Personality: He is sweet and kind young man. Nick is also very loyal and faithful. The fact that he got Adalind pregnant and not his girlfriend wasn't his fault as he was fooled to think that Adalind was his girlfriend Juliette even so, she wasn't her. Nick is very naive young man too, especially for a grimm. He is also, very stubborn/headstrong young man. Nick would do anything he can for those he cares for. He is protective of those he cares for, including innocent people he had never met before. Nick always was a good guy and becoming a grimm didn't change that about him at all, and it is doubtful that it ever will. 

He is a good guy all in all. Nick is a great boyfriend and a father too. Even so, the idea of being a dad scares him a great deal. He is a smart guy and a very good cop, even so, he is still not used to his life as a grimm even if he is a grimm for a while. As Nick knows by now that things won't ever get easier or so he believes. He is tough and a fighter and doesn't give up easily or at all. Nick used to sceptical about supernatural and such, but over time he began to believe in it. He used to think that what he saw was in his mind but over time he realized it wasn't and now he is used to that.   Nick is so used to it that it's hard for him to remember the time before he found out that he was a grimm and before he could see things he didn't use to see before, as being a grimm is all he knows nowadays. 


History: Nick Burkhardt was born Nicholas Burkhardt, but goes by Nick Burkhardt. He is the son of Kelly Burkhardt and Reed Burkhardt, in New York. Unknown to him at the time his aunt Marie Kessler, his mom's sister and his mom were grimm's,  just like their family before them. He wasn't the only he had no idea, as his dad had no idea as well. Nick had an alright life with his parents until he was 12 when his dad died with 'his mom',  in a premeditated car accident. The idea was to kill his mom because she guarded dangerous coins, coins of Zakynthos.Unlike what anyone thought, Kelly did survive it, but her friend died in her place, with her husband, Nick's dad. 

To protect her son, she left him with her sister Marie, as she was the only one she could trust at the time. Marie dated a guy named Farley Kolt when her sister left Nick in her care. Nick's aunt broke up with her guy and then moved herself and Nick, to Portland, Oregon to raise him there where it was much safer. She raised him rather well, as he was a good student, as he even went to the Police Academy, from which he graduated with hours. Marie never told Nick that his mom disappeared because her sister asked her not to, and she promised to do just that.

Growing up, his aunt never told him about him being a grimm, nor what it meant for him, as she wanted him to have a normal life, as much as possible. As a cop, Nick became partners with Hank Griffin, who was and is older than him. He mentored him, and they worked together on cases and reported to their Captain Sean Renard. They worked along side Sargent Wu, who joined them not long after. Nick became a detective faster than some people.

On one of his cases he met and fell in love with a vet, named Juliette Silverton. Nick eventually asked her to move in together, as they did as soon as she agreed. They lived together for a while. By then his aunt left him but sometime after he got with Juliette she came back. His aunt Marie warned Nick, as soon as she could to break up from Juliette, as she told him it was dangerous, and he put his girlfriend in danger, as she eventually told him everything. He didn't believe her until he witnessed himself as his gifts got activated. It was when he met Adalind and Munro, as he became friends with Munro, but even so, he refused to break up with his girlfriend. Even after the death of his aunt.

Some time later, while working a case with the help of his friend, a wesen named Munro and his partner, Hank, and Wu[two whom he kept in the dark], he met a wesen Rosalee and befriended her, as she got with Munro. Nick found out that his captain knew it all and even protected him, even so, his captain was a wesen. His legacy was to kill wesens, but he ended making friends with some wesens. Nick found out that the one that fix's  freezers and such was a wesen who feared him like most wesens but the two became friends, and that Wesen's name was Bud. He dealt with many cases involved Wesens as. Eventually, he told his partner, who had no idea how to react a first but then accepted it and helped.

When Adalind got pregnant the first time, Nick's mom protected her with a guy named Mizner, the captain's friend. After Adalind had given birth, she met with them so and helped as she brought them to her son and his girlfriend, by that time he knew his mom was alive but on the run. No one liked that, but they helped just the same because royalty of wesens wanted the child, who's name was Diana, who turned to be the captain's daughter and half royalty because the captain was partly royalty. Diana liked Nick and his mom.  Eventually, Nick's mom left with the child to protect her as they tricked the royalty. 

Adalind who was a wesen used a spell to became Juliette to sleep with Nick, to get him to lose his grimm abilities. Not long after Nick and his group met Trubel, another grimm who had no idea until they told her and she became part of their team and a friend, as she stayed with Nick and Juliette.  The incident of Adalind being Juliette temporary was due to the royal family, and right before Rosalee's and Munro's wedding. As after wards, they got to the wedding, but on the way, they realized that it wasn't Juliette he slept with, which slightly strained their relationship. Even so, by then Juliette knew the truth and went through a lot because of his life, but their love was strong. However, they stayed together, even so, they argued about what had happened.

In the wedding, they realized what had happened, which made Trubel as his eyes to the supernatural. After meeting Renard's mom, they find out how to fix it as Juliette became Adalind and slept with Nick, which helped made him a grimm again but also changed her to be a hexenbiest, just like Adalind. Also, it took time for him to find out. It all happened after they dealt with Zombies when Nick became one too but most those that turned either died or were cured. Also, Nick's Zombie super hearing stayed, as well as super strength to some degree. Nick found out that Adalind was pregnant as soon as she did but even Juliette found out, which she was pissed. Nick ended up protecting Adalind because of their child growing in her. He found out about Juliette as eventually, things were over between them.

Adalind proved that she was good as she found a way to depress the wesen side but when they tried to give the cure to Juliette she refused and almost killed Munro and others, who knew about Juliette's situation. However, due to how powerful she was, it was hard to do. Juliette ended up helping the royal family and even helped get Nick's mom killed, as her head was left for Nick to find, even so, the kidnapping of Diana who was older didn't work, as the resistance saved her and hid her. Then they found out about an evil group of wesen called the black claw, after they dealt with other dangers including those against both types of wesen being together. Adalind gave birth to her and Nick's son but got saved.

When it came to killing Juliette, Nick couldn't do it, but Trubel who worked with the resistance came back and shot Juliette. Nick thought she killed her as Juliette almost killed him, but she was only knocked out and taken away with Trubel, as Nick was knocked out, and when he came to, they were gone. Sometime later Nick found out that Juliette was alive, as she saved him, Munro and Hank from a wesen that was strong but she was stronger, given that she is and was stronger wesen than most. At first, no one believed him, until the truth was revealed as they too worked with the rebellion. However, it turned out that Juliette by that point went by the name Eve, as she wore wigs on missions. Nick and Adalind began to get close, as they named their son Kelly, after his mom. Nick and Adalind with their son moved in together in a different place, as the other house had too many bad memories and all that.

Some time later after Wu found out the truth and became somewhat of a wesen, the guys went to the wounds of Germany and found a box that had a healing stick protected in the past by monks.  Renard became an enemy after Diana was found.  Nick eventually healed Juliette/Eve as Juliette became herself mixed with Eve, and Nick got connected to the stick who after the death of Mizner and the main black claw leader got killed got framed and wanted, was saved by the stick with which he never parted from after it healed him and Munro. Nick lost Adalind with his son, but then a while later got her back, with his job, as Hank and Munro got their jobs back too after losing them. Diana was allowed to stay with her dad, by that time they all found out that Rosalee is pregnant and with more than one child. Few days after Adalind moved back with Nick, he disappeared and appeared where he had never been too before.

Plans: reunite him with his friends and family, him realizing that maybe he and Juliette still got a chance. Nick going through withdrawal from the healing creepy stick.
