Where is this character from?: Pinnochio
Why did you pick him/her?: Mostly because it'll be interesting now that Pinnochio is the crown child of ATG and Honest John would definitely not be welcome if seen lol. It'll be interesting to see how honest john befriends people and gets them to protect him and not get killed off. Plus honest john's a interesting character anyway.

Personality: Honest John is anything but honest, he's a conniving, deceitful, manipulative person. He normally gets away with it though mostly because of his immense charm and enthusiasm. He could talk his way out of a prison sentence. He could talk his way out of anything. Because of this power, he likes to talk a lot and is actually quite social. He's a bit of a greedy person, focused on money and how to con people to get said money. Despite his dirty tricks and his tendency to con people, he does have a moral code. Although he will do anything to save his own skin, he does not like to harm children and certainly doesn't like to get anybody killed or sold off into brutal cruelty. Although he has a bad history with children, he does like them underneath his greedy side. He has a soft heart underneath the conman exterior.
History: Honest John has been a conman his whole life, he always tended to do it, mostly to survive in his own way. One day, he with his friend Gideon, saw a great opportunity. He met Pinnochio, the first kid he met as a wooden puppet and saw potential. He befriended pinnochio and quickly gained his trust to want fame and fortune. In reality he was going to sell pinnochio off to Stromboli to make a quick buck. Pinnochio escaped, unknownest to Honest john and John met up with his former boss the coachman. The coachman said that if he wanted more money than he normally got, he could do a favor. He told Honest John of his plan to manipulate impressionable boys to Pleasure Island. Knowing very well of the reputation and dark magic of the place, John at first refused, but after being intimidated by the coachman he went to find some children. He found Pinnochio again and despite his inner thoughts, convinced Pinnochio once again to follow him. He sold Pinnochio off for the second time, unbeknownst to Pinnochio this was the only con he regretted doing. After the scheme, he actually refused the money and left on the spot. John tried to forget the whole thing, resuming his conning. That is until he came here. He met up with Facilier's gang and heard that his reputation was quite low, considering one of the army's leaders adopted Pinnochio. Knowing his past with the boy, he knew he'd be killed if ever found by that army. So he convinced Facilier to keep him.

Enemies: Pinnochio, ATG's Army, Critic's army
Plans: Definitely befriend the facilier children and gain their trust. Make friends in children. Try to make a good name for himself. Definitely reunite with pinnochio and possibly get captured.
