No Stupidity In Love Songs(That Guy With The Hat)

[Paw]

(OCC: July 18th, late morning. Romance bonding thread with Paw and That Guy. Hope you don't mind)

Paw had been up all night for this ukulele song he wanted to make for that guy. He didn't even know if that guy would like it but he had to express his feelings somehow. And what better way than music? He also got a backup plan of chocolates and wine, knowing that guy did indeed like wine. He kept writing and as he did realized that maybe he shouldn't of been holding his feelings for so long. Maybe time wouldn't of been wasted. But whatever, paw supposed, he'd rather be honest now then not be honest at all. He finally finished the chorus then made his way to that guy's room. He knocked and replied nervously "Hat? It's Paw. I, um, I wanted to show you this nice song I made for you. I know this is kind of weird but I wanted to tell you something so I made it into a song. Would you open the door for me please?"

[That Guy With The Hat]

Hat was just lazying in his bed wearing only his trademark robes. When there was a knock on the door.

"Paw? It must be later than I thought." said Hat.

He stood up and walked to the door. He opened the door glancing and Paw and grinned.

"No one's ever made a song for me. I'd like to hear it." said Hat.

[Paw]

Paw was quite glad Hat was willing to open the door and hear his song. With a grin, paw got his ukulele out and replied "Okay. Here goes nothing. It's called 'How I Feel'. I really hope you like it because it's about you" He then proceeded with a small tune, fast but simple. He went on for a tiny bit before finally singing out the song he made. As he played he looked right at hat, smiling as he sang.

"Well, I met this guy and he's really swell, I feel like someone should treat him well. I can't stop thinking how nice he is or how he makes me smile. I really think he should stay a while to get to know me, and maybe he and me can instead be we. Oh, I think he's funny. I think he's cute. I think he should go a date with me, don't worry I'll spend all my money. I really like him. And I hope he likes me. This is how I feel"

Paw continued to play the tune. He then decided to keep going. He wanted Hat to understand that paw wanted to date him. He wanted to make hat understand that he had really strong feelings that just wouldn't go away. He hoped this song would convince him to date. He continued

"He's got a cute robe that matches his eyes and I also think he really tries to help his friends because he's sweet and looks out for them. He's really kind from what I see, I'd give anything to make him happy. He deserves the best and I can do that above all the rest. Oh, I think he's funny. I think he's cute. I think he should go a date with me, don't worry I'll spend all my money. I really like him. And I hope he likes me. This is how I feel" Paw continued a little more "This is how I feel. Ohhh, this is how I feel" 


He then slowly stopped and put his ukulele away. He then blushed to Hat and looked to him to see what he thought "Um, well, do you like it?"

[That Guy With The Hat]

Hat watched and listened not sure what to expect. But as the song went on he could tell Paw had put his heart into it. He'd always thought the guy was handsome and funny but he never thought the interst would be mutual. As the song finished he smiled.

"I've never been asked out through song before either. That was incredible." said Hat.

He grinned.

"I've been a fan of your work watching your reviews and crossovers when I could. I didn't think you'd be interested but now that you've made the first move...."

He trailed off leaning forward and giving Paw a quick kiss.

"I'll definitely go out with you." said Hat.

He paused with a grin.

"Think you could record that song for me sometime? I'd love to have it on a cd or something." said Hat.

Paw's smile widened as he saw Hat seem to enjoy the song. Paw blushed, replying shyly "Aw, well thanks. I'm so glad you like it" He then was shocked to hear Hat not only felt the same way, but was fearful that Paw would reject HIM. He then got a kiss. Paw blushed and listened as Hat accepted his invitation and even asked for the cd recording of the song. Paw replied insistently "Oh you'll get a special edition of that song with a couple other ones and all that"

He then got a bit excited and boldly gave Hat another kiss, a tender and longer one than the first one. He then sighed replying "I've wanted to tell you how I felt for the longest time. I'm so glad I made that song" He then replied "What do you say we have some wine and chocolates and watch one of your favorite movies? Then maybe later we can go to the city to get a nice lunch?"

[That Guy With The Hat]

Hat grinned.

"I'm glad you wrote and sang it." said Hat.

Hat nodded.

"Good. I look forward to it." said Hat.

He paused as Paw gave him another kiss and he returned it eagerly.

"Well I suppose we should make up for a lost time then." said Hat.

He nodded.

"Wine and chocolates sound good. As for movies, well I'm not sure. Maybe we could find a new film out I haven't seen yet." said Hat.

He grinned.

"As for lunch I supposed we shouldn't eat too much. Might spoil our appetite." said Paw.
