Why did you pick him/her?: To continue the romance/friendship with Chihiro

Personality: At first glance, Haku is a reserved, stern, militant young man who does what he is told without any questions. However, underneath he is actually quite compassionate, sweet and patient. He is very kind, especially to those who are under danger by his former master Yubaba. Haku is very witty, intelligent and wise, as well as friendly and pleasant to those he cares about. He's very good at keeping appearances which makes him very quick-witted and mysterious, making him a rather vibrant person. He has a loyalty within him and tends to look for outsiders more than other people. He tends to get himself into trouble for his free-minded behavior. He's a good young spirit and is quite the heroic boy.
History: Haku was raised in the Kahaku river as the spirit and guardian of the river. He could transform as a dragon at will whenever he wished and stayed in the river for years until he got caught by Yubaba and enslaved by her. Before this though, he saved a young chihiro from drowning when she fell into his river. Many years later the two reunited but neither remembered due to Chihiro being older and Haku being brainwashed. Still, Haku felt the need to protect her and became so which lead her to getting a job in his master's bathhouse and prevented her from many dangers. He befriended and even developed a budding romance with Chihiro. He unfortunately got into a bit of a fight with Zeniba's paper birds due to him stealing something from her in the past. This lead to Chihiro searching for him before he bled to death and healing him and accidentally releasing him from his imprisonment. Now free and able to do what he wished, he confronted Yubaba on her behavior and revealed that her son went with Chihiro to meet with Zeniba. In exchange for her freedom, he would give back her son but Yubaba revealed she needed to give a final test before freeing her. Reluctantly he agreed and went to search for them, leading to a tearful reunion between the two. After the travel home, Chihiro helped reveal his entire identity and set him even more free than before. Grateful to her, he made sure to guard her from Yubaba's tricks one last time and once Chihiro passed the final test, Haku took her home. Making her swear not to look back until she was out.
For a time Haku never really saw her again, until he came here to this world. Unknown of the location, he found the nearest place he could find which was Critic's home and he vowed to stay hearing Chihiro was here. Ever her protector, he is determined to make sure she returns safely.
