Quote: "Pumbaa, not in front of the kids!"
Name: Timon
Age: 7
Where is this character from?: Lion King Series
Why did you pick him/her?: Mostly for simba to not feel so isolated. He's without his daughter, wife and mom-in-law, the least he can have is his loyal caregiver.
Picture:
Personality:
Timon can be a bit self-serving, egotistical and selfish. He also can be a bit spineless, cowardly and overly cynical. However, underneath his cynicism lies a good-hearted, loyal, kind-hearted person. He can come across as judgmental but it's really that he's not very trusting, being a bit socially awkward around most people. In reality he longs to be liked and respected, and once he gets it tends to be grateful for it. He's immensely loyal and compassionate, especially towards kids and his best friend pumbaa. He's overall a person who's laidback, and usually doesn't like to confront people unless they confront him. He's impulsive and tends to say what he wants despite the consequences even if it's harsh. He also feels that his ideas are the only ideas worth listening, he can come across as narrowminded. However if someone stands up and confronts him, he does listen and does change his perspective when needed. He usually means well and can be quite friendly and nice once someone gets to know him. He's a bit of a snarker, tending to look at a situation with some form of humor.
History:
Timon was raised in outskirts of the pridelands, in a secluded part where there was little food and even littler shelter. They were forced underground and to find bugs from the deepest parts of the tunnels. His whole meerkat group was so focused on safety and fear of being eaten, his more light-hearted attempts and clumsy outlooks naturally made timon a outcast in his own group. The only one who genuinely cared and liked him was his mother. His own uncle max saw him as a burden and he was disliked by his peers. Feeling genuinely unwelcome, he left off to find a better home for his mother and to gain respect. His journey lead him to meeting Rafiki, a wise baboon who told him that if he was to find his happy place, he needed to have hakuna matata and look beyond what he saw. Timon, tending to not understand metaphors or symbolism, took it literally and tried to find beyond what he saw. Leading him to his first location, Pride Rock. On his way there he met and allied himself with a lone warthog by the name of Pumbaa. The warthog was kind and one of the few people to genuinely speak politely to him, but he had a bit of his own problems: Being in the form of being a bit dim-witted and gassy. But timon honestly didn't mind, if anything he was quite fond of the warthog very quickly and the two went to pride rock, unfortunately it was taken by a group of lions. So they went to a little area where the two stayed for a couple years. Their life was somewhat comfortable until a young cub accidentally caused a group of animals to destroy their home. Leading them to go to the elephant graveyard, but that did not last long either, not even a day went by before they were scared off by hyenas. They then went to two more locations but failed miserably, Timon was going to give up but then realized pumbaa would be alone. So he vowed to continue, just for the sake of being with his friend.
He then woke up to pumbaa telling him to come see what he found. They then found a oasis, a large sect of land covered in good plant life, amazing waterfalls and endless supplies of bugs. They found their paradise. And they stayed here for years. One day though they found buzzards and played one of their favorite games, finding a unconscious lion cub. At pumbaa's insistence they agreed to take him in and the cub was awoken by their attempts to revive him. They asked where he came from and why he was here and didn't get a specific answer other than he wasn't allowed to return to where he came from and that he was a outcast due to doing 'something bad'. Timon, not really concerned, advised his young friend to abandon his past and to seek hakuna matata, meaning no worries. The duo then in their own way raised simba to adulthood and life was once again peaceful. But then a lioness by the name of nala returned and simba kindled a romance with her, leading to timon concerned he was going to lose his friend. But it turned out nala wasn't the culprit of him leaving but some sort of quest based on his past. Nala explained that simba was a heir to the pride rock throne, a rightful heir who had his throne stolen by his uncle. Timon was a bit disillusioned by this and angrily stayed, even letting pumbaa go without him. But his actions of staying behind caught up to him and he realized that his happy place was really simba and pumbaa. So he followed them and loyally assisted simba to get his throne back, reuniting with his mom and uncle also. Not long after, simba and nala had their daughter Kiara and timon was officially somewhat of a babysitter again. Kiara though was a bit different for him, one being that she was a girl. But timon grew very fond of kiara and took his job seriously. Then one day the cub disappeared, then nala disappeared, then sarafina disappeared, next thing he knew simba disappeared. Timon, terrified, went off to find them but also ended up in the ask thatguy army.
Like simba he was imprisoned and only allowed to be set free if he agreed to servitude. He and simba now serve Mechakara. Timon though refuses to leave simba behind and does everything he can to help simba out. Even if that means working incredibly hard and taking simba's duties.
Allies: Simba, Pumbaa, Kiara, Nala, Sarafina, Sarabi, ATG Army
Enemies: Scar, Zira, Nuka, Ed, Banzai, Shenzi
Plans: Bond with Simba, back him up, be a servant in his own way.
