Quote: "What are you doing?"
Name: Mark Smith
Age: 25
Where is this character from? The room
Why did you pick him/her?: one of my favorite critic reviews and he's a fun character.
Picture:
Personality: funny, charming, clueless about women sometimes, friendly, protective, compassionate.
History:
Mark had a pretty much normal childhood. Two parents, many friends. But everything changed when he met Johnny. The odditiy and strangeness became the routine. And he didn't mind. He found his life got a bit more fun after that.
He soon met many of Johnny's friends including Lisa who was dating Johnny. After talking with Johnny one day on his lunch break he's called over to Johnny's house by Lisa. She seduces him and he's confused at first but goes along with it as she is beautiful and he'd been attracted to her. She told him lies that Johnny hit her convincing him to have doubts about his friendship with Johnny. She calls him back a few days later where they sleep together once more.
The day after he meets Johnny on the roof where they talk about people cheating on someone. Johnny senses soimething's bothering him but Mark chooses not to talk about it. But a drug dealer comes threatening one of their ffriends for money and Johnny and Mark get the dealer out of the way saving the boyk, Lisa and her mother. They question him about the drugs but he doesnt' want to talk about it and they all leave. They later play football wearing tuxes.
Mark admits to his friend Peter he's been seeing someone new who heard from Johnny that Lisa's been distant from him. Mark was smoking marjiuana at the time so was a little off when Peter confronts him. Mark fights him at first before admitting the truth. Peter tells him Lisa doesn't love him but is just using him for the fun of it. Later at Johnny's birthday party Lisa tries to sleep with Mark again but another friend catches them and tells them to stop. And how could they do this to Johnny especially on his birthday party. But it all comes out as Johnny and Mark get into a fight. Johnny kicks everyone out as Mark goes home.
Mark later is on the phone with Lisa as they make plans to run away together. He comes to pick her up when they hear gunshots and find Johnny dead. Realizing this has cost his friend's life he pushes Lisa away dumping her feeling like he betrayed his friend and now he was gone. Johnny was later taken the morgue and later buried. His life went back to the old routine as word got out he and Lisa had been together and most of his old friends stopped hanging out with him. He decided to move away wanting a fresh start but one day he disappeared and ended up in another world. A world where his life or parts of it was a movie. He reluctantly joined Critic's army at least for safety. He wasn't sure how much good he'd be in a war but he didn't want to end up dead or a prisoner in the other armies either.
Allies: Johnny (formerly); Lisa (formerly); Critic's Army.
Enemies: Johnny; Lisa; other armies.
Plans: gain a romance; if we get a Johnny to try to make amends to him.
