(OCC: June 5th, early afternoon. Kovu and Kiara bonding thread)
Kiara personally invited kovu outside the roses' residence so they could explore without danger nearing them. Despite villains being somewhat aware of a safehouse, roses house was never really truly discovered by many villains yet. Kiara was convinced they would never find it. So exploring was perfectly fine. She hoped Kovu would accept her invitation. She hoped kovu would spend time with her finally alone. Not in a group. Alone. Together. She enjoyed his company very much and didn't want to lose that spark. She turned to see kovu and replied happily "Hey! You came!"
Kovu watched her with a smile as he listened to her and nodded to that. "I did, as there is no way I would not come. As you are worth it! For me, that is, " he said to her. Kovu looked around and back at her. " So, whrte do we go? Left or right or in circles around each other? Or elsewhere? You choose, " he said to her with a smile as he ended up falling over and hitting something hard but then he got up and giggled as well as laughed. Ironically he was fine and actually liked it. "Alright, that was interesting but fun. I want to do it again but I don't think you would want to that, so you pick what we do, " Kovu said to her and waited for a reply curiously. He didn't care what they did, as long as they did that together. That was for sure.
Kiara couldn't help but blush. Kovu just admitted to her that she was worth everything to him. For a young cub, that was the nicest thing any other cub could say. Pretty sure that would apply for adults but for kids, it felt like something way too important to not say insincerely. Kiara turned her head "Well I was gonna check over there---" She then got concerned as he hit but smiled in relief to see that he was fine. Still, she went closer to him and replied "Yeah that looked pretty serious but glad you got up on your feet" She then looked over to the tunnel nearby them and replied "Because I wanna go in there. Roses said it's too dangerous but I think she said that because she doesn't really wanna know what's inside there. I say we sneak in and be quick. What do you say?" Kiara looked at kovu with mischief in her eyes. She was the most rebellious one out of the children. She had a spirit very much like her father's. Much as she didn't want to admit it.
Kovu watched her as he blushed too. Kiara mattered to him more than most, even more than his mother, more than his parents, more than those loyal to his parents, no matter what. Kovu looked around and back at her as he listened as she spoke again but the he fell only to get up and react the way that he did. He looked at her as he listened to her and sighed. "It was but I wasn't harmed, I am not in pain, so there no harm." He said to her as he followed where she looked and back at her, as he listened to her Kovu watched her and the look on her face, as he nudged her gently. He then circled her a few times, and after that he stood by her. " Let's do that, sounds like fun. I am so in that I am super in, when we go there to explore?" Kovu said as he slipped slided and this time moved over the thing he hit into before and fell upside as he twirled around but this time he coldn't get up. "It was fun but now now I am stuck," he said as he wiggled his feet in the air.
Kiara was relieved kovu was fine. If he was hurt she would've felt more terrible than normal. She then beamed as kovu expressed evident interest in her idea. They were about to enter when kovu got stuck on the very thing that harmed him. She quickly pulled him out "Don't worry kovu. I'll pull you out. Then we'll get deep into the tunnel. This adventure is just getting started" She then tugged him tightly pulling him out. She then replied "Race you inside!" She then lunged into the tunnel, giggling with delight.
Kovu himself was glad that he was fine himself but feared that things might have turned worse but he was glad that it didn't. He was always glad that he was fine but freaked out when he was but he tried not to think about that as he watched her. Kovu defintely liked her idea as soon as he heard what it was as it was definitely briliant or so he thought as well as believed, that was for sure. He was very excited until he got stuck and then he grunted and complained. That so wasn't the plan, that much he knew for sure. Kovu heard what she said and was grateful but hoped that it would be soon. He let her help him as he sighed and smiled grateful that she saved him. He tried to follow her but he ended up falling on a rock or such inside the tunnel and laid on his back, as he eventually turned himself over and followed after her deeper into the tunnel. "Kiara, I think I found a treasure, or on second thought I think it's poop or something, that's so nasty and gross," Kovu said and sighed to that.
Kiara was about to continue racing until she heard kovu once again trip into the tunnel. She justified it by it being a bit dark. She raced back and noticed that kovu said he stepped in something and she took a small sniff and covered her nose. Kovu was right. It was a bit of gross poop. From what it came from the princess didn't know. She tried to pull him away and then noticed a slight glow from further into the tunnel and replied "Hey I think there might be something other than poop here. Hopefully a stream so your paw can be cleaned. Come on!" She then walked over to indeed see a stream but it wasn't what was the origin of the glow. But for now she would settle here "Oh there is a stream here?" She then cautiously licked the water and replied "Huh. It's just water. Weird"
