(ooc: June 14th. Evening.)
Grimhilde was nervous. It had been over 3 and a half months since they'd been rescued and ended up together. She barely even got to see her for very long. There was always training, missions, or inventing. True they didn't have many magical members of the army compared to the others but she was one of the few experts at potions. But she had missed Ace. So she'd talked the others into going out for the day. They had all gone out for the day. Some at Roses's house, some in the woods, and others had gone off into town. She couldn't get the house free for the whole night but a few hours would be good enough. She knew they both needed this and she still felt honored Ace loved her at all. She was no longer the villain she once was. She was far from being all nice and good like most people here. But she'd lost her "evil edge" but she was okay with it. She'd made many friends here and she still had Ace. She'd arranged this dinner with help from Jasmine, Gene, and a few others.
She was nervous sitting on the back porch waiting for her. She knew Ace had been kept busy with some of the others training with her or just having fun keeping her from the place. She owed it to her friends for helping her but Ace was likely returning alone and she was waiting for her. A note had been left on the front porch telling Ace to come around to the back. She just hoped she didn't come back too late. Even a half hour with her would be better than nothing.
It had been a long time. A very long time. Ace hadn't spent really good time with grimhilde for so long. Training, work, things had just kept them apart. Ace was ashamed by it. But she couldn't help it. She was so focused on training and her work. But she wanted to make it up to the queen. She was about to try to find the queen today when jasmine, gene and a few others required her for training. Once training was supposed to be done, jasmine insisted ace help her with her clothes. A weird thing for jasmine to do. It was almost like she was trying to distract her.
Ace eventually, and finally, headed back to the house. A note on the porch though caught her eye and she read it. Come around the back. There's a surprise. Love, your queen Ace beamed a bit at the signature and then raced to the back. Hoping whatever the surprise was she wasn't late for it. She raced to see her queen and gave her a hug "Grimhilde!" She then replied "I'm sorry if I'm late. Super sorry. Jasmine was up to my neck. What's the surprise? I bet it'll be fantastic"

Grimhilde smiled seeing her come and hugged her. Grimhilde hugged her back and gave her a kiss. It ended up longer than she planned but she'd missed this. She let go panting to catch her breath, blushing a little.
"Sorry. I couldn't help myself. It's been too long since we've been alone like this." said Grimhilde.
She paused with a chuckle.
"Well, they were helping keep you busy while I got things ready here. It's not much and Brock, Mrs. Potts and some others help me cook a meal for us out here by candlelight. I know it's not a fancy restaurant but we have the house to ourselves for a few hours. And I just want to spend the evening with you. If that's alright." said Grimhilde.
Ace had no trouble when grimhilde kissed her. It felt longer and it was no doubt longer but ace wasn't concerned. They needed this. It had been a long time. Ace blushed before smirking to grimhilde "Are you kidding? I've been wanting to do that since I found you" She laughed a little before allowing grimhilde to explain that it was a nice candlelight dinner. Just the two of them for a few hours. Ace smiled, completely flattered. She knew that grimhilde was changed since ever coming here. Her past self probably wouldn't have been so thoughtful. Because of that ace smiled even more, knowing she was doing this from the heart. Ace hugged her again, kissing her softly "Aw. Grimhilde. That's perfect. That sounds like the best thing ever" She then replied, smirking jokingly "Besides, I'm starving"

Grimhilde smiled.
"Good. I'm just sorry it's been too long. We've let this war keep us busy. I know we're not the only couple who has. We need to do something like schedule date nights even if we have to double or group date. We deserve time to relax and be together." said Grimhilde.
She nodded as Ace said she liked it and she was starving.
"Then dig in. And I promise no poisoned apples." said Grimhilde, teasing her.
"It's real alright grimhilde, I get it. War does that to people" Ace replied sincerely. It was true war did distract them both due to being such a high demand for attention. She understood where grimhilde was coming from and was willing to make up for lost time. She nodded in agreement "We can make a schedule for all of us. We'll work it out" She then smirked bemusedly "We can always just sneak away to Hawaii for a day or two. We'd have to steal a lab thing from the scientists to teleport but we could get away with it" She smiled more to indicate she was joking. But she wouldn't be displeased if grimhilde agreed.
She then smiled a bit more as grimhilde joked with her and ace laughed "Oh good. But I had a feeling nothing was poisoned anyway" She then saw their meal and smiled delightfully. She then saw the food and table allowing grimhilde to sit near her. She then took a bite and smiled widely "Oooh. This is amazing. Yum. This is way better than fancy pancy food"

Grimhilde sighed.
"I know but it shouldn't have gone this far. We spent more time together locked in those cells those few days than free and that feels wrong." said Grimhilde.
She nodded.
"I'd like that. Any time with you is better than waiting months again." said Grimhilde.
She chuckled.
"I like the way you think. And well Hawaii seems to be a popular vacation spot here. If we really wanted to get away for a day or two probably should pick somewhere we could disappear for a while. So even if they figured out where we went it'd be harder for them to track us down." said Grimhilde.
Grimhilde nodded.
"I wouldn't dream of poisoning you. The other armies maybe but not you." said Grimhilde.
She grinned.
"I wish I could cook like this but my skills were in potion-making. I guess being a queen I've always had someone cook for me." said Grimhilde.
