Littlefoot grinned as he ran into the woods. He was here to have some fun. The people here were worse than the grownups back home. At least there were things in the Great Valley to distract his grandparents and the other parents. But there was so many people watching them and after their last fiasco weeks ago where Jasmine had been kidnapped and Ma-Ti's death had been faked. They were overprotective of all the kids. But it had died down after awhile and now he'd brought a group of kids and animals here to have some fun.

"Okay. Let's play. Anyone have any ideas?" asked Littlefoot.

Brock, Chihiro, Kiki, Freckles, Gene, and Diablo had followed Littlefoot all eager to get out and have some fun. Brock was here to keep an eye on them while the rest were more interested in having fun.

Freckles sighed.

"I'm not sure. This place is big enough for hide and seek. And we always seem to play tag lately." said Freckles.

Chihiro grinned.

"Then we need to come up with some games so we don't get bored." said Chihiro.

Kiki had brought her room so she could do some flying later but other than that she didn't mind what they played.

"A new game sounds like a good idea. But do we invent something new? Or change a game we already know?" said Kiki.

Gene frowned.

"A new game. That's a tough one. Some games you need things like a chair or a rope. So we may have to get things too." said Gene.

Diablo shrugged.

"I'll play something if you can think of it. But thinking up new games isn't what I usually do." thought Diablo.

Brock watched quietly not having anything to add. He couldn't think of a game but he was sure they'd think of something eventually.

[Haku Goof]

Darby, Lilo, Kiara, Pepper, Haku and Tombo were joining the group of children. Darby only came because Brock went and the rest came because their friends were going. Haku was admittedly not used to being children, heck he was not used to being this free in a long time. Especially thanks to Yubaba enslaving him. Haku shrugged "We should try new things but that is if one of us have a idea"

"Aw dang. I'm drawing a blank. Normally I like tag cause I'm always real good at it" Pepper mentioned, feeling a bit stuck with originality. She then mentioned with a hint of curiosity "Why not play hide and seek for now and later we'll check if we have better new games?" She hoped this idea would be agreed upon because it was the best she could come up with.

"Pepper's on the right track but I say we change some things to make the hide and seek game a bit more interesting. That way we don't have to be completely original but not repeat the same thing over and over" Tombo offered, feeling a need to say something. He hoped his idea helped out the children come to a decision. Some of the kids felt like they had cabin fever and no agreements tended to cause arguments. And he didn't want to waste time arguing.

Kiara, Lilo and Darby all felt no reason to object to anything just yet. Kiara though rolled her eyes at Pepper mentioning tag. She was getting bored by that. Lilo looked about to see how big the forest really was, while Darby turned to pay attention to brock.

[Chihiro Ogino/Sen]

Kiki paused.

"Thinking up new games is hard." said Kiki.

When she heard hide and seek she grinned.

"Oooh, what if everyone hides and we all count to 10. The longer the game goes say each 5 or 10 minutes someone gets out of hiding and begins looking. Whoever finds the most people wins? So the point isn't to hide but to find the most people. That'd make it a challenge for everyone. So if say you were found first you don't have to wait for the game to be over to play again." said Kiki.

Chihiro nodded.

"I like it. It's hide and seek, but different. We could do something different in other games too. Like maybe find a way to make tag more fun some time." said Chihiro.

Littlefoot nodded.

"Seeking does sound fun. Although I guess if there are ties then there'd be more than one winner. I guess to be fair we should say the first person who finds someone would count. If they found them together it'd both count." said Littlefoot.

Gene chuckled.

"Sounds like fun. And don't worry. I won't use any magic to hide or help seek. Magic's fun but wouldn't make games fun or fair." said Gene.

Freckles and Diablo both nodded as well.

"So when dow e start?" asked Freckles.

"The sooner the better." thought Diablo.

Brock turned to Darby. It was odd. He threw himself at beautiful women quite often only to get rejected. He guessed he fell for women too easily but now he'd started to develop a crush on Darby. But he still barely knew her and he felt so tongue tied when he tried to talk to her. He was sure Misty and Ash would probably be amused by this.

"So... uh you ready to play?" asked Brock, trying not to sound nervous.

[Haku Goof]

Tombo turned to Kiki as she suggested the new way to play hide and seek and immediately smiled at her. He found that to be a excellent idea "That's a great idea kiki! If we're all in let's do that!" He nodded as all the children agreed to it and he replied "Well kiki since it was your idea would you like to be the first seeker?" Tombo wanted kiki to feel validated for her idea and felt a need to make her feel important. Ever since their last meeting he felt a great debt to her.

Haku smiled at this. He hadn't played games in years so he found this to be a treat. He nodded at the idea of the hide and seek game "I find this to be a good idea. It sounds fun" He then turned to see if kiki would accept being first. He then smiled to chihiro as she spoke. Ever since she left he found himself miss her terribly. Seeing her again made all those feelings he shoved down come back ten fold. But he found himself tongue-tied nowadays with her. What was this feeling?

"Yeah like littlefoot said, the first person to find you is the one who gets the point but if there's a tie there's a tie. I'm all for this. This seems way more fun" Pepper replied, wagging her tail. She then replied "Let's start now. Why not? We got all the time in the world" Pepper wagged her tail some more impatiently waiting for the chance to hide.

"This is different I love it. Let's try this game" Kiara replied, Lilo nodding in agreement. The two patiently waited for the game to begin but then kiara noticed tombo ask kiki to go first and kiara replied "Yeah, you go first. You came up with the new rule why not you go?"

Darby was kind of relieved that brock noticed her, but also terrified he noticed her. Darby kept repeating in her head Be cool. Be cool. Be cool as brock spoke to her. He was so cute and she was so... boring to look at. Brock's crush was definitely mutual and darby was just as nervous as he was. Darby normally was very confident but brock was, well, different from most guys she was used to. She replied, nervously "Uh. Yeah. Gotta love hide and seek amirite?" She tried not to facepalm herself. She nervously, and privately, asked brock "So you wanna go hide with me as a pair or something... Like is that allowed?"

[Chihiro Ogino/Sen]

Kiki smiled.

"I guess so. Although I reserve the right to use my broom if the one you hide in a higher place. I'm not that good at climbing trees and I don't want to hurt myself." said Kiki.

Kiki nodded.

"Chihiro's right. No powers or magic. That way it makes it fair for everyone. I'll only use my broom if I need to search high places." said Kiki.

Kiki stood at a tree and closed her eyes and began to count.

Chihiro grinned.

"Then let's go. Good luck everyone!" said Chihiro.

She laughed and paused for a moment.

"And no one who has powers can use them to find anyone else." said Chihiro.

Gene nodded.

"No magic. Got it. It'd be fun to act like a normal boy for once." said Gene.

"Sounds good to me. Let's go." said Littlefoot.

Freckles nodded.

"Yeah." said Freckles.

"This sounds like fun," thought Diablo.

Chihiro, Gene, Littlefoot, Freckles, and Diablo grinned as they ran off to go hide around the forest in separate directions. Freckles and Diablo hiding in some tall bushes in the area. Gene climbed into a hole in a tree. Chihiro climbed a tree and hide. Littlefoot soon hid in a cave.

Brock smiled.

"Yeah. I haven't played in a while. But it sounds like fun." said Brock.

Hearing the new rules and everyone else run off to go hide he turned to Darby.

"Might as well. Everyone else is going to find the good hiding spots first." said Brock.

He paused running off with Darby to look for a hiding space

[Tombo Finevoice]

Haku immediately was relieved that the magical children were not allowed to use their powers. But that included him also. Which was fair. Immediately as the signal to go started, he immediately followed chihiro to whereever she was going to hide. Hey, brock was doing it with darby, why not he with chihiro? Nobody said they weren't allowed to go into a pair. He hoped chihiro wouldn't mind his following. He noticed her hide in a tree and he decided to hide by a bush not far behind her, deliberately hiding.

Pepper replied immediately "Alright! Let's do this!" And with that she raced to hide herself within a bunch of rose bushes, digging a bit to hide deeper. Lilo, Tombo and Kiara went to go find their own places. Tombo also hid in a tree farther away from everyone else. Kiara and lilo had a unspoken agreement to hide together within the leaves and vines of a certain bush. They all patiently waited for kiki to start looking for them.

Darby meanwhile was a bit focused on brock and followed him almost immediately as he ran. She then noticed a abandoned well and she looked down and saw it was big for both of them to hide in. Feeling mischievious and feeling this was a good hiding spot, she replied "Brock! Over here!" She then held his hand and guided him into the well to hide in.

[Chihiro Ogino/Sen]

Brock grinned.

"You think it'd fit us both?" asked Brock.

He paused looking at it.

"I wonder how deep it is. I wouldn't want to get stuck down there." said Brock.

He didn't see a way to lower them in like a bucket but that might not hold their weight so it might break.

"I'll go first. To test it." said Brock.

He climbed in managed to get in pretty quick tossing his backpack in there as well. He smiled.

"Hurry before she gets to 20 and begins looking." said Brock.

Chihiro, Littlefoot, Freckles, Gene and Diablo all were hidden waiting for Kiki to finish her counting.

Kiki counted to 20 and grinned.

"If I don't find anyone in five minutes then one of you has to come out to start searching." said Kiki.

Five minutes could by quickly but also could take a while depending on how you saw it. She figured it would be just the right amount of time. If they wanted to make it shorter or longer they could change that later.

She began looking for people not sure where to start looking.

"This may take awhile." said Kiki.
