wasn' t meant to last for Goofy. He tried his best but Clarabelle's ex Horace moved back to Paris and Clarabelle had never really gotten over him. Goofy and Clarabelle reluctantly parted ways deciding to remain friends and a couple of years later, Gofoy was a guest at her wedding to Horace. He moved in with Donald and Goofy to spare his family more expenses so they could relax more and not have to feed him. When Mickey sold the cow for beans he was more confused than angry. But also went to bed hungry that night.
However when a beanstalk grew he thought their luck changed as he went up with Mickey and Donald. They found a harp that had been gone months ago. They rescued her but Willie chased them. And he fell down to the ground. He survived barely but apologized and in the end became a good friend for the trio and the kingdom.
Goofy found love a second time with a lovely girl named Rhoda. Their courtship was longer than his time with Clarabelle and he decided to marry her and a few months later learned she was pregnant. Having a wife and a child coming soon Goofy reluctantly said goodbye to his friends and the couple moved to America for a new start. Goofy knew his career as a musketeer was over as it wouldn't pay enough for his family.
Once in America he did any job he could sometimes multiple jobs in a year as he couldn't always keep them due to his clumsiness. But he always made sure his family had enough food and clothes. In some cases borrowing loans from banks or from neighbors just to keep his family happy. He eventually was able to pay back his debt over time. The birth of his son Maxie was a happy occasion, one they both had looked forward to.
Sadly that happiness was shortlived as Rhoda had developed cancer. It had been undetected as they couldn't afford specialists and she just thought she'd been sick due to the pregnancy. Despite their best efforts, the treatments weren't working and she stopped taking them. She spends her last few months with her son and husband at home. Goofy had her buried in Paris with her family to respect her wishes.
Max was only 3 years old when she died. Goofy tried his best being a single father to make sure he didn't forget her. He'd tell Max stories and shared what photos and videos he had of her. The memories became too much so he packed up and moved back to Spoonerville moving into the Pete family. Pete had gotten out of jail and started a family of his own marring a woman named Peg who seemed to keep him on the straight and narrow more and they had two children PJ and Pistol. PJ and Max soon became best friends.
Goofy and Pete became friends of sorts being neighbors. Even if Pete took advantage of Goofy here and there overcharging him for repairs, babysitting, and other stuff like that. But Goofy let it pass. He did stay in touch with Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Daisy, Horace and Clarabelle writing letters to them often as he could even after the move. After max graduated high school and goofy lost his job he learned he never finished college so many jobs would be closed to him. He started to get a depressed feeling like he was all alone. Th en he decided he had to go back to college and he could be near his son again.
Unfortunately, Max didn't see it that way and was annoyed at him at first. It didn't help Goofy was with a rival team the Gammas and was quite good at skateboarding. Despite this Goofy kept trying and fell for the librarian Sylvia going out on a date with her. But the fighting with Max soon got to him and he slipped back into that depression. Missing dates, failing tests. In the end, he and Max were able to make up and expose Bradley and the Gammas as cheating. Bradley was sent flying by Tank who he'd injured earlier in an attempt to win. Goofy then went on another date with Sylvia and was relieved he and Max were on good terms again.
But then one day, Pete disappeared worrying Pete's family. Then Minnie sent him a letter that Willie had disappeared. Mickey went looking for him and disappeared as well. When Max vanished next, Goofy started panicking. He went to look for Sylvia but she was gone too. And for the first time, he was really alone. It scared him. Minnie, Daisy and the others were searching for clues for Mickey in Paris so he had to search for Pete, Max, and Sylvia here. But before he could properly begin his search he vanished and reappeared somewhere else. In Chicago. He hoped they were here especially Max and Sylvia but he wouldn't stop looking for all five of them.
