Where did I end up? And why?

(May 18, morning)

Nikita walked around as soon as she arrived and sighed. She remembered a bit of what happened before she disappeared and appeared where she was at now but that was all she remembered. Nikita wondered where she was, as well as how she got there and why.  She was glad that she wasn't hurt or killed but she was still confused as to why she was there. Nikita noticed that it was morning just like in her world/universe but she was still confused. She was glad that she had a gun  with her. Nikita found out as she checked, given that she had it with her when she disappeared and all. She then waited for someone to notice her and help her, as she had no idea where to go or what to do next.

[Dr. Carol Block]

"My goodness. Here we go again I suppose?" Dr. Block turned to her friend Jane. The two noticed Nikita very quickly and as always were very quick to make themselves known. With Jane in toll, Dr. Block held out her hand to the young woman "Dr. Block, hello to you. You must be lost. I assure you you're in safe hands. It's best you come with us. You've taken a great journey what with being transported and all"

"I'm Jane" Jane replied meanwhile, she smiled softly "Nice to meet you"

Nikita looked over at the person that spoke to her and sighed to that. She looked down and back over as she moved closer and sighed to that. It took her sometime but eventually she shook the other woman's hand. Nikita sighed to that as she saw that the woman was with another one and sighed to that.

"Nikita. Nice to meet you, Dr Block! I am lost and thanks. I am? Good to know. That means a lot to me! Also, I can handle myself but that is good to know and hear. And alright then! Come with you where to, so? And huh? What are you on about? What do you mean with all of that? What's going on? Transporting here? How? What is behind that, which got me transported here in the first place? Care to explain?"

Nikita looked over at the other woman, with Dr Block, and sighed to that. She listened to her. Nikita looked over to her and to the ground, as she sighed to that.

"Nice to meet you too, Jane. I am Nikita! Just Nikita. No matter how strange or confusing you find my name to be, it is still my actual name! No more nor less. That is how I am call! Nice to meet you. Care to tell me where I am so? And how did I possibly get here? And why am I here for?"

[Dr. Carol Block]

"Well I'm sure you can. Believe me. But trust me, it's best you stay with us for overall safety precaution. We're looking for fighters for this war that's going on" Dr. Block then adjusted her glasses and replied, almost as if casually "Of course. You need a explaination first. Well, to be quite precisely honest, you've been transported by the most insane science known to man. Made by Dr. Insano, he made this weapon to transport all types of people to either fight or be enslaved. We are his opponents and we are the only way to get you home" She then replied with a happy tone "Do make yourself comfortable. You're going to be here a while"

Jane smiled and replied "Honestly your name doesn't confuse me. I think it's a nice name" Jane then replied "Well yeah you're in Chicago, Illinois. But not from your world. What Dr. Block said"
