New and concerned[open]

(ooc: May 5th. Afternoon.)

Ryan walked around not long after he arrived, as he was lost in thoughts. He didn't get how he got there or why, but he definitely didn't like it.
Ryan didn't like that especially since it meant that things would go south in his world real fast and he won't be able to stop it. He sighed as he tried not to think about it as he walked around, even if it was a hard thing to do. Ryan tried to figure out how he got there and why. He never even knew that something like that was even possible until it happened. Now that it had happened Ryan had no idea what to do or what to think, as he sighed to that, and stopped for a second and then continued to walk, as well as explore the place.

[Dylan Rhodes/Shrike]

Milo, Shrike and Vinny all came out. Vinny and Milo kept switching houses to help with things, while Shrike stayed perfectly still at the nostalgia residence. All were getting used to being here, especially Vinny and Milo. Shrike was more concerned about his friends and getting home. The three all noticed a man walking around, exploring as it were.

Shrike was the first to come over and replied "Haven't seen you around here. Guess you're lost?"

Milo and Vinny both looked to each other before allowing Shrike to speak for them. Vinny proceeded to smoke a cigarette, giving Ryan a approving look. Milo waved kindly and smiled, trying his best to seem as friendly as he possibly could.

[Harry Kim]

Harry walked out. He was still adjusting to this time period but was glad to help out this army when he could. He trained a lot to make sure he was ready. He was currently dressed in a gray tanktop and blue shorts. He was barefoot as he no longer had to wear about regulations for clothes while here and he was always more comfortable in just regular clothes. He spotted the arrival and a small group had already seemed to be talking to him.

"Hello. I'm Harry. Welcome." said Harry.

Elisa walked out next spotting the new guy and a few others. She waved and walked over.

"Welcome. I'm Elisa. You here to join?" asked Elisa.

Daphne walked out next hearing voices and smiled.

"Hey. You must be new recruit. Welcome. I'm Daphne." said Daphne.

Ryan looked over and sighed as he watched three guys walk not too far from him. He listened to one of them and nodded to that. "Yes, I am lost and new here. I was elsewhere, and now I am here, wherever here is that is," Ryan said and sighed to that. "Where am I?" He asked a minute later and sighed once more. Ryan also known as xiii relly wanted to know that as he was rather confused by that, very confused to say the least as it had never happened to him before.  

He looked over at the other two and nodded to them. Ryan then waved back at Milo, as he watched when others came over and nodded over to them and sighed once more, as he still tried to figure out where he was and how he got there, not to mention he tried to figure out why was he there for in the first place, and who possibly brought him. It all was rather confusing and shocking him, to say the least.


Ryan listened to another guy, as he spoke to him and nodded to that. "Hello, I am Ryan, nice to meet you, Harry! Where am I and how did I get here? And why am I here for?" he said as he wondered if the guy by the name of Harry knew the answers to his questions or not, as he hoped that he did even if he had no idea for sure. Ryan hoped that he did or that at least someone did or he doubted that he would ever get the answers he needed.

He looked over to the young woman or someone who looked as a young woman, as he listened to her and after that, he simply nodded to her. "Hello, Elisa, nice to meet you. I am Ryan, and by the looks of it, yes I am! If you are the good guys, then I will join, until we find a way to get me back home, as soon as it happens, if ever," Ryan said to her. He looked around then at them all, as he looked at one at a time.

Ryan looked over at Daphne, as he was surprised that he looked cartoonish and sighed to that. He listened to her. "Well, as long as you are the good guys then yes. Thanks for the welcome! Nice to meet you, Daphne, I am Ryan." Ryan said and sighed again. He then looked down for a bit, and after that, he looked back at him. "Where am I, though? And how did I get here? And why do look different than most?" 





 

[Dylan Rhodes/Shrike]

While Milo and Vinny backed off for the moment, Dylan awaited his turn to speak while Ryan got himself acquainted with the other members. Once Ryan finished speaking to them, Dylan replied "I'm Dylan Shrike. Nice to meet you. And as for where you are, it's a bit of a long story" He sighed softly trying his best to explain calmly. He replied with a soft smile "Well you're in chicago. And you're in a different world's version of said chicago. You see me, you, and quite a few others, have been forced here by scientific methods by some guy named Insano. Who works for some guy named Ask Thatguy. He wants to take this world down and take it over" He then replied "We're looking for recruits, which is why Elisa here asked if you joined"

[Harry Kim]

Harry smiled at him.

"You're in Chicago in the United States." said Harry.

He nodded as Dylan explained.

"He's right. Because of a mad scientist, a war has started pulling people from other universes and times. My universe is in the future and I'm aboard a starship. My crew is probably wondering what's happening to me." said Harry.

Elisa smiled at him.

"We can help you adjust whether you're just from another universe or from another time as well like Harry. You don't even have to fight if you don't want to. We don't force people to fight for us." said Elisa.

Daphne smiled at him.

"I recently came here with a couple of my friends. It sounds unbelievable but there's plenty of proof. And I've seen some of the creeps in the other armies in videos they have. Some of them I wish I hadn't." said Daphne, shivering a little feeling like she had goosebumps on her arms.

Ryan looked at them all and sighed. He then listened to Dylan once more, after he finished talking and sighed to that. Ryan watched the guy confused, as he didn't expect that kind of reply. He had no idea what to think or believe. Ryan looked around lost in thoughts as he let the information sink in. It was way more information than he expected to get. Ryan had no idea how to react to all of that information. He thought his life back home in his Universe/reality was bad enough. Messed up but now Ryan wasn't sure anymore, one way or another. He was very shock and confused by that information. It was something Ryan never thought could happen, nor would but now he wasn't sure anymore. He didn't want to believe but the longer passed the more sure he was that it was all true, therefore real. Ryan hated that but there was nothing he could do about that. That much he was sure about. Ryan just wished that he wasn't alone there from his world/reality but he tried to avoid thinking about that, as it didn't do him any good nor did it help him at all.

"Nice to meet you Dylan strike! It sounds like it is a very long story. How is it even possible so? How did he manage to make that device? Who helped him and why would anyone help someone like him make the damn device? Chicago? Different version of it?Insano? As in insane? As Insano means insane, the last I checked. Why would he be called that even? His parents hate him too, don't they? This is all very messed up, no offence. Not you, of course but the situation and the guy however, definitely is, no questions asked,"

Ryan said and sighed to that. He looked around and back at him. "Well, that won't happen. As they won't win! They can't win but we can win,"  Ryan said as he refused to let evil win, no matter what. "I see. Well, I will join and I have joined. We are on the same side as you said and so it seems! So yes, I agree to join your side. Besides, it is the right thing to do anyway, is it not?"

Ryan looked over at Harry and watched him, as he listened to him, as he sighed to that, lost in thoughts. The whole thing was way too confusing, but if they were the good guys, then he would join them. The longer that had passed the more Ryan was sure that it was all real, as he wanted to join them and help them. Especially, if it could help him get back home, which was exactly what he wanted. Given the fact that Ryan wanted back home and needed it. Not to mention, the longer that passed the more sure he was that it wasn't home nor anywhere close. Even if Ryan had no idea how was it even possible but he knew rather well that it was possible, since it was the case after all. He knew that things didn't usually work the way they were planned but  he never knew that what happened to him was even possible. However, Ryan knew that no matter what he thought or believed, it had happened and now he wanted to find away back. One way or another.

"Chicago US? It is interesting that out of all places I could have ended up at, it had to be Chicago. That is very interesting and confusin! As for being in a differeny world. Well, the longer passes the more convinved I am of that! But I can tell you for a fact that it had never happened to me before, until now,"

Ryan listened to what Harry said next and sighed to that. He looked around and back at him. Ryan let him finish before he spoke to him again. He wasn't sure what to think or what to believe but he had no doubt that neither of them was lying to him about it, but it still didn't help. Ryan still was rather confused and surprised by it, to say the least. He looked around and back at him again, as he sighed to that lost in thoughts.

"He is? I figured that much. But I am still very much confused about it! I had no idea thar anything like that was possible, until right now, that is. So, as soon as he created that device the war has started? Is that what you are saying?  I see, so some were brought from different worlds but same year, right? Other from different world and different year, right? Some are from the past and others are from the future, right? This is crazy and messed up. Do they or he knows that his device would do that or he just doesn't care? I am guessing he just  doesn't care. Am I right? I see. Really? You are from the future? How does it feels to be from the future? How is it like to live in the future? A starship? A space ship? Really? How is it like to live on a space ship? Do you like that or hate that? They probaby do. Not many are close to me, so not all of them wondering how am I doing! I don't think I matter to a lot's of people. Unlike you! So trust me when I say this. You are more important to people then me! Which says more than you will ever know. One woman or so helps me, but I have no idea whether she is on my side or not! I wish I could know for sure. However, I have no doubt that your crew and friend wonder what's happening to you and where are you! Unless it's just the soul that is here and solid that way, then they only wonder what had happened to you,"

Ryan spoke once more and then listened to Elisa again. He smiled at her back and sighed to that. Ryan was grateful to what she said, as he hoped that it was true but believed that it was. He let her finish before he spoke to her again. Ryan was glad that she and the others agreed to help him to adjust. Even if he hoped nothing of what had happened, would ever happen again.  Ryan was glad that he waan't alone. At least it sounded like he wasn't. Not again that is.  Ryan was worried that if they found out a lot of the information about known about, so far only in his world that they would begin to hate him. Also, he wasn't evil, but he didn't remember much about his past and things were done then that he didn't mean to do but he couldn't take it back, no matter what.

"I am from another world and more or less the same time but I am not entirely sure about that. I do know that some call me a criminal but all I do is protect innocent people! No more nor less. However, it would be very generous of you to help me get used to the new world! As long as you won't use me like some people in my qorld did. Oh that is very kind of you! Don't worry so, I can fight and I don't mind fighting if needed. Back home I used to be a soldier until things took a turn for the worse! I lost my memory but I slowly gain them piece by piece but they don't help me much. If at all! However, I am used to it as what else can I do?! I just hope you won't use me like some did," 

Ryan turned to Daphne and listened to her speak, once he spoke again to her. He was surprised by what he heard her say next. Ryan felt very bad for her. At least she had friends and they were here with her. That wasn't as bad as it could have been. Ryan himself barely had friends if at all. He and Lauren Jones had a pretty complicated relationship, to say the least. Even Ryan himself couldn't follow that at all. He knew that he loved her and was in love with her and could tell that she felt the same way towards him but her loyalties were all over the place. He however wished that her loyalties were only to him, as that would make things so much easier. For the time being so, Ryan tried to think of other things than that, as thinking of that only made him feel that much worse. It made him feel all alone and he definitely hated feeling that way. Ryan sighed.

"Really? Well, I am sorry to hear that all of you were pulled away from home. But I am glad that you guys aren't all alone! Unlike me. I am definitely alone, unfortunately! But I am rather used to it, to be honest with you. It does sound that way but I do believe you! I really do. And really? You have? What kind of creeps are they? Like monsters or aliens or just evil people? Well, that sounds bad. At least you know what we are dealing with, unlike me! Unfortunately, in cases like this you better know what you deal with, than not know and not be able to be ready for anything. So, the more right answer would be that you wish you hadn't been brought here after what you saw. Which makes sense! Since after you saw some of those we deal with you wish you didn't. Because it is that bad! Also, I don't know what we deal with I know that there are certain things you wish weren't real. Then again I doubt that anyone else in that situation would ever feel any differently! You know what I mean?" He said and sighed, as he gently puy his arm on her soulder and gently squeeshed her shoulder to try and make her feel better and safer. Ryan first got close to her and then did that, as he hoped it made her feel better. Even if just a bit. A bit was better than nothing or so Ryan thought as well as believed, anyway.
