Tao sighed as he went for a short walk. He didn't see Dar or Arina but figured that they had things to deal with, so he let it be. Tao thought that once he came back he would find them but to his surprise it wasn't the case as he found himself in a place he had never been to before. He sighed and looked around lost in thoughts. Tao tried to figure out where he was and how he got there. He knew that something was off as he didn't know the place. However, Tao  had no idea what brought him there. He could tell it was all real no matter how long had passed but beyond that he still needed answers. As he didn't know anything beyond that. Tao looked around and sighed as he walked around trying to figure out where he was and how he got there in the first place. The longer that passes the more confused he was. Tao  didn't like the situation at all. He found what happened to him weird and strange. Tao sighed as he continued to walk as he hoped to find someone and get answers, as he needed answers. He wanted to understand what happened to him, where he was and how he got there in the first. Tao hoped that there was someone around who could give him the answers. He continued to hope that while he continued to walk.

[Dar/Beastmaster]

Dar walked out of the house and spotted Tao running up and hugging the man.

"Tao! It's good to see you." said Dar.

He then let go realizing he might be hugging him too tightly.

"I've missed you. We're not the only ones here Tao. Kyra's here. She's alive. We've been brought to another world in the future and people who die in one world are alive here. Unfortunately, there's a war going on. Kyra and I are slaves here. I could probably ask them to let you join if you wanted. If you join one of the other armies then they could hurt you. And I don't want anything to happen to you."said Dar.

After getting Kyra back it felt like he'd got back a part of himself. He was lighter and happier. He couldn't lose anyone else important him especially Kyra and Tao. Thankfully Sharak, Ruh, Kodo, Poto, and the others were back home so they were safe. At least from this war. He hoped Iara was able to protect them or chose another Beastmaster since she had usurped Curupira who could not do it. When he saw Dark Nella come out Dar stepped in front of him.

"If you kill him you'll have to kill me first." said Dar.

Dark Nella walked out next spotting the new arrival and overhearing Dar talking to him.

"Welcome Tao. I hope you choose to join this army. We can make you a slave like your friend or a prisoner. Or well just make you dust." said Dark Nella.

She blasted a rock next to the porch turning it to ashes and Dark Nella chuckled. When Dar stepped in front of him she was impressed. Despite his loyalty to Vyce thanks to their lovely magic he did not want his friends to die.

"Such devotion is admirable." said Dark Nella.

She glared at the horse.

"And you should mind your own business if you know what's good for you." said Dark Nella.

Captain walked out next hearing the commotion and neighed loudly.

"Hold on. No one needs to get hurt. Let him join us. He has a friend here where he would no one in the other armies." said Captain.

He was nervous and gulped as Dark Nella turned on him. He lowered his head trying not to anger her further and looked back at the two men in sympathy.

(OCC: Well tao, since dar and Kyra are Vyce's servants, maybe Tao should be as well? Up to you)

Panini, Vyce, Joey and Patrick all came out. Patrick was holding the young pink bunny's hand to go help her with some things, and Joey was eating some hay nearby when the commotion happened. All three raced over and realized what was happening. Patrick stepped up, seeing the somewhat threatening display and replied to Dark Nella, hearing the last of Captain's words "Madame, listen, I'm not telling you what to do and I don't think that horse was either. Nobody's questioning your business or authority but it seems like the guy just got here" He then raised his hands up "Don't be upset with me, miss. I'm just saying, maybe, let the guy take a breather first?"

"I understand what Mr. Wallen is saying madame but you have a good point" He came over to Dar and pulled him away harshly "Your devotion is admirable yes but I will not have you die" He then came towards Tao, offering his hand "And I will not let you harmed either. If you join this army as a servant of mine you'll be under my protection. Or you can work as a army member or as someone else's servant. Either way, I highly suggest you make your decisions, because this army is a tight run ship"

Panini came over to Dark nella and tried her best to be as quiet as possible. She looked up to the woman to see what she was going to say for all this. She hoped she wouldn't get angry at Patrick or anyone else. Dark Nella was SCARY when angry and the pink bunny knew not to mess with her.

Joey meanwhile saw Captain get yelled at and as a horse himself, felt sympathetic and empathetic to the new horse. Joey went over to Captain, friendly and pleasantly, and nuzzled his neck. As if to apologize on Dark Nella's behalf. Joey stayed close to captain, protectively and carefully. As if to protect him from Nella in case she got nasty again.

Tao froze as he saw Dar and wasn't sure what to say or do, but when his friend hugged him he definitely hugged him back. He listened to his friend as he smiled at him. Tao was glad to see him too. He thought that he would never see him again until that moment. At first Tao thought that he imagined it until he realized that he didn't imagine him at all. He watched him and sighed. Tao looked around and back at him as he sighed once more.

"Dar? Oh man. I am glad to see you! Wait did you come out of this  house not far away? What's going on here? Where are we? How did we get here and where is here exactly? It is good to see you too. I missed you Dar, my friend! I feared that I might never see you again! Are we the only ones here from our world?"

He said and sighed, as he let go of his friend too and watched him closely. Tao then listened to him speak again and sighed as he froze  once more at the mention of Kyra being alive. He thought that his friend had the loss affect him more than he thought, and that he began imagining things or such. The rest of the information however, scared Tao a great deal, as well as confused him too.  It was more information than he expected. Tao wasn't sure how to react to any of it. He was rather terrified shocked and confused. Tao looked down and back at him, as he sighed to that. He took him a while before he spoke again. For a while Tao just watched him not saying anything at all.

"I have missed you too, Dar. We aren't? Who else? Wait what? Dar, it can't be. We saw her die, remember? No one csn come back to life! Remember? What's going on? Is it all a dream? Kyra? Here? Are you sure about it? Are you positive about that? Alive? As in actually alive? Really here not in your mind? How can it be? Another world? There is a lot to process here. It's not possible, is it? How any of it can be possible? I am a healer not a magic believer. Remember? I don't understand. How can any of it be real, Dar? I believe you but I am confused. And really? This is unbelieveble. Also, I do believe you, though. Future? As in actually future? A war? We are stuck in a war zone world? From one war we end up in another while leaving thr first one behind? Or somewat a war, as in there is a war in away back home and now we are here where there is a war too? This is crazy. What do we do? And alright then. It is better than nothing!  But are you sure they will let me join and not kill me anyway? I understand as I don't want nothing to happen to you, either, Dar,"

He watched the next thing happen and sighed to that. Tao swellowed hard not sure what to think or do next. He was definitely terrified as hell. Tao nodded to Dark Nella in understanding snd sighed to that. He jumped as she did the next thing and swallowed hard oncr more, not sure what to say or do next as he sighed to that. Dar protected him, that was true but Tao still picked from behind him and hated what he saw a great deal.

"I will join just don't kill me. Also, I have a feeling that whether I join or not doesn't matter because you will kill me, turn me into dust anyway! Won't you? I guess it doesn't matter then. Does it? You seem more intant on killing rather than seeing me join, no offense. Look I will join but you need to promise that I won't die if I join because other wise  what is the point of me joining in the first place? Joining or not but still ending up dead isn't really helpful, you know? Besides with you making me a prisoner it's like you are deciding for me that we are enemies. I want to know that if I join you won't kill me, turn me to dust or make me a prisoner! Slave so be it so,"

He looked at the horse and sighed to that. Tao was confused that the horse spoke as he looked at Dar and then in front of him and sighed to that.  He wasn't sure what to think or do next but was grateful that  there were those that protected him, even if he was confused with the idea that the horse protected him but saif and did nothing as he just watched this.

Tao watched the next thing ans blinked a few times as he sighed to that. He agreed with what most if not all said to Dark Nella. Tao hoped that it would convince her but he wasn't sure one way or another as he sighed to that lost in thoughts. He was however worried what would happen to those that spoke in his behalf, just as much as he was worried about himself if not more than that. Tao looked down and swallowed hard again and then he looked around himself and sighed to that.

He listened to what the other guy said and sighed to that. Tao watched Dar being pulled away from defending him as he just stood there scared as hell.  He swallowed hard and was sure it was the end of him. Tao hoped and prayed that someone or somethinh would save him. Even so, he doubted it would happen but he hoped for the best just the same. He was sure that it would be his end sooner or later. Now that it seemed like it was, Tao sighed and closed his eyes, expecting the death to come swift. He was sure that it was coming soon. Sooner than soon in fact.

When nothing happened he opened his eyes and saw the extended hand of the guy, who a mimute ago pulled Dar away from him. Tao listened to him and took his hand as he walked closer and sighed to that, as he nodded in understanding. He picked the only think that he could think off as he hoped that it would be enough but he wasn't sure one way or another what to expect.

"I will be your slave. I just don't want to be killed after choosing a side! And I hope that by choosing what I just choose that I won't make things worse or stay as bad as they were since I arrived. I won't get killed by either one of you after choosing to be your slave, would I? Does my choice makes a difference or am I still in danger no matter what? I don't want to die and will do what I am told as long as I stay alive and npt die either way,"

Tao watched what happened next and sighed to that. He looked at them all and then he watched the horses once more. Tao sighed as he looked at Dar and then at Vyce his new partner and sighed to that.

(Yeah, that works and is a good idea. Tao being Vyce's slave definitely works,)

[Dar/Beastmaster]

Dar turned to Tao.

"We were pulled to another world in the future. This world is a very dark one for animals. Some are extinct. Others are so endangerred they live in cages just to keep them safe. And then this war going on is another problem." said Dar.

He shook his head.

"She's alive. I don't know how if it's magic or what brought us here. Apparently others who have died in their worlds were brought back to life when they came here. I can't explain it and I don't really care. I have her back and that's all that matters to me. And having you here was a definite bonus." said Dar.

Dar paused as Vyce pulled him away.

"You may be my master but I will not let anyone kill someone I care about. Not Kyra and not Tao. I will die before that happens." said Dar.

It was the first bit of defiance he'd had since being put under the spell but his loyalty to those he considered family was too strong. Tao, Kyra, Ruh, Podo, Poto, Sharak, Arina, Curupria and the two Sorceresses to a lesser degree. He stepped in front of Tao again blocking Vyce, Dark Nella and anyone else from targeting Tao.

"I'm sorry for defying you master but this is my choice. I will accept any punishment you wish to give me later if they choose to spare my friend. But I doubt even you could save me if they chose to kill him." said Dar.

Dar glanced at Dark Nella.

"If someone was in danger of being seriously hurt or killed I would protect them and get them to safety if I could. Or take the blow myself if I had to." said Dar.

He relaxed as Tao agreed to join them and became Vyce's slave just like Dar and Kyra were. He hugged his friend again.

"I'm so glad you're going to be ok. It was bad enough when I lost Kyra and I have her back. I couldn't save her and it nearly destroyed me. You can be one of the army's medics or cooks or something. Just please don't go fight unless you have to. I can't lose you too." said Dar.

Dark Nella glanced at Patrick and glared at him.

"Very well. He can have a breather. It may be his last one." said Dark Nella.

She was surprised to see Dar stand in front of Tao again practicaly defying Vyce's orders.

"Such loyalty. Willing to be punished or killed for him. Would you do the same for another member of this army?" asked Dark Nella.

She glanced at Tao.

"I don't wish to kill you but the other two armies would eagerly send spies here to learn our secrets. Or you could sneak off to join one of them if you didn't like what we did. Although you'd likely never see Dar or Kyra again so I suppose leaving wouldn't be an option for you." said Dark Nella.

She nodded glad the matter was settled.

"Good. I trust Vyce will handle things with the two of you from now on." said Dark Nella.

Captain shuddered at her dark tone feeling slightly guilty for being relieved she wasn't his target and felt sympathy for the new arrival. He smiled though in gratitude to Patrick and Joey that they tried to help even though it looked like it didn't do much. He nuzzled Joey back glancing at the horse curious.

"Hello. I wasn't aware there were other horses here. I'm Captain." said Captain.

Captain was in shock as he was pulled back to the scene in front of him. This warrior was admirable willing to get hurt or die to protect his friend. He would follow him into battle anywhere.

[Lord Vyce]

(OCC: Oh good then Vyce has triple slaves!)

Vyce allowed Dar and Tao to bond and continue to talk. Then suddenly Dar defied him, which was understandable since Dar's loyalty was far more important than anything. Vyce allowed Dark Nella to talk with him before he himself started to speak. He would be beyond upset but Dar apologized. Vyce was actually in a good mood and to see Dar reply he'd give his life for anyone if he needed to impressed Vyce. "Dar, I normally would punish you, but your courage and defiance was quite admirable. I will let it slide just this once" He then came close to dar and replied harshly "But if you defy me again, I will not be so kind. Keep that in mind"

Then suddenly Tao accepted his offer and begged to be safe. Vyce patted Tao's shoulder kindly "Fear not. You are no longer in danger. You will be safe under my care. I am a member of this army and I am powerful enough to prevent enemies from harming you. You are very wise to make this decision. Do not worry, in exchange for your servitude, you will be cared for and protected" He turned to Dark Nella and replied "Fear not madame, he is under my rule. He will not even dare betray you. Neither of them will"

Patrick softly gulped, praying Tao would make the smart decision and declare loyalty. But he was pleased to see Tao agree to serving Vyce and swear loyalty in exchange for being spared. Patrick sighed in relief "Whoo! Boy am I glad that's over" He then went over to Tao and offered his hand "Name's Patrick Wallen. Good to see ya man. Welcome to the club" He then listened to Nella's reasoning and replied "Yeah spies make us paranoid, no hard feelings right?"

"Miss Nella, perhaps now that this situation is done, maybe we can get Tao something to eat?" Panini didn't really know what else to offer. She was pretty much caught in the crossfire, all because of her damn curiosity. The pink rabbit prayed she wasn't in trouble too. She turned to see things die down thankfully.

Joey meanwhile was focused on Captain. He was relieved that things seemed to die down. He was extremely impressed with Dar's courage. The man had quite a lot of nerve, and Joey was glad with that. It showed loyalty to the highest degree and the horse had deep respect for that. He was glad another horse was here. In only a language Captain could understand, he replied softly "I'm Joey. I'm glad there's horses here. It was rather lonely for me"

Tao watched his best friend and sighed. He then looked around and back at him, as he sighed once more. Tao listened to him once more rather shocked and confused by what he heard. He wasn't sure what to think, even if he did trust him a great deal. Tao just had no idea that anything like that was remotely possible. However, after everything that he went through and witnessed, he wasn't sure one way or another what to think or believe.

"We were pulled to another world but the future for us? Is that what you are saying? How is it even possible? How did we get here in the first place? Dark place for animals? That is bad. Just for animals or some others too? And really? That's sucks. Poor animals! Some are extint and others are in danger and are in cages to stay protected? Very much different than our world then huh? On top of that there is a war here too? This is bad. We are stuck right in the middle of it! I hooe we will stay alive. I also hope that we won't get attacked,"

Tao watched him closely as he spoke again and sighed to that. He then listened to him once more, as he watched him closely. Tao tried to understand and follow it all. It was far from what he ever expected to hear. In fact, Tao used to think it wan't possible but now he wasn't sure one way or another. Especially since every passing minute he was more and more convinced by the situation. Tao didn't think or believe that his best friend, Dar was a liar but it was all way too confusing. For him at least. The longer passed the more confused he became.

"What? A live? Kyra? Are you sure it's not your grief talking? I mean she died protecting you. Are you sure that you have seen her? You don't think you might have imagined her because you miss her? It could be the situation, you do know that, right? How much are you sure that it is her? That is is your Kyra? I hope it is her but she died in our world, so it is rather strange and hard to believe, Dar. No offense! Even if I hope it is really her, as I missed and miss her too. And what? Are you sure? How is it possible? What do you think causes all of that? You can't? If that is the case, aren't you worried? Ot even curious as to how? What if someone dies here and that is how others who arrived here and used to be dead, are now alive? What do we do then?"

"I understand you. I do! But think about it. What if certain people who were alive in their world come here dead and that is how the dead get revived here? Have you ever thought of that or even wondered about it? If not, then you should definitely think anout it. You know? Don't you think? If it is really her it is good and glad that me being here is a bonus,"

When the next thing happened, Tao froze not sure how to react. He had no idea what to say or do next. Tao like Kyra knew that Dar cared for them, him especially, but he never expected to hear his best friend Dar say what he said that moment. Granted, his best friend did protect thrm before and even saved them but it was never the same as it was that moment. Tao was grateful that he cared for him but he didn't want him to die for him or the others, that was for sure. He knew that the others didn't want him to die for them either. Dar was needed and Tao like the others knew that rather well. He appericiated it, like he knew the others would too but he refused to allow that to happen no matter what, as like them he had no idea what to do if Dar died. Tao refused to think about that, no matter what, as that wasn't an option, no matter what. At least not to him, and he was sure that for others it wasn't an option either.

Tao like the others knew that the world needed Dar but it didn't need them. Even so, for Tao the world just didn't need him but Dar was needed. Even if at the moment they both worked for a bad guy or guys but he was sure, without a doubt that if that was the case than they would eventually, sooner or later join the good guys and help. For that, Dar had to stay alive, no matter what. Tao didn't care about dying, as long as Dar stayed a live, especially if he would be back alive one day, as soon as they get back home. However, at the moment, if someone had to die, then he was rather to be the one who dies and not his best friend. As that was the right thing to do, or so Tao thought as well as believed. He was rather like Kyra and the others, not to die, if he could help it, but if it was the only way to help them out and give Dar away home then he woud do that. Tao would secrifice himself even if he feared death, because he knew it was the right thing to do, but he hoped that it won't come to that. He was rather go stay alive for a long time and die when it was really his time, and not a day or a minute or so sooner than that. However, of it came to secrificing himself so that the rest of them would go home, then he would do that with no quedtions asked and way before Dar did that himself.

"Dar?! What in the world are you doing? It is rather noble but I can't let you do that. None of us can! It means a lot, it really does but none of us can let you do that. If someone should die then it should be me, not you! As you are needed here more. I rather leave but if one of us has to die, it should be me, not you Dar! I won't let you die for me. I love you as a brother and a family I have never had and I will never let you secrifice yourself for me! Forget it. I care for you and people's life for that! I just hope that it would never come to that. I respect you for that, as do the others, I am sure but I definitely can't let you do that. I am sorry but I refuse to let you die for me or any of us, Dar! I would rather die before you or anyone else I care for dies. This isn't open for discussion, no matter what! It is the right thing to do and it always will be that way. Even if I do wish to stay alive and help you when needed and with anything that is needed, but I will never ever let you die for me! Do you understand me, dar? You will never die for any of us. I am glad to see you and I am grateful you care but you will not die for me, no matter what, not now nor ever as I can't let you do that, no matter what,"

"Everyone needs you but not me. I am not a child and even if I still was, I won't let you die for me, Dar! You saved my life and now if I must then I will save your life. I would rather not to die but if I must die so that you will live, then I shall do that, no questions asked, as that is the right thing to do! I know you don't want to hear that, Dar but it's the truth and it always will be. You are needed more than me, keep that in mind,"

Tao was loyal and protective like Dar, and it was rather strong in him as in Dar. He didn't want his best friend to die for him. Tao appericiated that but he refused to accept it, which was evident by what he said. None of them might have wanted to die but if it came to that then he was rather die so that his best friend, Dar won't have to do that. Tao cared way too much and besides, after finding out that Dar was a beastmaster and his job was to protect animals and people, he realized that he was meant to help him and that meant die when needed so that Dar won't have to. Even so, here he might have been a slave and such but Tao still cared and planned to secrifice himself for him, no matter what, as that was just the way he was and who he was and it won't ever change, no matter what. As far as he was concerned, it was the right thing to do. Besides, whether Dar realized it or not he was still importany and Tao knew that and had no doubt about it, no matter what as he truly believed in his best friend, especially now, as he could never lose hope in him, no matter what. It wasn't like him and never will. The day he lost faith in Dar would be the day he would die inside and the day he would rather die because it would mean he lost hope in humanity and he couldn't do that. It wasn't him and it would never be, Tao was sure of that or at least, he hoped that it would be the case.

He watched what Dar did and sighed. Tao tried to get in front of his best friend, even if it wasn't that easy due to how stubborn his best friend was. He didn't want to die but he didn't want Dar to die for him either. Tao refused to let his best friend to secrifice his life for him, no matter what. He admired him and felt blessed to have him as a friend but he couldn't let him do that, as he would hate himself if he ever let him do that for him. It was noble but as far as Tao was concerned it was also very wrong, no matter what. The world still needed Dar, he was sure of it but the world would be fine without him. Tao was positive about that. Dar was the one the world counted the most not him, he knew that much or so he thought, at least. Which was exactly why Tao refused to let him die, under any circumstences.

He listened to his best friend and sighed to that, as he shook his head to that. Tao looked down and back at his best friend. He was worried that either only Dar would die or they both would and neither of those two options sounded good to him. Not in a long shot. Tao didn't wish to die just as much as he didn't wish Dar to die but he agreed to die if it meant that his best friend survived. He was proud of himself for deciding that, as it was the right thing to do and it was a rather mature, as well as noble and right choice or so he thought, at least.

Tao picked from behind Dar as he looked at them all, especially Dark Nella and sighed to that. He looked down and back at them and sighed to that once more. Tao didn't care that he would die if it meant that his best friend, Dar survived and found away back home to before they showed up here. He didn't want to go back to a world without Kyra but he hoped it would be before her death and they would find away to save her. However, Tao would accept anything he needed to accept or so he told himself at least.

He listened to what Dar said next as he nodded to that in agreement, as he knew him well to know that it was the truth. That definitely described Dar rather well, to say the least or so Tao thought as well as believed. As far as he was concerned that was true. That was definitely a good way to describe Dar, Tao knew that rather well, especially since he witnssed that himself, more than once or twice. It was one of the reasons he admired him so much, among other reasons that is.

"That is true. That's Dar for you! And he will never change, no matter what. It is why a lot of people admire him and care for him so much! He is a good guy and it is why he has as many friends as he does in the first place. Anyone on his side is under his protection! Which is why I can't let Dar get hurt or killed for me. Don't punish him or kill him but me! I don't want to die and will help you, if needed but please don't hurt him nor Kyra but me,"

Tao watched Dar as he agreed to join and became Vyce's slave and sighed to that. When his best friemd hugged him again he hugged him back. Tao was glad to see him again and be on his side, and he was glad that they both were alive and hoped that it would never change. He closed his eyes for a bit and then opened them and sighed to that. Tao then hugged his best friend once more for a bit longer than before and after that, he let go as he looked at them all and sighed to that.

He listened to his best friend once more and sighed to that. Tao was glad that they both were alright and that they both would be alright or at least he hoprd so, anyway. He watched his best friend closely and then he looked around and back at him, and sighed. Tao hoped that no one would end up changing their minds about lettinh them live or that won't be good. He tried his best not to think of that.

"Thanks Dar, me too. However, I hope it will stay that way! I am glad you are ok too and I hope that stays too. Well, at least she is here with you too but I hope she would stay alright and won't pay for whst you just did! Even if it was noble thing to do. I know. I remember but it wasn't your fault, don't forget that! And don't worry being a medic is all I plan to be. I am not like you, I can't fight! All I can be is a medic and we both know that,"

Tao looked at Dark Nella again and sighed, as he listened to her again and sighed. He sighed hard when he heard what she said before as he was scared that he would die but slowly he began to accept it. Tao calmwd when he realized that none of them was going to die.

He watched and listened everything else that happen. Tao hoped that they would all be alright. He hoped that no one would be hurt, punished or killed as he cared for people and refused for them to go through that. Tao couldn't breath until he realied that everything would be alright. He was scared but he became less scared as soon as he realized that they weren't going to die ot anything like that. That was a relief or so Tao thought and believed, at least.

He listened to what she said and sighed. She was right and Tao knew that, joining other armies won't be an option for him because Dar and Kyra weren't there and it meant that he would never see them. Which was something he refused to accept. Tao just hoped that the good guys will save them and help them get away. However, he had no idea when would that happen if at all. Tao hoped that it would but somehow he doubted that it would ever happen at all. He simply sighed to that.

"If you don't want to kill me or Dar, then just don't. Yeah, they can do it and probably will! However, you seem good at what you do and smart, so I am sure you will be able to find spies. If and when they are send! And it is possible but as you said, it's not an option for me because then I will never see Kyra and Dar. Why would I do that if I will never ever see them again? What would be the point of it? There won't be a point for that and there is no point for that even now. Doing that won't be any different than killing myself! And why would I do that for? That would be dumb, won't you say? Changing sides with them would be better if anything and we all know that it won't ever happen. My loyalties are to them and to you because of that and because it is the right thing to do,"

He watched her and listened to her, as he sighed to that lost in thought. Tao lookes down and then he looked at them all and sighed to that.

"Most likely he will. As you trust him for a reason after all! Right? I am sure if you couldn't trust him then he would have been dead by now. Wouldn't he? So I am sure you can trust him now too. Don't you? He no doubt knows what he is doing or he won't be that trusted by you. Would he? Besides, he is allowed to have slaves because he knows how to handle them, right? Or other wise why would he be allowed to be part of the team and free. Isn't it how it works? You seem like someone who could kill someone who betrays that side, and someone who can tell who betrays this side and who doesn't. So why being surprised if you are surprised that is? If anything it is me and Dar who need to worry, not you and ww won't betray. So yeah! And he will handle us as we are his slaves. That is our lives anyway,"

Tao watched the horses and sighed. He was confused that horses could talk. However, Tao figured that either it was because in the future horses could talk or thet were from a different reality too. However, since they looked cartoonish he figured that they were from a different reality/world too.

He was worried for Dar even more as Vyce spoke to his best friend. Tao sighed as the last thing he wanted was to put Dar in danger. It looked like Dar was already in danger and he hated that. Tao blamed himself for it. Even if it wasn't his fault. Tao couldn't help it, as to him it felt like it was his fault and no one else's. He was glad that Dar wasn't in anymore danger. Or in danger period but Tao was still worried for his best friend. It was good that Vyce, as well as Dark Nella letbit slide but he feared that it might not last long. Even if Tao hoped that he was wrong about it but he doubted that.

He accepted the offer because it was his only way to survive and he knew that rather well. Tao begged to be safe and such because he truly wanted to stay safe, no matter what as he feared dying or anything like that. He was confused when Vyce petted his shoulder as he looked at his hand and then he looked back at him as he sighed to that. Tao then listened to him once more.

"Alright. Good to know! I am glad to know that I won't be harmed. Especially due to the choice I just made! That means a lot to me! I am glad to know that I masw the right choice after all. I was worried that I might have not made the right choice but the plus is that I did in fact made the right choice,"

Tao was worried about making a choice. Just as he was worried about making the wrong choice. Tao wondererd if he made a good choice or not. As he hoped that he did make the right choice, no matter what. Also, Tao knew that no other choice will keep him a live but that one. Which was why he choose that and nothing else. Tao listened what someone else said after he made a choice and sighed aa he looked over. He watched as the person walked over to him and sighed to that as he shook the guy's hand gently and continued to watch him closely.

"Nice to meet you, Patrick Wallen. I am Tao and thanks for the welcome! It is tbe only real option we all got to survive anyway. Don't we? How long are you part of this group? Of this team? At least you are a fightr or a medic or a scientice of the group/ team and not a slave like me or Dar or like Kyra for that matter of fact. Aren't you? I just hope that my choice won't get me killed just for thrle simple fact that I exist and nothing more,"

Tao looked over at Penin and sighed as he listened to her. He looked down and back at her, as he felt bad for the fact that she almost suffered. As Tao felt like it was his fault and not hers. His situation got her curiousity picked and she was almost killed. The fact that Penini was a pink rabbit was interesting as he never saw anything like that. Nor cartoonish characters like her but for the time being he was glad that she was still alive and not hurt at all. Tao listened to her and had to admit her suggestion was pretty good, as he was hungry after all. However, he said nothing about that for a bit, as he wanted no trouble after all. Tao hoped that him being hungry and thirsty won't get anyone killed. As he had no idea one way or another and that was the issue. Or so Tao believed and thought as that scared him a great deal.

"I am hungry and thirsty. So it is a good idea but if that is a bad idea and will get us all in trouble for even consider it, then forget it was mentioned or suggested at all! It is fine really. I would rather no one would get in trouble for me! I deserve to starve and such, for arriving and bring trouble. Even if I didn't plan on it at all! I am sorry. Punish me with hunger and all that but not them. Especially not Dar and Patric not the pink rabbit! I will force myself to work through that. I most likely deserve it anyway! That is the right way to keep me safe and such. Right? Do that,"

Tao watched the horses once more and sighed to that. He closed his eyes as he had a bad feeling that he would get himself killed, even if all seemed to be fine at that moment. Tao kept his eyes closed not to see himself get killed or anything like that. He feared death and such but he couldn't let others die for him or anything like that. Tao opened his eyes a few minutes later as he felt nothing and he felt like he was fine. When he saw that he was still alive he sighed rather relieved by that. Tao was surprised bur grateful to be alive. However, he was still willing to give up on food and drink, just not to get himself or others in danger because of himself and it. It didn't seem worth it to Tao. Given that it would get him killed before he ate or drank so what was the point? There was no point which was why he did his best to pretened that he wasn't hungry nor thirsty. As Tao believed that it would do some good for them all. Which was good enough or so he thought. Tao tried to think of other things than that as he waited to see what would happen next.
