The Prince and The Billionaire (Roman)

[Batman/Bruce Wayne]

(ooc: June 11th. Afternoon.)

It had been a week since Bruce had met Rosalee and the very handsome prince. The meeting hadn't been as long as he'd hoped but he'd become quite smitten with the prince. But he hadn't seen him much the past week but it wasn't like he was looking for him. Between training and working on new gadgets, he had been pretty busy. He had eventually gone to others for help including the few royal members in the army. He needed help with a gift. He wasn't sure what to get someone who'd probably had a lot of gifts being a prince. He wanted to get him something special and a sign he wanted to try to court him. He just didn't know the customs of the prince. He didn't want to insult him by accident but he was encouraged to give him a gift from his heart and ask him.

He was so nervous. He'd dated plenty of women before and even a few men in secret. But it had never lasted beyond a few dates. This was someone he could see a future with. At least he'd thought of one and they'd only had one conversation together. He brought a gift of wine and chocolates to the prince's door hoping they were the right gift. He was dress less formally wearing only a gray T-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of black sandals. He found Roman's door and knocked on it.

"Roman? Are you in? I was hoping you'd do me the honor of courting you." said Bruce.

He paused with a sigh.

"Unless you're already seeing someone. I don't even know if you're single. Maybe this was a bad idea." said Bruce.

He paused starting to walk away until he heard the door open a creak as he turned looking back to hopefully see Roman coming out.

Roman was supposed to be the romantic one. The one who was the master of relationships. Yet he was nervous and shy towards bruce wayne. He, if anything, would always panic and run the other way if he noticed bruce anywhere. Not that bruce noticed, he was always so hard-working and busy. Roman hated how cowardly and hypocritical he became ever since he became his own person. He was not hypocritical in the creativity and royal/knight behavior department, but when it came to romance roman had actually became a shell of his former self. And yet he nailed it just fine with others' relationships, he was great helping out patton with iron liz.

But that's the thing maybe. He knew how to woo women. But not men. Not that roman was straight, far from it. Roman identified and knew he was pansexual, it was just maybe he was less nervous with women than he was with men. Again roman loved men, but he didn't know how to impress them romantically like he did with women. Patton was definitely pansexual also, the man loved and adored all types of people, he was a ball of sunshine and affection. Logan was definitely bisexual, though in roman's opinion logan had no game and if it weren't for the fact logan had affectionate analogies for both men and women he would've assumed logan was asexual. As for virgil, virgil was definitely gay, virgil had no interest in women, men usually made virgil more open to talk about romance.

Roman basically, had no idea how to be a good partner to bruce particularly. And yet he really, really wanted to be bruce's significant other. It was just scary to confront bruce. He was so attractive, and amazing, and strong and heroic, and here roman was.. a has been compared to freaking batman. Roman felt a bit inferior and unworthy, he avoided bruce for two reasons: He didn't know how to not scare bruce off and he was worried bruce was not interested. But roman just couldn't stop thinking about bruce. How much he adored the batman. How much he wanted to be with him. How bruce was the man he was constantly dreaming about, constantly thinking about. Physically and personality wise, bruce was everything roman wanted.

Suddenly as roman was thinking this to himself, a knock was at his door. Before he could ask, it turned out to be the very man roman was hopelessly in a crush with. Roman was about to dress in his normal prince attire, as of the moment he was in blue jeans and a white shirt with his red and golden royal crest in the smack middle front of said shirt. But then bruce said the thing he never could ever possibly imagine bruce would say

"Roman? Are you in? I was hoping you'd do me the honor of courting you. Unless you're already seeing someone. I don't even know if you're single. Maybe this was a bad idea"

Roman was shocked but he was NOT going to let bruce go now. He would worry about all his insecurities in just a moment. Right now he had to get bruce while he still had him. Roman practically screamed out "NO! Wait! Wait a minute!" He rushed and opened the door as quickly as he saw bruce in a position that looked like he was just about to walk away. Roman was woefully unprepared, his hair was a bit disheveled, he had no show makeup on to make his face look prettier(hence the tiny pimple on his chin) and he had the forementioned royal crest t-shirt with blue jeans. But he didn't care right now. He didn't want to lose this chance with bruce. So he was willing to risk the ugliness. Roman, as he fixed up all his hair, replied insistently "Of course I want to be courted by you. I would be a complete fool if I said no. Yes, yes of course I want to be with you!" He wasn't prepared dear lord he wasn't prepared but all he was thinking about was saying yes to bruce. Because bruce was single and so was roman, and roman was not willing to mingle with anyone else but this man. He didn't even notice the wine and chocolates yet, too focused on getting bruce to stay. He even pulled bruce close to him, holding onto his hand insistently.

Bruce was surprised as he heard a no before the door swung open.

"No?" asked Bruce, trying not to sound sad.

But then he was shocked as Roman spoke saying he did want this.

"You want to be courted by me?" asked Bruce, with a grin.

When Roman took his hand Bruce handed the wine and chocolate over to him.

"I got you these. I wasn't sure if you'd like them. I mean you're a prince. You've probably gotten plenty of gifts over the years." said Bruce.

"I meant no as in no don't go" Roman defended a little, blushing in embarrassment "Sorry got scared you were gonna leave" He then pulled bruce closer, wanting to be as near to bruce as possible now. Excited he was here, roman just couldn't help but smile. He nodded insistently "Yes. I want to be courted by you. I would love us to be together, truly" He then gasped a little as he got wine and chocolates. Two of his favorite things. He turned to bruce who claimed he wouldn't like these, since they were simple gifts. Roman may have been a prince but he hadn't really been courted by a lot of people. And those who courted him didn't really get him gifts. He expressed delightfully "You would think but no. I never got gifts. But even if I did I would say these are the best gifts anyway. I love chocolates. You really are the sweetest"

He then hesitated and then replied, shyly, for the first time in his life he was nervous. He looked to bruce and replied softly "Would you mind if I thanked you with a kiss?"

Bruce smiled.

"I see." said Bruce.

When Roman pulled him closer he grinned.

"I'm glad to hear that. I admit I've dated before but mostly was to keep up appearances. I didn't want people to figure out I was Batman in my world. But everyone knows who I am here. So for once, I can date because I want to. And I really want to." said Bruce.

His grin grew as Roman was surprised by the gifts and took them.

"You really like them?" asked Bruce, nervous.

Bruce chuckled.

"I was hoping you would." said Bruce.

Roman was relieved Bruce was staying put. He didn't want to lose this chance and was relieved bruce was dating him to be with him. That bruce wanted to date him because he wanted to, not because of pressure or anything related to that. Roman felt absolutely happy that bruce wanted him for him. Roman then nodded, his gaze towards bruce affectionate and sincere "I do. I love them. I love them more though because they're from you" He then smiled softly as bruce gave him consent to kiss. Roman pulled bruce close to him and tenderly gave him a kiss. He pulled bruce close, his arms pulling bruce closer. After a small while, roman pulled back and replied softly "I hope that shows how grateful I am"

He then took the gifts and replied to bruce "Would you like to share some wine with me? It shouldn't go to waste after all. And I would actually think it would be nice to share my gifts with my thoughtful boyfriend"

Bruce smiled.

"I'm glad you liked them. I spent hours trying to figure out what to get you. Even asked some of the others for ideas. And in the end, I went with wine and chocolate." said Bruce.

Bruce smile as Bruce gave him a kiss as Bruce returned it eagerly wrapping his arms around Roman. When Roman pulled back he smiled.

"I'm not sure. Maybe I need more convincing." said Bruce.

He then chuckled showing he was teasing and grinned.

"Definitely the best kiss I've ever had." said Bruce.

He nodded.

"I'd love to. I forgot to bring glasses but I'm sure there's some in the kitchen. Unless you want to just drink from the bottle." said Bruce.

"Wine and chocolate is the best way to go" Roman replied with delight. He really did appreciate the gift, he was the type of romantic that appreciated gift-giving anyway. Contrary to the belief, due to his diva-like behavior, Roman was pretty gracious and grateful with the simple things. Roman then got a little stunned as Bruce teased him, only to acknowledge that the kiss he received was the best he had. Roman replied playfully "Well you can always have another kiss of gratitude later"

He then laughed a little "You sly dog, getting me drunk already? Naughty" He took Bruce's hand and replied "I'll get us some glasses. We'll have some then we'll see where the day takes us. Maybe I can take you to a walk in the park. Maybe have a little fun dance with you?" Roman then gave a big, loving smile replying "I don't care what we do, so long as I'm with you" He then pulled Bruce more downstairs, taking his hand as he held the wine and box of chocolate in his other arm.

Bruce grinned.

"Great. I'm glad you liked it." said Bruce.

He chuckled.

"Well that's gratitude I could never tire of." said Bruce.

He grinned.

"I probably won't drink too much. I'm not a lightweight but I want to remember every moment of this." said Bruce.

He paused following him downstairs into the kitchen.

"A walk sounds nice. And dancing. Although I'm sure I'll probably have to fight off any admirers that may come your way. You just seem to light up the room when you come in." said Bruce.

He paused and blushed slightly before he speaks again.

"I have a confession. I was jealous at first seeing you and Patton together. For awhile I thought you were dating with how close you were. Until I learned you're more like brothers." said Bruce.

He paused checking the fridge and grinning.

"They're done. Mrs. Potts made some rolls for us if you're hungry. I asked Patton if you liked anything.He mentioned chocolates and Raspberry Jam. So I hope you like it. I kind of stocked up on some." said Bruce.

Bruce opens one of the bottom drawers revealing it's full of raspberry jam and blushes again.

"I guess I went a tad overboard." said Bruce.
