Thread Six: Stuck In the Middle

[Kim Possible]

Kim coughed up dust as she stood up. She dusted off her clothes and looked around.

"Great. We've been separated." said Kim.

Kim glared at Shego.

"Or we could leave you here and come back after we find a way out." said Kim.

Jim dusted himself off and was shocked to see his indigo lantern ring gone.

"Great. They swiped my ring. It was a present from my boyfriend." said Jim.

He vowed to get it back. Sure it had some powers that helped protect him but it meant more because it came from Black Lantern Spoony. And in a way, he felt like he'd let him down by letting it get stolen. He had to get it back somehow. He paused seeing Kim and smiled.

"Guess we might as well work together. Different armies doesn't matter here if we get stuck here." said Jim.

When the two women began fighting he shook his head.

"If we waste time-fighting each other we'll never leave. We have to call a truce or we may all be stuck here." said Jim.

Shego frowned as she glanced at the pair.

"Great. Work with the son of two of the leaders of my enemy and my enemy from my home. I guess I could go and leave you two stranded. But Kim Possible owing me a favor could be a lot more fun." said Shego.

(OCC: I'm assuming by the end of this thread jim gets his ring back right? Hence why karai says what she says)

"Hmm. My tracker's not working but my assumption is that we're locked in some old mansion, maybe even one that's been abandoned for almost three centuries" Donny replied as Kim contemplated where they were and that they were separated. Donny didn't know how or why but he knew that he had to help kim and get out of this place. He was in his game mode, that was usually what happened when he was stuck somewhere. He then got his bo staff out as shego threatened to make kim owe her a favor "Hey watch it lady, you mess with kim you mess with me, got it?" He then listened as karai and John darling both scolded them and Donny calmed down a bit. He then replied with a annoyed sigh "I hate to say it kim but they're right. We don't have a choice"

He then turned to listen to karai. Say what you will about her loyalties, but she was great under pressure and knew how to handle a problem. Donny did admire that about her, now if only she left the shredder. But he nodded at her commands and replied "Not a bad idea karai, going left might be the only option anyway right now"

Karai turned to Jim, despite her confusion she felt a need to comfort him first and replied "Fear not. If our enemies are in this area, we will confront them and get your ring back" She then was about to get her sword out to defend jim and herself but then noticed kim. With a smile she replied "Ah, Kim, it has been a long time. It is good to see you dear" She then rolled her eyes at shego and kim's slight argument and replied "Jim is correct. Us arguing does the enemy's work for them. If we focus too much on fighting each other we will never escape. Put your differences aside please" 

She then got in front of Kim, John and Jim and replied "Donatello I suggest you come with me to the front to make sure none of the others are harmed and we move to the left"

"Wendy? Wendy?! Michael!? Where is everyone... Shego!" John didn't really know shego deeply but he knew she was a ally of his. Despite his fright he was determined to know what was going on. He replied "Shego, do you know where we are?" He then listened to Donatello talk and replied, bending down to the wood and nodding "The turtle's right. The floor hasn't been repaired in over a decade. I should know. My uncle is a carpenter" He then listened as karai made orders and replied calmly "Well working together usually gets the job done so I am in one hundred percent. Anything to find my sister and brother" He then got annoyed with shego and kim's debate and replied "Both of you stop that! That's not helpful!"

[Kim Possible]

Kim sighed.

"Fine. We all work together. We have actually worked together quite well we had to Shego. I hope this will be one of those times." said Kim.

When Karai suggested she and Donny went to the front she nodded.

"Then Shego and I will bring up the rear leaving the boys in the middle." said Kim.

She smiled at Karai.

"It's good to see you again too. We always seem to meet in crazy situations like this." said Kim.

Shego chuckled.

"A truce sounds good to me. My powers aren't working so we're kinda all stuck here." said Shego.

She turned seeing John and smiled.

"Hey, kid. I didn't expect to see you here. Your name was John, right? Just stay in the middle with Jim. You'll be safest there." said Shego.

Jim sighed knowing he could only do so much without his ring. The others were more experienced.

"Alright. I'll stay in the center. But if there's trouble don't expect me to run or hide. I'm not going to back down." said Jim.

As he got into the center he smiled at the boy. They may be opposite sides of the war but they didn't have to be enemies. At least not while they were stuck here.

[John Darling]

John nodded to Shego with a proud grin "Yes, I'm John. I was with my brother and sister not too long ago when this happened. Michael ran off and I went to find him only to end up here" As the conversation went on, he wasn't thrilled with being the weakest, but he was humble enough not to argue. He was a team player, especially when it came to areas he had no expertise in. He looked up to Jim, smiling softly back. He was aware of enemies but he was still a child. A child that really, overall, just wanted to be peaceful and friendly with anyone who was willing to be friendly with him. Jim, and most of the people here, didn't seem like bad people. He stuck close to Jim, nodding to Shego. He heard some noise and jolted, panicked due to the unknown. He forced his composure, replying gently "Perhaps we should try to avoid those noises?"

Karai smiled, pleased that the people around her were willing to comply and had egos that could be quelled with ease. Karai turned to Jim with a pleased grin, admiration in her tone "You'll make a fine leader with this brave attitude, Jim" Karai replied firmly "That said, I fully expect you to not act too boldly. Risking your life would be unwise. If you must stay, try to be smart about it" Karai sighed "We will find your ring, as well as a way out" Karai turned to Shego and Kim, nodding approval "Excellent, I am so pleased we're on all the same page" Karai chuckled as Kim pointed out the consistent meetups they had "Indeed, quite the coincidence. Still, I always enjoy seeing you" Karai turned to Donatello as noises became evident "Stay close, Donatello, something is amiss"

Donny sighed in relief as everyone quickly agreed to work together. Donny was also pleased they were organized, making sure Jim and John were in the middle as they were the weakest. Donny protectively got in front of John, replying concernedly "We need to search for clues as soon as possible" Donny heard noises and turned to John assuringly "Don't worry. Whatever is making those noises is probably far away. And if it comes near us, I doubt it can do that much damage" Donny looked around, walking forward "Still, whoever brought us here brought us here for a reason. No doubt to battle us, or go against our leaders maybe"
