Family Meeting

[Bagheera]

(ooc: May 7th. Open to Malachite, Facilier, and a few others to meet Bagheera. Critic you can choose to bring in who you like. I wanted to the group to be as small as we can so at most try to bring in five total to match mine. At least would like olive, facilier and maybe jerry and shere khan?)

Bagheera was nervous as he walked around. He'd arrived the night before and been cornered by Malachite who'd given him the silver collar that was around his neck. It bound him to serve Facilier's army and Malachite wanted him to be another bodyguard to Olive and Pete. Elliot couldn't be around all the time. Now he was going to meet his new charges so he is quiet as the group arrives.

When the others arrived including a strange creature he'd never met before he was nervous. When the creature growled at him he hid behind Malachite.

"What is that thing?" asked Bagheera.

When the others told him he was a friend he saw the creature look sad and apologize first with noises he couldn't understand then telepathically which startled him.

"You can only speak in my mind? Fascinating. What are you?" asked Bagheera, his curiosity causing him to step away from Malachite.

Malachite smiled as he walked alongside the panther. He was here to introduce the latest recruit to his sons, Facilier, Elliot and Gi. He knew leaving Elliot and Gi out would be wrong and his sons would probably fill them in anyway. After all he was bringing Facilier so it felt right for them to bring people if they chose to.

He saw some of the others begin to arrive and grinned at Pete's question.

"I will tell you when everyone gets here." said Malachite.

He paused turning to Elliot after Bagheera hid behind him.

"Please don't scare him. He's a friend." said Malachite.

Gi grinned as she arrived in the living room spotting Malachite with a huge blank panther. Her grin fell as she was nervous. She hadn't spent much time around the animals. And now they had a third jungle cat. A tiger, a leopard and now a black panther. She was glad they had powerful allies and was worried about facing Scar, Zira, Sarafina or others in the other two armies. But these cats would help them for sure. She wondered the purpose of this small gathering though and sat on the sofa waiting her boyfriend and the others to join them.

After everything calmed down she smiled at the panther.

"He's a dragon. A mythical creature who's Elliot's friend and kind of protector." said Gi.

Pete grinned running in with Elliot. It'd had been awhile since he got to hang out with his dragon friend. And now he was with his family again. He smiled at Malachite spotting the blanck panther and looked curious.

"Whoa. Who's he?" asked Pete.

When Elliot growled Pete pulled him away.

"Elliot! Everyone here is our ally. We shouldn't be meant to them." said Pete.

Elliot arrived with Pete and saw Bagheera. He growled thinking he might be a threat only to feel bad when the panther hid behind Malachite and looked scared. When Pete and Malachite both asked him not to scare the panther he looked down sad. He chirped his apology to Pete before speaking telepathically.

"I'm sorry for scaring you. I'm very protective of my friend." thought Elliot.

(OCC: Ask and you shall recieve lol. Also hope if you don't mind that Facilier knows about bagheera, if not I'll edit)

Olive and Facilier both came out in the exact same time. Facilier heard about Malachite's plan to use Bagheera as yet another bodyguard. It couldn't always depend on Elliot, so another would be better safe than sorry. He turned to see his boys, especially Olive, be curious over bagheera. Olive before this war was usually scared of big cats but now after getting used to them, Olive started to grow more and more interested with them. Facilier turned to Elliot when Bagheera got spooked and patted the dragon's leg "Take it easy bud, this is a very good friend" He then turned to Malachite and smirked "Well tell the boys, malachite. Don't make them wait" He then turned to see Shere-Khan and Toulouse and have similar yet different responses.

Olive came over, hearing his father had a surprise for them. Suddenly, despite the small chaos Elliot made, Olive was undisturbed by Bagheera. He grown used and even fond of big cats now that he was around them. Sure, Shere-Khan and Siri weren't the nicest but they didn't scare him anymore. Bagheera though was quite a stunning wild cat, a panther from what he remembered. Olive turned to Malachite and replied "Yeah dad who's he?" He smiled to bagheera happily and replied "I'm Olive. This is my brother pete. Ignore Elliot, he's a bit overprotective but he doesn't mean anything by it"

Jerry tended to avoid cats, but everywhere Pete went Jerry obediantly followed. The mouse grew very fond of the boy very quickly. Pete was one of the better humans in Jerry's opinion. The little mouse was on Pete's shoulder when they met bagheera. He stayed firmly on Pete's shoulder, gripping his shirt nervously at the sight. He hoped, no prayed, the panther wouldn't notice him.

Toulouse didn't avoid any of the cats. If anything they avoided him. Siri and Shere-Khan were more focused on themselves, having no time for the kitten's nonsense. Bagheera was a opportunity to finally bond with a cat and a wild cat nonetheless. Toulouse's eyes lit up with joy. Not since Omalley entering their lives had he been so happy. Toulouse finally met a actually regal, cool looking wild cat. Toulouse came over to the panther and replied "Don't worry about the dragon. If you're with us, he won't hurt you. And if he does, I'll look after you" Naive sure but Toulouse wanted him to feel welcome

"Well, now. I must say Bagheera. It has been a long time" Shere-Khan noticed the collar around Bagheera's neck and immediately came to two conclusions. Either Bagheera willingly became a pet or malachite used the claimed magic he had to enslave the panther. Either way, if shere-khan harmed Bagheera, he'd get in trouble. He gave a small approving face when Elliot growled at him and found amusement when the panther hid. But he then realized that they were allies for sure. Which wasn't too bad. It was better than having that bear. Or those annoying vultures. At least Bagheera was a jungle cat like himself. Because he was one himself, Shere-Khan had a strong positive bias. So it was somewhat easy to try not to get too upset.

Forcing a calm smile, Shere-Khan replied, surprisingly calm "Dare I ask what brings you here, panther? Have you come to remind me of the humiliation you did with that bear and man cub? Or have you actually come for something useful other than being the ever-loving advocate?"

[Bagheera]

Bagheera had heard of his new duties before and nodded. He'd been looking after Mowgli for awhile and these two seemed to be less likely to get into trouble than he did. But at least he wasn't worried about having to protect them from Shere Khan. He smiled at the tiger nervously walking up to him.

"Can we call a truce?" asked Bagheera.

He smiled glancing at Pete and Olive.

"I'd be honored to be your bodyguard and friend." said Bagheer.a

Bagheera heard Pete's light thread about Jerry's safety and resisted the urge to gulp. He'd make sure not to bother that mouse. He'd more of a snack than anything and he had animal friends in the jungle before like Baloo. So having Jerry as a friend could be fun too. He turned to see Toulouse and smiled.

"Hello. I haven't seen a jungle cat like you before." said Bagheera.

Malachite turned to address everyone.

"Hello. I know Elliot is your friend Pete but you and Olive need more protection. I'm not so worried about Critic's army. The fools won't attack children. But Ask That guy's army won't be so nice. So I've asked Bagheera to be another bodyguard for both of you. Mostly for you Olive. I know you have other members you can rely on but we can't always be there. So this way you'll have at least Bagheera and elliot to keep you both safe. The collar will keep him protected from most spells and lets him communicate with me quickly." said Malachite.

Hearing Gi's words he nodded. He knew Facilier would tell Shaggy.

Gi watched impressed.

"A black panther, a werewolf, and a dragon as bodyguards, on top of sorcerer parents and the rest of our army. They'd be fools to mess with Pete or Olive." said Gi.

She grinned turning to Olive.

"I'm glad you'll be more protected. I don't want anything to happen to you. Or Pete." said Gi.

Elliot chirped happily hearing Pete would getting more permanent protecting.

"This is good news. I always worry about you Pete so I'm glad to have more help." said Ellioit.

Pete blushed a little hearing he had another bodyguard. But he was glad his newfound family was protective of him.

"Thank you Dad." said Pete.

He smiled at the panther.

"Welcome Bagheera. I'm sure we'll be good friends." said Pete.

He turned to Jerry.

"Don't worry about him Jerry. We're all on the same side. No one's going to hurt or eat you. Not if they know what's good for them." said Pete.

[Olive Gamic]

Shere-Khan was rather impressed Bagheera actually was focused on just being here than focusing on his insults. Shere-Khan was more willing to call a truce with the panther since cat kind was supposed to stick together anyway. Besides, since Malachite made him a bodyguard it had perks, including being protected by the leaders inadvertently. Shere-Khan kind of had no choice but to be friendly. Shere-Khan nodded "I suppose we can come to a peaceful arrangement panther" He then chuckled to bagheera's reaction to Toulouse "Unfortunately panther this is not a jungle cat, he is what the man cubs call a pet cat. He's domesticated" Shere-Khan then rolled his eyes at Toulouse's display.

Toulouse smiled to bagheera, proud to be called a jungle cat before Shere-khan spoiled it calling him domesticated. He frowned disappointedly "Well someday I won't be. I wanna be a wild cat someday! I'm gonna be you'll see! Roar! Meroar!" Toulouse then spit everywhere, hissing and pouncing at bagheera's hind leg. Wanting to impress his new friend. He felt kind of lonely since his family wasn't here and the panther was the only one who seemed to be paying attention to him.

Olive smiled at the cat's display but then listened to his father's announcement then nodded at the lineup of protection. He then heard Pete's little threat and replied "Hey don't worry. Nobody will eat anybody and nobody's gonna hurt anybody. This is a family unit now" He then turn to Gi and chuckled to her and replied "Can't help but agree. Pretty big lineup we got. Ask thatguy really won't know what hit him" He pulled Gi to a hug then turned to his parents and replied "The more bodyguards the merrier. Thank you both this is great"

Facilier beamed to olive and then to pete as the two welcomed the panther in. He then reminded himself to remind shaggy about the new bodyguard member. He nodded "Oh bagheera's definitely gonna get to know the both of you boys. After all this is a family unit like olive said. We got a whole team to make sure you boys don't get hurt. If anybody gets any funny ideas they got a whole pack to deal with" He was glad he and malachite prepared for a whole set of bodyguards. He did trust critic in this field. As pathetic as critic was, he did respect Critic to not go so low as to attack children. Ask thatguy he just didn't trust whatsoever so he had to prepare.

Jerry was a bit skeptical, due to having a distrust in cats in general but he trusted Pete so he was willing to give a benefit of the doubt. Jerry got less anxious and signed to Bagheera Welcome to the club big guy. Name's Jerry. Hope you settle in nicely He then turned to Pete and replied What Gi said. Those other armies would genuinely be actual idiots to mess with you

[Bagheera]

Bagheera nodded.

"Good. I'm glad. You know I did always admire you and I guess envied you quite a bit.. You were the strongest cat in our jungle. I suppose you still are. Perhaps if things had gone differently we could have been friends back home." said Bagheera.

He turned to Toulouse and smiled.

"So he lives with the man cubs as a pet? Fascinating." said Bagheera.

He chuckled at Toulouse displayed how wild he was.

"My you seem quite wild already. But I'm sure I could teach you a few things." said Bagheera.

Malachite smiled as he turned to Facilier.

"They'll regret messing with this family and this army." said Malachite.

He paused with a sigh.

"We may have lost Leonardo but we've still have many powerful allies including Shaggy. Being Facilier's familiar he's connected to him and can alert him much quicker. Same as if he had some of his shadows nearby you. I may have mine or Facilier's shadows watching you." said Malachite.

He paused turning to Gi.

"And that means you as well. You are dating my son and in my eyes that makes you family. No way am I going to let Critic or Ask That Guy's goons sick their claws on you." said Malachite.

Gi grinned.

"I can't wait to see the look on their faces if they tried to corner you or Pete. Thinking you're unprotected without your dads not being there. And instead getting a dragon, a panther, or a werewolf in their face." said Gi.

Gi was shocked that Malachite practically considered her family with her dating Olive and she'd get protection as well.

"Thank you sir." said Gi.

Gi blushed as Pete said she and Olive might want to be alone for mushy stuff.

"That's none of your business." said Gi, trying to sound angry but was amused despite her embarrassment.

Elliot frowned at the thought of Pete being attacked but knew with a war like this it could be inevitable. He began chirping. When Pete reminded him that others could turn into dragons he relaxed a little. That would just mean more protection for Pete and the others here.

Pete smiled at Jerry.

"Don't worry. You guys will be friends before you know it. And someone else to keep Tom off your back. I'm sure he won't want to mess with a panther." whispered Pete.

He smiled as Jerry signed back.

"I'm sure they'll try. But maybe they'll rethink it after the next time." said Pete.

He looked up at Elliot and grinned.

"Don't worry Elliiot. They won't know what hit them. Even if I was without you Dark Heart and Madame Mim can turn themselves into dragons. So it's kind of like having 3 dragons in the army." said Pete.

When he heard malachite suggest shadows watching them for their protection he was about to protest but shook his head. They were being protective because they cared. It wasn't like he had anything to hide anyway.

"Might want to give Olive and Gi some space though. Don't think they want to do all that mushy stuff like kissing in front of people." said Pete.

[Olive Gamic]

Shere-Khan was rather shocked at Bagheera's confession. Since bagheera was a bit more open to humanity sharing their jungle, it left a bad taste in his mouth and the tiger tended to avoid the panther. But seeing the panther admit respect and envy of him kind of made shere-khan feel guilty that the two were enemies prior to this moment. He did seem like a formidable ally and definitely someone who knew power when he saw it. Shere-Khan couldn't help but realize bagheera survived as long as he did for a reason, for he too was an expert in survival. Therefore he had power himself and shere-khan did feel a bit of interest in how this would go. Shere-Khan nodded and admitted "Although we have had problems in the past, I do appreciate your words. If anything I too admit respect for you. You at least know how to survive and that is something that I admire" He then gave a firm smile "Perhaps our alliance can become friendship with due time"

He then took a look at elliot and realized that maybe gaining allies here wasn't such a bad idea. Especially if such allies were big and strong like the dragon. Sure, he supported humans too but elliot had a way about him that demanded respect and shere-khan wanted to get on the dragon's good side also.

Jerry meanwhile was with pete and ignored bagheera for the time being seeing he was fitting in nicely. The mouse then gave a thumbs up of approval as Malachite confirmed that the boys were safe with all these army members. He then noticed Facilier talk about protection and jerry had a feeling in his stomach. He felt a loyalty to pete and wished to protect him in his own way. Jerry was not big but he did have a power thanks to his own intelligence. Jerry then turned pete's head to him and signed Hey pete. I know you got big bodyguards now but you should know I got your back too. I mean yea you got elliot as your pet but I'm your pet too so I should let you know I'm here for you if you need me He didn't want to step on elliot's shoes at all but jerry was pretty much adopted thanks to pete, so jerry felt a personal debt to pay. Jerry then started to laugh as Pete teased Gi and Olive. He then made lovey noises to the couple and then made smooching noises before laughing some more at the couple.

Olive laughed as gi brought up a scenario where a army member cornered him only to be attacked "Yeah that'll be priceless. They'd be scared crapless" He then frowned a bit at the mention of leonardo. Sure it was understandable that he left for his family but he had a slight admiration and care for the eldest turtle. So seeing him go was like seeing a friend go. Olive secretly hoped that whereever leonardo was now, he was content with his life and didn't hold ill will that much. He turned to Gi and hugged her happily as his fathers swore protection to her also. He then turned to pete and rolled his eyes before seeing jerry make fun of them "Oh har-har jerry keep laughing it up, one day you might fall for someone"

Facilier then waved his hand absentmindedly at the mention of leonardo "Don't you mind about the turtle malachite. There's plenty of people to back up the boys to replace leonardo. We don't need him anymore and if he ever shows his face that'll be on him" He was a bit lower-toned with his voice seeing olive's slightly sad reaction. He knew his son was more compassionate and didn't want to make his son lose that completely. He liked that his boys were nice and intended to keep most of their personalities in tact. He then nodded to Gi "Malachite's right. You're one of us now, chere. You need us or the shadows at any time, just whistle" He then laughed amusedly at pete and jerry "Oh don't worry about that, they'll have space when needed. But the shadows gotta be on the lookout most of the time"

Toulouse meanwhile was focused on bagheera. He found a admiration for the panther almost immediately. He felt a little ashamed of his pet background but seeing bagheera like it or at least tolerate it made him feel less self-conscious "Yeah it's okay, especially with my siblings, mom and step dad. But my real passion is to be a wild cat. I can do it honest!" He then beamed excitedly as bagheera offered to teach him "Really? You'll teach me? Oh that would be so cool! I'll do my best I promise, you won't be let down!" He then remembered to introduce himself "Forgot something, my name's toulouse!"

[Bagheera]

Bagheera paused whispering to him.

"I just ask if you run into Mowgli to spare him, please. He's just a boy. He's was no threat to you. Or anyone in this war. I can't protect him anymore now that I'm here. Hurt him, capture him if you must. But don't kill him. I will still wish a truce regardless. But I don't want him to die. I may not have raised him but I helped watch out for him while he lived with the wolves. He's like the son I never had. If he died it would break my heart." whispered Bagheera.

He smiled.

"I'd like for us to be friends." said Bagheera.

He knew Shere Khan could ignore him or do what he wanted anyway. This probably a longshot but he had to try. He knew others could try to hear but it didn't look like anyone heard. He'd rather have Mowgli locked in a cell here where he could keep him safe. Even if he hated him for it. At least he'd be alive.

He turned back to Toulouse and smiled.

"I'd like to. And it's ok. It took me a while to learn how to be a good jungle cat." said Bagheera.

He smiled at him.

"Hello Toulouse." said Bagheera.

Elliot chirped happily and smiled.

"I think we came around the same time. We haven't gotten much chance to talk but I'd like more friends. If it's ok with you." thought Elliot.

Malachite smiled.

"We've lost members but gained them. I admit Leonardo's was probably inevitable. He is still a traitor but then again two of his brothers were in ask that guy's army once as well." said Malachite.

Malachite glanced at Facilier at Gi's request.

"I think that could be arranged. I know how limiting the power rings can be." said Malachite.

Gi chuckled.

"Yes it would." said Gi.

Gi smiled as Olive hugged her and she returned it. She giggled at the brother's banter. She glanced at Facilier and Malachite.

"Maybe you could help me. My power ring only has as limited control of water. Maybe you could help me find ways to increase its power or learn other ways to increase my power. An amulet or a charm. Something like that. Or if I had to learn magic myself. So easy for someone to steal my ring or knock it off my hand. My powers are only useful if I'm wearing it and am near water." said Gi.

Pete smiled at Jerry.

"You'd be my secret weapon. Everyone would overlook a mouse. And that's when you'd strike. I mean I've see some of your cartoons. You kind of are amazing how you take care of yourself and your friends." said Pete.

He chuckled.

"Well if Jerry ever does I'd welcome them into the family." said Pete.

[Olive Gamic]

Shere-Khan couldn't help but feel a tad of annoyance as the panther begged him to spare mowgli. He could always lie but the panther was not stupid and would eventually figure out his lie. But he was relieved the panther was not opposed to the boy getting captured. It was pathetic bagheera had such a love for the boy but he expected it at this point. Besides, he wasn't in charge here, if facilier said someone was to be spared, they were to be spared. With a hint of distaste, he replied "Very well. If the boy really means this much to you, I will spare him. As my acceptance of our truce. We are allies, but perhaps one day we can be friends. Only fate will tell us that"

Shere khan then turned to elliot who actually managed to telpathetically speak. He gave a curt nod to the dragon "Indeed. We can be friends" He didn't want to reject elliot, even though he was tame, he was big. Emotions were no doubt big also. He then turned to listen to the family talk about gi's powers and saw bagheera talk to toulouse. The tiger managed to smile then. The more wild cats the better.

Jerry beamed with pride as Pete accepted him as a backup plan. Praising him and his skill. It was true. People did overlook a mouse for his size. That was their mistake. Jerry was creative, clever, and quick. He could easily manipulate a situation to his work. He then blushed a bit as pete called him amazing, he signed back Well I can take any dumb old cat. But when my friends are involved, I make sure they get left alone. Nobody should have to deal with a bully you know? He then listened as pete replied that if jerry were to find someone, he would accept them. Jerry made a eye roll at that, but he then blushed at the possibility.

Olive snickered a bit as the mouse blushed a bit before turning to Gi about her powers. He then beamed as his fathers agreed to help her. This felt great. Yet malachite's words of replacing leonardo was true but it still felt the boy feel sad the turtle had to go. Not that he didn't want leonardo to be free with his family but he would be missed. He turned to facilier as he explained the possibility and replied "Imagine if she could literally create a ocean with or without the ring, that'd be freaking amazing!"

Facilier turned to malachite and shrugged at leonardo's betrayal. Facilier had enough of leonardo to be honest, the turtle was no longer useful to him. But malachite was a opportunist through and through so he was naturally disappointed. He shrugged "Well what's done is done. The turtle is gone. No matter, he'll be replaced with tons of people and if he is a idiot he'll realize what a mistake he made coming back" He said this to malachite only, knowing his sons would probably protest. He then twirled his mustache a bit as gi asked for help with her powers "We can definitely find a charm or something to enhance your powers. Can't always be near water I get that, so we'll just have to find something special for you, Gi" He then snapped his fingers "I got a elemental power book in my office. Probably could be of some use"

"You won't regret teaching me! I promise I'm a fast learner!" Toulouse gratefully replied. He then beamed brightly as bagheera greeted him properly and he nodded a greeting back. He then turned to the others before replying to bagheera "This will be great! I'll be a jungle cat in no time!" He meowed again and pounced playfully, and excitedly. He was beyond pleased.

[Bagheera]

Bagheera smiled.

"Thank you." said Bagheera.

To be honest he'd hoped Shere Khan would give up on the idea. He knew he only went after Mowgli because he could one day grow up to be a man that could hurt him. But he'd joined an army full of men that had weapons, magic or worse. But Mowgli had defeated him so perhaps that was his main reason. Still, he hoped he could keep him alive.

"Perhaps we will one day." said Bagheera, feeling hopeful since the first time he got here.

He chuckled.

"I'm sure you will be Toulouse." said Bagheera.

He paused and glanced at Olive and Gi.

"Pete has his dragon as a bodyguard. Would you like if I was your bodyguard and your mate?" asked Bagheera

Malachite paused taking the ring off her finger as he examined it.

"I'm afraid you are right about its limitations. I fear it may one day stop working for you. It was made by good magic and while you think you may be doing good, you have joined what others consider an evil army. But I can do something better. I remember your powers were quite stronger with something else." said Malachite.

He raised his hand as a black glove appeared.

"I believe Zarm gave this to you once. It is much more powerful that ring." said Malachite.

He smiled.

"But Facilier's book could only help. I think last time you and your friends let the power go to your head didn't you? said Malachite.

Gi paused as she took the glove. As she did the ring vanished flying away in a flash of blue light as Gi frowned realizing Malachite's words were right. It was choosing someone else. She shrugged.

"That ring was only holding me back. With the Waters of Conquest, I can be much stronger. And help defend this army." said Gi.

She then blushed at Bagheera's words at the mention of mate.

"I think that'd be quite good Bagheera. I wouldn't mind having you as a bodyguard." said Gi.

Her blush grew deeper at Malachite's words.

"I think I could use some training with this glove." said Gi.

Elliot grinned at Shere Khan.

"Friends. I'd like that. I never met a real tiger before." thought Elliot.

Pete grinned at Jerry.

"It'd be funny to see surprise them all. No one should underestimate you. Not even Tom. And yet he still does." said Pete.
