Brand New Plan

[Douglas Plantagenet]

(OCC: January 10th, afternoon. Just felt like fleshing out the hero kids some more and give another second generation thread a go)

Douglas and Shirley were waiting for the kids that were in school to come back home to make a plan. Douglas and Shirley were just out of school. Shirley graduated early due to her intelligence and douglas graduated due to a school program and both struggling to get jobs. But they were lucky enough to help with their parents in the war. But their parents were being passive due to certain lack of awareness of their enemies. So douglas and shirley thought maybe they would have a meeting of their own.

"School takes forever I guess. What's taking the others so long?" Douglas pondered

"Well a lot of things, the bus, their bikes whatever" Shirley replied.

Suddenly the two noticed alicia, elisa and darla race to the room. Darla replied worriedly "Are we late? Sorry!"

"Blame our stupid spanish teacher. She was a harpy today" Alicia commented

"Yeah I swear she gets meaner with every passing day" Elisa commented

"Good you three are here. Now we must wait for the others" Douglas replied

[Joseph Vargas]

Johnathan grinned as he arrived. He walked in pulling Douglas into a quick kiss with a grin. It had only been a few days since their date. He then realized he wasn't alone and blushed slightly.

"Uh hi Shirley." said Johnathan.

It wasn't like a secret they were together. He wouldn't be surprised if the whole army knew by now. He had asked a lot of people to help for the date. He turned back to Douglas with a grin.

"Hi." said Johnathan.

He blushed at Olina's words turning to her.

"I guess we were pretty oblivious." said Johnathan.

Olina walked in next surprised to see the kiss and chuckled.

"It's about time. I was tempted to lock you in the closet if you two didn't get together soon." said Olina.

Bucky, Joseph, Kyle and Howard run in after the others all getting off the bus. They set their backpacks in the rooms before joining the others.

"There was no practice today so I was able to make it to this one." said Joseph.

"Sorry if we ran a little late. But we can get started. Unless we're waiting for anyone else." said Kyle.

He glanced at the others and probably stared too long at elisa before looking away.

[Alicia Antwiler]

"I will give a few more minutes because vanelope, peggy, and frank promised to come in too" Douglas replied patiently. He then beamed at the sight of Johnathan and kissed back before blushing at olina and frank's observations. He blushed more as Johnathan admitted they were being a bit obvious. He chuckled "I guess everyone could see it" Douglas then smiled as peggy and vanelope showed up. "Just a couple minutes to check if anyone else will come in then we shall start" Douglas replied. He then shook his head as frank brought Arthur and james, smiling a bit as the two younger boys came along.

Shirley was about to make a slight joke herself but then blushed at the sight of olina. She tried her absolute best not to blow her cover as the two were trying to keep a low profile for the moment but her smile widened at the sight of olina. Elisa gave a look of suspicion for her and Shirley covered it up by replying "My brother Watson said he has to stay behind to work on a special project so he will not being joining us, at least I do not think" Shirley replied. She then turned to smile at the others arriving. She then replied to Frank "I don't really mind at all. They would probably need to come to a meeting anyway"

"Psst. Elisa, I think kyle likes you" Alicia said snickering as she whispered to elisa, Alicia was someone who could sniff out if a guy liked somebody right away. She was not stupid. She then sighed as douglas said to wait a little bit. She hoped deep down her brother would come by but he was a bit avoidant still, holding a grudge against their parents for not telling them this in the first place. Alicia felt her brother seriously needed to get over it. She then joked to Shirley "Of course your brother's at school still. Nerd that he is" She chuckled. She then sighed annoyedly as james and Arthur came "Just as long as the wonder twins don't be annoying today. I already had enough from my Spanish teacher" She replied

Elisa turned at Alicia's suggestion and couldn't help but blush as kyle looked at her. She tried to cover up her natural flattery by making a joke "Hey take a picture it'll last longer kyle" She giggled, this caused Darla to laugh a bit herself. Elisa then replied to Johnathan "Obvious? To say the least john, if it weren't for the fact you guys finally tied the knot I was going to make you guys get a room myself!" She then waited as vanelope and frank entered along with Arthur and james.

"Man I'm so glad you finally let us come to the meeting frank you're the best cousin ever" Arthur replied

"Not only that he's the best big bro ever! Well next to eli" James replied

"I told you the only reason I agreed is that you two promised to be quiet. You can't go nuts in here. Meetings are serious alright?" Frank replied as he entered with his little brother. "Hope you guys don't mind if james and Arthur joins us. James has been begging for a chance and uncle linkara made me bring Arthur. They'll behave themselves, right?" Frank gave a expectant look to Arthur who crossed his heart and nodded enthusiastically at frank.

James saluted in response "Yes sir. You won't hear a word from us!"

Darla meanwhile focused a bit on joseph before blushing, hoping he didn't notice her look at him. She then turned to Shirley and douglas and felt relieved they were in charge and not her. Everyone at first expected her to take charge considering she was the leader's daughter but she never really found herself to be the leader. If anything the idea of leading terrified her. She hated failure. And she didn't want to let any of her family and friends down. So she gave the leadership to Shirley who in turn asked for a couple partners which turned out to be douglas and her brother Watson. Darla got a bit anxious and replied "Ok can we start now? I want to get this started"

[Joseph Vargas]

Johnathan nodded.

"Well we can always catch anyone up who comes late." said Johnathan.

He grinned.

"Everyone but us. I can't believe I was that dense. Who knew it'd take some spilled coffee to get us together?" said Johnathan.

Johnathan chuckled at Olina's words.

"I couldn't smell anything but coffee for days even after I took a shower. The smell finally went away though." said Johnathan.

Olina raised an eyebrow.

"Coffee was what it took to get you together? I'd have dropped a bucket on you if I'd known." said Olina.

Olina grinned.

"I'm sure it did." said Olina.

She tried not to glance at Shirley knowing that'd be too obvious but found herself laughing as others were teasing Kyle for looking.

"Or he could just ask you out and get it over with." said Olina.

When Kyle ran from the room she heard Howard's words and sighed. She also felt guilty and a bit of hypcorite since she and Shirley were dating in secret.

"I guess I put my foot in my mouth this time." said Olina.

Bucky grinned.

"I think Frank was right. I guess we should probably start letting in more of the younger kids. At least to let them know what's going on. I know we were kept out of the war for a long part of it and kids before us when it first started. But putting kids in the dark can backfire. If they think they're not being trusted or go off on their own to prove themselves.' said Bucky.

Bucky blushed as he probably had bit more of his father in him than his mother, as he'd tried an attack himself and it hadn't gone that well. He'd been lucky to make it back in one piece.

Howard smirked.

"Speaking from experience eh Buck?" asked Howard.

He grinned at Olina's words.

"Finally somebody said it." said Bucky.

When Kyle bolted his smile fell as he looked down.

"Kyle! Wait! I'm sorry!" said Howard.

He hadn't meant to make him feel bad. He hoped this would have just gotten them together.

Kyle blushed realizing he'd been caught as Elisa made a joke but when Olina and Howard practically outed him he blushed further. And ran from the room into the nearby kitchen feeling like everyone was laughing at him.

"Great. Now she knows and she's not going to go out with me. I knew I should have just stayed in bed today." said Kyle.

Joseph had seen Darla look at him but he looked away. When Olina and Howard and Elisa had teased Kyle he'd run off into the kitchen and he sighed.

"Not a great start for a meeting is it." said Joseph.
