On The Hunt (Open)

(ooc: June 8th. Morning.)

Thomas walked around the circus. He'd thought he'd spotted Toulouse here a few times but he'd always been unable to find him. Or been proven wrong by it being another animal or just a stuffed animal.

"Toulouse! Where are you! It's me! Your father! Thomas O'Malley!" said Thomas.

He paused stopping to rest as he lowered his head.

"I'm sorry Duchess. I couldn't find him and now I don't even know how to get home to you, Marie and Berlioz." whispered Thomas, feeling like a complete failure.

He lay down closing his eyes as a stray tear went down his cheek. He opened his eyes seeing a talking stuffed bear.

"A talking toy. That's it. I've finally gone crazy." said Thomas.

Teddy grinned as he walked through. He heard a voice as he walked up spotting an exhausted-looking cat calling for Toulouse.

"Are you looking for Toulouse? He's here." said Teddy.

Fat Cat walked out next.

"You're not crazy. He's a living toy possessed by a demon. Long story." said Fat Cat.

Galen slithered out next smiling. He pet the tired cat before he could move.

"Do be afraid. I won't harm you. I am a naga, half human and half snake. We are all friends here in this army." said Galen.

[Darkiplier]

(OCC: Felt it was best to not only introduce my new characters but also finally bring darkiplier in here, so that's why Facilier and alucard once again are here. Also I was thinking toulouse and oliver both be really close with bagheera. Like toulouse loves thomas but he also still be close with bagheera. Also oliver needs more friendships with cats as opposed to dogs lmao. Like they both look to him as a brother/uncle figure, if you're open to it that is. Also fat cat should be buddies with oliver for sure, cause it'd be kind of cute for fat cat to go soft on oliver since fat cat was rich and oliver was too)

"Did somebody say my name I keep hearing somebody...." Toulouse was talking until he noticed his step-father, or well his dad in his eyes, outside with a bunch of people introduce him to the area. As Facilier welcomed everyone Toulouse was only focused on his father being here at last. Toulouse raced out and practically pounced on his father "Dad! Dad I can't believe you're here! I'm so happy to see you!" The orange kitten immediately nuzzled up to the cat, shocked and pleased to see him. "How'd you get here? Where's mama?! Where's marie?! Where's berlioz?!"

Facilier came not long after and petted the cat also. But then he noticed three children, a dog, another kitten and... a clearly otherworldly creature. Facilier turned to alucard and replied "Alu, do me a solid and keep him at bay and see what he wants. He clearly keeps looking over here for something" He wasn't sure what to do with the creature but he didn't want to scare the children or the animals off. He hoped malachite or at least rita would come over to see him. However his attention was thwarted by the children and he smiled big and warmly at them "Well hello there kiddos. Welcome to facilier's home, you're definitely safe here there's nothing to worry about at all. Please you all must be tired, come right in I insist"

Alucard smirked as Darkiplier kept at bay and watched them from afar, and when facilier asked him to check darkiplier the vampire was all too happy to do it. He went over to darkiplier and replied "Is there a reason you're sitting here stalking us or are you just easily amused?" When Darkiplier gave him an answer alucard chuckled "Hm. It's very clear you're older than you appear. And much more sinister. I admire that. I am alucard. What do you call yourself?"

Darkiplier kept a distance. He wanted to allow the group to not notice him for a while, but he did notice alucard and facilier spot him. It was his intention to not be overall the focus but to be noticed by facilier and alucard meant they were somewhat immune to his camouflage which bothered and amused him at the same time. He then saw alucard come over and ask him why he was watching he replied "I simply wish to know what I'm dealing with should I decide to join you. It doesn't appear too much to handle" He then smiled as alucard asked for his name and Darkiplier smirked back replying "They call me darkiplier"

Wendy held onto michael as John lead them "Come on. Shouldn't be too far now. The man told me the circus was right here" John then noticed the group and was amazed by Galen especially and replied "Incredible! This establishment is incredible!" Wendy though was quiet and a bit suspicious than her brother was and looked at them carefully, holding michael close to her protectively. John though smiled "I am john, this is my sister wendy and my little brother michael. We're looking for a place to stay"

"Hi!" Michael waved happily, beaming brightly at the group. Wendy though was nervous but she didn't want to be too rude so she nodded in greeting. John replied "Forgive my sister she's anxious we've been walking for a while"

Oliver and dodger both stuck together, and appeared before everyone with haste and caution. Dodger replied cautiously "Stick close with me kid ok? We never know what we might run into" He then widened his eyes at teddy as he spoke "Well I'll be a hot dog. That toy just talked by itself?" Dodger pulled oliver close to him as the group came by "I'm dodger. This is my pal oliver. We're lost can ya help us?"

Oliver stuck very close to dodger and looked nervously at the group. He did smile at fat cat though, cats and dogs were what he was used to. The rest was a bit scary to him, especially teddy who talked without a control or plug in. That was strange.

(ooc: Was just thinking Fat cat and Bagheera could bond with the younger characters. xD)

Thomas finally saw Toulouse and nuzzled him back. He wrapped his arms around him the closest he could to a cat hug.

"We were so worried about you. When you disappeared... I thought maybe you didn't want me as a father. Maybe you missed your old one." said Thomas.

He couldn't be sure but with how different the three cats looked he wondered if the kids had different fathers. Marie was white like her mother but Berlioz was darker and Toulouse had orange fur. He didn't want to insult Duchess by asking her so he just left the cats, previous parents, unanswered. Often he was mistaken for Toulouse's father and after awhile he didn't bother correcting anyone. He was his father, just not his only father.

"I think everyone else is still back home. I'm just glad you're alright." said Thomas.

Fat Cat watched the reunion and smiled.

"What a touching reunion. Makes me miss my own father. Or I guess I wish I had one." said Fat Cat.

He'd been taken from his family so young and adopted by the mob family. He'd grown up there but then the family had been arrested. And he'd been forced to fend for himself with his gang to keep the lifestyle he'd been accustomed to. If those pesky Rescue Rangers didn't keep getting in his way. Now he had this army and it was a lot better than his old henchmen had been tha t's for sure. He still missed those knuckleheads and hoped they were alright.

He spotted the 3 Dar4lring children and grinned.

"Hello, kids. You three are welcome to stay here." said Fat Cat.

Teddy glanced at the cat and dog.

"Well, animals don't usually talk either. But you don't see me acting all surprised." said Teddy.

He smiled at the pair of animals.

"Well, you're welcome to join us. There's a war going on between three armies. This circus has a host of animals, humans and well other creatures like myself." said Teddy.

Galen watched them for a moment before spotting Alucard and Facilier off to the side with someone else. Curious he slithered over to the group.

"Well hello there. It seems we have another new recruit. Welcome. I am Galen, a naga." said Galen.[/div

[Toulouse]

Toulouse smiled, embracing as best as he could with Thomas. He then widened his eyes as Thomas explained he was worried since he disappeared and assumed he ran away to find his old dad. While Toulouse did miss his old dad, he loved Thomas immensely and didn't ever really think about replacing Thomas with anyone. He dared even believe that Thomas was pretty much his dad anyway. Toulouse replied, somewhat surprised "What? No way I love you as my dad. I mean, yea, I miss my other dad but you're my dad too. I missed you lots. I missed mama, berlioz and even marie too" He then nodded as Thomas explained they were home while he was here with Toulouse. While he was a bit disappointed he was relieved his dad was here. He replied "I'm glad to see you dad. You'll like it here. It's a circus!"

The Darling Children meanwhile were focused on Facilier and Fat Cat. John, Wendy nor Michael knew how to respond to fat cat's comment about fatherhood but all three smiled as fat cat and Facilier greeted them. Wendy replied to them "My brothers and I hope this place is a safe place. Sorry if I'm a bit nervous this place is new to me" She then felt less nervous as Facilier assured her that she, and her brothers, would be safe. She definitely took a quick liking to the charm facilier gave. But something about this place felt a bit sinister but she forced herself to not say anything more. If anything she gave a polite nod and replied to fat cat "Well thank you for letting us stay here we've been travelling a little while"

"Yeah and we've been walking a lot. Well I mean wendy and john have. Wendy was nice enough to carry me half way" Michael commented, giving his big sister a grin as she hugged him affectionately. He then nodded to fat cat and widened his eyes "Oh wow you're a talking cat. Isn't that amazing John?" He then listened as john said that it was and smiled as john explained their situation a tiny bit more.

"Well we appreciate it Doctor. Pleasure to meet you" He greeted Facilier with politeness as facilier welcomed them. He then turned to Fat Cat and was about to thank him but then Michael drew some attention and he nodded "Indeed. Then again this whole place seems quite fascinating. Thank you for letting us stay here Mr... um, do forgive me but I do not know your name" He was referring to fat cat and hoped he wasn't being rude.

Facilier allowed Alucard and Galen to go on to Darkpiler but focused on the darling kids alongside Fat Cat. Facilier noticed fat cat get a little sad and facilier felt a tinge of sympathy. But he felt it wasn't his place. Besides, it seemed oliver noticed him and begin to befriend him. So he focused on the Darling children. He noticed john and Michael fine with the place but he could tell Wendy was uneasy. She seemed to be at the age where kids couldn't look past appearances. So he made a sincere face and smiled to her "Now don't you fret mon Cherie, everything is hunky dory for you to stay here. Nobody's gonna hurt you or your brothers. I promise ya that. Old Facilier never breaks a promise" Facilier smiled to her and the other children.

Oliver and Dodger noticed Teddy speak to them and Dodger took the approach to speak to him overall. Dodger shrugged at teddy's comment and replied "Fair enough to you. Just never saw it before. Meant no offense pal" He then smiled politely and replied "A war? Well then I suppose it's best me and my friend here stay to make sure we're safe. Name's Dodger and this is my friend Oliver" He then turned to see oliver say hello to him then politely excuse himself to say hello to fat cat. He then turned to teddy and replied "So three sides huh? Dare I ask what happened to cause three sides?"

Oliver allowed dodger to speak to teddy overall, having not much to say to teddy's point. Oliver, when introduced, he smiled and replied "Nice to meet you. You're pretty cool" He then noticed Fat Cat who said something then looked sad and got a bit curious at the sight of him. He then replied "I'll be right back. Wanna get to know everyone. Excuse me" He then went over to fat cat and replied to him "Heya I couldn't help but notice you looked a bit sad. I wanted to see if you were ok" He then offered his paw to shake "I'm Oliver. Oliver Pennyworth"

Alucard smiled to Galen and gave him a nod of greeting before introducing himself "I am Alucard" He then smirked, allowing darkiplier to introduce himself again. When darkiplier asked if he could stay Alucard replied "Yes. Facilier always welcomes others who are willing to join his cause in this war" He then smiled as Darkiplier asked if there really was a war and nodded "Oh yes. A war between three sides. One side called Critic, one side called Ask thatguy and one side that's this circus. The master here is Facilier"

Darkiplier nodded to alucard first before turning to Galen "Greetings Galen. I am Darkiplier. Pleasure" He then replied "Yes. I have come to stay. Am I to understand I am welcome?" He then listened as alucard welcomed him and explained this was a war he was welcome to join "A war. Is there honestly a war here?" He then smirked amusedly, oooh good a war. That was definitely interesting. He then nodded as alucard explained more "Then I suppose I shall join this circus and serve the master here. I see no reason not to join" He then noticed galen's body and made a interested hum as galen explained he was a naga "So I see. Magnificent creature you are. I never seen a naga this closely before"
