Quote: "So there's Ronald with his magic bag. A bag of hallucinogenic drugs. I always thought that clown was one scary motherfucker."
Name: Angry Video Game Nerd
Age: 35
Where is this character from? The Angry Video Game Nerd/Angry Nintendo Nerd (formerly)
Why did you pick him/her?: fun character. rival for the critic.
Picture:
Personality: Cynical, Funny, Blunt, Smart. He has a wide collection of video game and video game knowledge that he shares with the world in his videos. He and Critic have a rivalry but he does respect Critic. Even if they don't always agree on things.
History:
He started a couple of reviews in 2004 as a joke, never planning to release them. Two years later he was talked into making them and publishing them online as the Angry Nintendo Nerd. After a year of reviews, he renamed himself the Angry Video Game Nerd to avoid copyright problems. In many of his reviews, people from the games would come to taunt him. Often giving him the game or several games to review.
But he gained a rivalry in the Nostalgia Critic. They finally met in a brawl which ended in a draw. The second brawl they gathered other movie and game reviewers. It ended in a tie afterwards as they cheered on two giant monsters fighting. And forget why they were really fighting in the first place. They called a truce and went home. He and Critic also challenged each other in a bet. The critic had to review a video game Bebe's Kid and Angry Video Game Nerd had to review a movie. Both seemed to do pretty well.
As the years went by he popped on other shows and specials including To Boldly Flee helping out Nostalgia Critic in the final battle. He thought Critic had died after crossing through the plot hole. But soon word began of his return as he continued reviewing as well as news of the war breaking out. And he heard a couple of reviewers were in Ask That Guy's army. He decided to join the war but when arriving in Chicago he was at a circus performance. He recognized several characters from various movies and tv shows. As he was exploring he learned a few were there against their will. But he was caught by a few people and bluffed saying he was there to join. Now stuck there he decided he'd spy on this army, trying to free the prisoners here and get them to Critic's side. So for now he'd just have to play along and pass on information to Critic's army when he could.
Allies: Facilier's army.
Enemies: other armies.
Plans: meet critic and other reviewers in battle; gain friends and possible romances.
