Thread Three: This Is Getting Serious

[Ben Ravencroft]

Ben groaned as he looked around. He frowned and summoned a fireball. Or tried to as nothing happened.

"Something's messing around with my powers? But how?" asked Ben.

He hears a crash and laughs seeing Daphne.

"Well, well my dear. You've certainly fallen into the wrong trap this time." said Ben.

He shook his head.

"If I was I wouldn't have stranded myself here without magic or a way out." said Ben.

Daphne groaned as she got up. She heard that familiar laugh and taunt from Ben as she glared at him.

"You're behind this aren't you?" said Daphne.

Daphne frowned.

"So we're all stuck here?" asked Daphne.

Pete groaned as he got up spotting Ben and Daphne.

"Any idea where we are?" asked Pete, confused.

He paused not seeing any sign of his father or his allies.

"Where's everyone else?" asked Pete.

[Scooby Doo]

Scooby awoke near daphne and got excited at the sight of her "Raphne!" And he pounced on her, giving her a quick lick. But then he noticed Ben and immediately got into defense mode. He snarled at ben and replied "Reave rer alone, ren. Rim rot rafraid of rou" When it came to his friends, scooby DID have bravery, especially when he knew there was someone who was not to be trusted. Scooby then calmed down as both Simone and roman came to a understanding that they needed to work together. Scooby calmed down for the sake of getting out and helping daphne but scooby very obviously glared at ben, not afraid to show his distaste. He sniffed around and replied "Ry rink we should ro ris ray!"

Simone smirked as Ben noticed Daphne and Scooby. But unlike ben who wanted to taunt, simone wanted to get away from them as much as possible. She knew for a fact her cat-like powers are not open to her in this place now and she was vunerable. When vunerable, simone wanted to hide away. She then replied to scooby and harshly responded "Calm yourself you dumb dog. We're all stuck here. We appear to be at a standstill" She then listened to roman eventually come to the idea to work together and sighed "As much as I absolutely can't stand the blake girl and her obnoxious dog, you may have a point. We might have no choice" She then facepalmed at this "I definitely need a cup of coffee after this"

Roman grabbed his sword out and replied "Whoever is locking us here will pay!" He then charged only to collide with a wall hard. He then put his sword down and held his nose "Ah, sugar plum fairy! My nose!" He then huffed annoyedly before standing up and noticing a child, scooby doo with daphne along with some enemies. He then replied "Well fighting each other won't help and fighting this haunted place won't help. So maybe we find a way out... together?"

Daphne grinned petting Scooby and laughing.

"It's good to see you again Scooby." said Daphne.

When Scooby tried to protect her she smiled.

"He's no threat Scooby. Not while we're trapped here. Whatever trapped us is blocking his powers. And probably everyone else's. Which also means if any of our allies are here they're in the same boat we are. No powers, probably no technology. Just have to rely on our wits and each other." said Daphne.

She paused seeing Simone as well and glared.

"I guess you can't turn into a cat creature right?" asked Daphne.

She sighed.

"I guess we're stuck together. We might as well get this over with. We might find clues to who's behind this or at least a way out of this mess." said Daphne.

Ben glared seeing Scooby was here as well.

"Meddling pests!" said Ben.

When he saw Simone was here he relaxed a little and walked over to her.

"I'm glad to see you my dear. Stick close to me. I may not have my powers but I won't let anything happen to you. If you got hurt I kno w I'd have Lena and Jacques after me for sure." said Ben, half jokingly and half seriously.

He glanced at the rest of the group.

"Then we should get this show on the road. The faster we're out of here the better." said Ben.

Pete was nervous seeing all these strangers until he saw Scooby. He petted the dog feeling nervous.

"I'm glad I'm not alone here. I wish Elliot was here. We could probably have flown out of here by now ." said Pete.

He glanced at the others annoyed.

"Why do adults have to make things so complicated? Let's just find a way out of here. It can't be that hard." said Pete.

[Scooby Doo]

Scooby ignored Ben as Daphne spoke to him. Scooby noticed how human Simone looked and how.. normal Ben seemed to be. Scooby sneered to the two before deciding Daphne was right. Scooby nodded, replying "Rokay. Rif rou rink rit's rokay, ren ry do too" Scooby then wagged his tail, beaming at the sight of Pete. He always liked the boy. Pete reminded him of Shaggy when he was a child. Scooby allowed the boy to pet him, even licking the boy's face "Rete, rank roodness. Rou ray rose to rus. Rit's rot rafe ralone" He knew how powerful the boy's fathers were but Scooby wanted to protect Pete purely because he cared. It didn't really have anything to do with Malachite or Facilier. Scooby then listened as Roman and Simone both volunteered to find a way out. Scooby decided to be corgial and peaceful, purely for Daphne and Pete's sake.

Simone chuckled, pleased to see Ben here and also amused by his comments. Simone replied teasingly to his jokes "Please, Lena wouldn't harm you. She is too fond of your face" Simone smiled amusedly "Jacques I'm not so sure about" Simone squeezed his shoulder "All jokes aside, I'm very pleased to see you" Simone nodded, turning to Daphne "Your reporting skills are finally being put to use. No my powers are being repressed, my cat form is not available to me" Simone looked around, turning to Pete "The child is right. We need to find a exit"

Roman nodded to Daphne's words and Pete's. He looked around, replying "I think I can find a exit. It's a princes job to save the group after all" Roman looked around and saw a old door, leading to stairs "I think this can help us all. We should use all our skills to good use"
