Why did you pick him/her?: Because he's a bit fun to play and honestly I want to romance isabelle and gaston together.

Gaston is arrogant, conceited, rude and thick-minded, he's incredibly stubborn and ambitious. He will do whatever he can to get what he desires. He can be selfish at times, ignorant to other people's feelings. He's prideful, believing his way is sometimes the only way. However, he can and usually will adapt and can be surprisingly patient when he needs to be. He doesn't come across this way due to being impulsive and hot-tempered, but he's actually quite intelligent and clever. Once he cares about someone, he will do anything and everything for them, even risk his own life for the sake of that person's happiness. He does have a compassionate side, underneath all the ego there is a sweet side and he does have immense loyalty. Once he knows he is in the wrong, he will admit it and go out of his way to change especially to get himself and the people he cares about benefits. He's brave, very outgoing and energetic, he can have fun and does light up the room when he wants to. He is charming and uses this normally to his advantage, usually wanting to avoid using violence but can and will if he feels it absolutely needed.
History:
Gaston was born in a small town French village, his mother a baker and his father a well-known hunter. He was very close with his father when he was a child, wanting to be just like him, in fact the reason he hunts so much is because of his father. However his father grew very ill when Gaston was around ten to eleven years old and passed away. His mother was so busy at the bakery, gaston was somewhat left to his own devices and didn't really have a lot of guidance growing up. He was somewhat spoiled by his mother, basically allowed to do what he wished as long as he didn't commit any bad crimes. Gaston got under the radar, but if he got into deep trouble he usually worked up his charm. As the years went on he became a hunter, a competitive hunter to be specific. He made a name for himself, getting the praises and respect of the village. Men wanted to be him and women wanted him. He however was so focused on his fame he didn't see himself getting with anyone just yet. Then he met belle.
Belle was just... beautiful. She was someone who just had a difference about her. He pursued her to marry him. He thought she would accept him like everyone else did. Which made it shocking when she said no. Shocked by her refusal, he thought it was just nerves and tried again, she was even more insistent on no. He was upset and sulked in the tavern for hours. Then Maurice came, frantic about belle being locked away in a dungeon thanks to a beast. Of course gaston didn't believe it but he thought he could use Maurice to his advantage. He went to a very good friend of his D'Arque and asked for his help to put Maurice in a asylum and release him when belle agreed to marry him. Sure it was extreme but gaston felt a bit desperate. So he waited until the both of them returned and released his plan. He was shocked that belle came back with proof that Maurice wasn't lying or crazy, if anything he was telling the truth that there was a beast that locked them away. Gaston found the creature dangerous and persued to kill it, but the beast overwhelmed him and was about to kill him. Gaston begged for his life and was spared. But gaston felt it was wrong to let this dangerous monster roam free and then risked his life to kill him.
He then fell from a great height and it went all black. All so dark. He then awoke in a brand new modern world, called Chicago and for a small time realized he just DIED. It kind of put him to perspective. This girl, Belle, genuinely was so against him it cost him his life. She and the beast hated him that much. Well, if she didn't love him, then so be it. If he couldn't be her husband, he would be her enemy. Then as he came to a place called Ask Thatguy, he noticed familiar faces. One of them isabelle, one of the triplets that persued him endlessly. He knew her name out of the three and for some reason, despite his persuing of belle found himself always casting a second glance at her when he could. He realized her deeds for him and realized maybe instead of belle he should've persued, it was her. So he is trying to get a second chance at life and maybe try with someone else. Oh and defeat Belle since rumors of her being here were piling up.
