Quote: “HAH! Ratings are the only thing!”
Name: Mr. Alan Cameron Monitor
Age: 40's/50's?
Where is this character from? Beetlejuice cartoon
Why did you pick him/her?: I’m getting back into the cartoon and this guy is hilarious. A+++ would recommend this sleazeball. I also might have a thing for TV-heads.

Personality:
Mr. Monitor isn’t a very nice man. Oh sure, he’ll cozy up/grovel to anyone he thinks he wants to be on the good side of, but at the end of the day, he’s kinda a jerk. His motives are fairly simple; he wants to keep his job. That means he needs to keep the ratings of all the shows under his supervision within a satisfactory margin. Because of this, Monitor can be shallow, unempathetic and exploitative. He’s also constantly stressed out and prone to mood swings, which can make working with him unpleasant. He will absolutely help to raise you up if you catch his interest, but he will also absolutely throw you under the bus when ratings go south. Mr. Monitor does have the occasional hint of a softer person beneath all the grouchiness. He’s just a tiny bit less harsh on those who earned his respect. It’s risky business deciding if he’s actually dangerous or if he’s just a lot of fluff… yeah, have fun.
History:
Apparently, Mr. Monitor has been working for the Neitherworld Network for a long time: long enough to gain a decently powerful position. What exactly this position is supposed to be is debatable (I’ve heard him be called at least two things and those were joke titles), but the closest approximation in our world would be a programming director. Mr. Monitor is in charge of the success of the programs under his supervision. He measures this how any network exec would -- by the ratings. In fact, the ghoul’s obsession on ratings is downright unhealthy. Mr. Monitor measures his self-worth by his success at his job. His afterlife is ruled by the ratings and he’ll go to any lengths to get them. Putting others in danger of being killed is a recurring theme with this man. Hey -- Neitherworld viewers love violence. Mr. Monitor will even humiliate himself if it means ratings. He’s a true neutral force of corporate greed.
Once the programming director was ripped from his world, he found that quite suddenly the ratings he measured his life by were gone. Monitor doesn’t care much for the idea of having to involve himself in a war, but went ahead and skulked to Ask ThatGuy’s side because… shelter and food. Guy’s suffering from ratings-withdrawal.
Allies: Ask ThatGuy Army, Lydia?? (secretly respects her in all honesty)
Enemies: The Critic’s Army, Facilier’s Army, Beetlejuice (kinda??)
Plans: Mr. Monitor would definitely attempt to make television programs out of the events going on no matter what anyone tells him.
I want him to take someone(s) under his wing. There is a tiny sliver of a creative person still in there.
Sample Post(First character needed others are entirely up to you): [n/a]
