It's Good To Be Outside (ATG Army)

[Sir Hiss]

(May 25th. Afternoon.) Sir Hiss slithered out with the group into the woods. It felt good to get out into nature again. The house was nice but wasn't the same as being out in the woods either. He missed the fresh air and being outside a lot.

"This is quite nice. I'm glad we came here." said Sir Hiss.

Captain galloped along with the group. Penny rode on his saddle grinning and jumped off when they reached the woods. The last time they'd come here things hadn't gone well. She would just make sure to avoid the spooky cave.

"So what do you guys want to do today?" asked Penny.

Captain chuckled.

"I'm just okay with walking around. Being cooped up in the stables all the time is hardly any fun. And without the colonel and Sergeant Tibbs, it's not the same. Joey's a nice enough fellow but I do miss my friends and the farm." said Captain.

Film Brain walked along with Dar as they were watching out for the animal members here. They didn't think anyone would come out here but it didn't hurt to be careful.

"Hiss was right. It is nice to be out here." said Film Brain.

Dar nodded.

"Yes it is. I've missed being outside. I used to live and travel outside. Being cooped all the time just feels wrong and is harder to get used to than I thought." said Dar.

[Buddy]

Kaa slithered not far behind the rest of the group. He looked about, feeling relieved to have some fresh air and freedom. He nodded his agreement "Thissss isssn't the jungle but it'll do jussst fine" He then nodded as Buddy suggested just wandering around together. He didn't see no reason not to.

Buddy was on the saddle alongside penny. Patch decided to stay behind at the house so he decided to accompany penny. He was admittedly relieved her brother wasn't here, it might give him a chance to spend time with penny. He was also somewhat relieved his sister wasn't here either. He then replied "Exploring the woods sounds fun to me. We could use the fresh air as much as we can"

Panini decided to come along to get outside, holding her hand was Patrick who also felt like exploring. Patrick shrugged "Eh, whatever you guys want to do I'm in. Exploring sounds like fun, so long as we know the way back" Panini looked up to patrick and nodded in fellow agreement. Panini felt like exploring and patrick seemed neutral to the idea, just glad to be involved. Patrick did wish alexander was here but he didn't mind some time to spend with the team.

[Sir Hiss]

Hiss nodded.

"Then let's get started. Not much to see around here right now." said Hiss.

"Can we get down now?" asked Penny.

Penny grinned as she looked at Captain who lowered his head as Penny jumped off.

Captain nodded.

"Of course. I know it can't be as much fun riding around all the time. Even Tibbs walked around a few times." said Captain.

He lowered his head so the two puppies could jump to the ground.

Film Brain shrugged.

"This woods aren't that big. I'm sure we'll find a way back. And we have devices that can help us teleport back to the base. Or contact them if we did get lost." said Film Brain.

Dar shrugged.

"I'm an excellent tracker. I'll help us not get lost. But we need to start to get anywhere." said Dar.

He watched amused as the horse bent down to let the two puppies down.

"Shall we be off then?" asked Dar./div]

[Buddy]

"Indeed. Bessst to start" Kaa replied, slithering about next to sir hiss. It was kind of nice to see a fellow snake here but that was purely for personal comfort. He then proceeded to look about the place and go off, patiently waiting for the others to follow or at least get started alongside him.

"What do you think is out there anyway? Just seems like well woods" Panini commented, feeling a bit skeptical that they would find something during this. Sure she wanted to explore but she mostly did because everyone else wanted to. If it were up to her, she'd be baking right now. Then patrick joked about treasure or a missing artifact lost from generations ago. Panini rolled her eyes "Impossible. It would've been found long ago if there was anything like that here" She rolled her eyes again as patrick teased her more. She did laugh though as patrick guided her and ran off playfully

Patrick was up and ready to start. He turned to dar and film brain replying to both of them "Alright we got a tracker and emergency devices to send us back. In that case, there ain't no problems with me" Patrick then turned to see panini be skeptical. Patrick smirked, deciding to get a child's imagination going. Kids deserved a lot of fun in their lives and patrick made sure kids had fun. "Oh you never know panini, there could be treasure, or a cursed artifact just waiting to be found by a bunch of people like us" When she expressed doubt, He scoffed and laughed similarly to a made up wizard "Come now my little bunny friend. Where's your sense of adventure? There's a world out there!" He then heard Dar say that they should get a move on and patrick took panini's hand replying "But of course! Onward to adventure!" And he playfully skipped with her to go forward

Buddy meanwhile was relieved captain finally stopped and let them off. He did like riding but only in small doses. He jumped off not long after penny and relaxed to get ready to go. "Thanks captain" Buddy replied to the horse before laughing as patrick got a move on with panini "He's quite the character isn't he?" Buddy then started to follow patrick and panini.

Hiss smiled at Kaa. He also was glad to be around another snake. Although he was a wild snake having to live out in the wild. He knew he'd probably lived a rather spoiled life being an assistant to Prince John. It had been quite an adjustment after they'd been arrested and thrown in jail. At least here he could be about a little.

"Kaa, can you hypnotize anyone? I can but people always seem to stop me before I can fully hypnotize them. I guess I'm not as good at it as I hoped I'd be." said Hiss.

Penny shrugged.

"I don't know. Just avoid any caves. Last one some of us went into was haunted. We barely made it out last time." said Penny.

Film Brain raised an eyebrow.

"A haunted cave? Well I'm going to stay clear of that." said Film Brain.

Dar chuckled.

"Just don't wander too far. That cave may not be the only dangerous thing out there." said Dar.

Captain chuckled.

"I guess so. But just stay close as you can Penny. There's having fun and there's getting in danger. Your parents aren't here so I kind of feel responsible for you." said Captain.

Buddy widened his eyes and his ears perked as penny commented that last time they ventured, they found a haunted cave. Not because he was interested but because she made a mention that they barely made it. Buddy felt a sense of relief she was alright "Well then let's avoid caves then. Caves are kind of lame anyway" He then strided protectively next to her as the group walked. He indeed strided her to captain to make sure the two pups were near him to pacify the horse. "You didn't get too hurt I hope penny. You were okay mostly right? What did you see anyway?" Buddy was curious and the niceness of the walk was getting him in a talkative mood

Kaa slithered alongside Hiss. Kaa found himself fond of hiss, more or less like a brother more than anything. He then listened as hiss asked him questions. He replied softly "Why yesss, I can. It takesss yearsss to master" He then listened as hiss expressed frustration that his hypnosis only worked a little. "It might be that your power hasn't been practiced enough. I could train you to make it stronger if you would like me too"

"Ah haunted cave, smaunted cave, let's just walk and see what the path leads us too. We still can always find treasure. I'm in a mood for some moolah" Patrick teased, holding panini's hand tight as she seemed unsurprisingly spooked at the idea of a haunted cave. He then replied "You guys are worrying too much. As long as we got a team we should be fine" He then turned to panini who commented about ghosts and he replied "Ah, ghosts don't bother me too much, if they're mean I'm mean right back"

"Haunted cave?" Panini nervously held Patrick's hand tighter at that. She didn't like haunted things very much. She then commented "We--we won't find ghosts here I hope. They freak me out" She then walked as Patrick made a comment and she shivered. She replied to film brain "Me too. I'm staying far away from haunted stuff. No way I'm gonna be haunted" She then walked some more, relaxing just a little as Patrick cooly walked along

(ooc: We could. just probably no ghosts to do something different this thread. xd)

Penny smiled.

"I'm sure we can find other places to have fun." said Penny.

She shook her head.

"None of us got too badly hurt. Just scared really. We saw ghosts." said Penny.

Captain nodded.

"Probably safer to avoid them anyway. You don't know what's safe in there. You could wander into a place where the floor or roof could collapse and hurt you, trap you or both." said Captain.

Sir Hiss grinned seeing Kaa. His crush on the fellow snake he kept hidden since he didn't want to embarrass himself especially if the other snake didn't feel the same way. He paused at Kaa's words.

"Perhaps. Then again I keep getting interrupted so hard to know for sure just far along I really am." said Hiss.

Film Brain and Dar both remained silent not having much to add but following along with the others to get out of the house and extra protection.
