Where is this character from? Spirited Away
Why did you pick him/her?: One of my favorite characters and she shares one of Lilo's voice actors (Daveigh Chase) so thought that'd be fun if she and Lilo met.

Personality: She starts off as an easily scared girl but she does care for her parents. And her new friends she meets in this world. She proves she's a strong girl who doesn't back down from challenges and is protective and helpful to those she cares about. She helps Haku when he's injured and No Face by giving him medicine when he was being driven mad.
History:
Chihro grew up normally for 10 years having friends and just being a normal girl. But then one day her father got a new job and they had to move. Leaving her home and friends behind. Her best friend gave her flowers and a card as a goodbye gift. They get lost when arriving in town and park in a forest. They see their home in the distance but see a tunnel and the parents decide to go exploring. Chihiro is scared and doesn't want to go but ends up following them not wanting to be alone in the forest.
Once they come out of the tunnel they find a village that appears to be abandoned. But it has plenty of food. The parents start eating as the dad says he has plenty of money to pay the people when they return. Chihiro leaves to explore and soon sees spirits arriving. She returns to find her parents turned into pigs. The river floods the path back revealing she's on an island. She starts becoming transparent and goes into hiding. Eventually she meets a boy named Haku who helps give her food to stabilize her so she didn't disappear. She asks Kamaji the boiler man for a job but he doesn't need help.
He sends Chihiro to the bathhouse where she gets a job from Yubaba. Yubaba renames her Sen and puts her to work. While visiting her parents pig pen Haku gives her the flowers and card she dropped earlier revealing her real name Chihiro. She'd forgotten it when Yubaba had renamed her. Sen gains another friend and mentor in Rin. She lets in a silent masked creature named No Face who she think s is a customer. He gives her bath tokens which she uses to help clean a stinky spirit. She also pulls the bike out from the spirit giving him pain. In return for helping him he gives Sen an enchanted dumpling. No Face starts temping people to be alone with him and then he eats them.
Sen finds paper shigami attacking a dragon and recognizes it as Haku. When Haku now injured crashes into Yubaba's pent house Sen heads upstairs to help him. One of the shigami turns into Zeneba the twin sister of Yubaba. She'd cursed Haku for stealing her secrets. Zeneba turns Yubaba's child Boh into a mouse, turns Yubaba's bird into a smaller bird, and turns a few head like creatures into a fake Boh. Haku destroys the paper revealing Zeneba was only projecting herself through magic as she anishes. Chihiro, Boh, the bird and Haku fly out and end up at Kamaji's place. Sen feeds Haku the dumpling hoping it'd help him and destroys a slug that he coughs up. Kamaji later tells her to ask Zeneba to remove her curse. Kamiaji gives her train tickets. Sen leaves with Boh, the bird and gives the rest of the dumpling to No Face.
No Face starts throwing up the people he'd eaten and follows Chihro outside. Once he's back to normal he goes with Chihiro, Boh and the bird on a train. She orders Chihiro's parents to be slaughtered angered at the mess No Face caused and blames it on Sen. Haku having recovered makes a deal to save Sen and her parents. Yubaba agrees after learning Zeneba's deception returning the imposter Boh to his original headlike creatures.
Chihiro and her friends arrive at Zeneba's house who insisted on being called Granny. Zeneba reveals Sen's love for Haku already broke her curse and the slug was how Yubaba controlled Haku. Haku arrives and Sen reveals his real name is Kahaku River. Haku brings the group back to the bathouse. Yubaba tests Chihiro who says her parents aren't among the pigs and passes the test. The bird and Boh return to their original forms. Chihiro says goodbye to Sen and all her new friends as she's won her freedom as well as her parents. Haku takes her back across revealing her parents are human and waiting for her. Chihiro says goodbye to Haku who promises they'll see each other again . Sen returning to her parents. But she forgot the spirit world and her time there as she passes through the tunnell returning to her normal life. She went with her parents and got adjusted to her new life.
But she soon disappeared and ended up in a new world. The magic that had made her forget the spirit world no longer worked here as her memories of Haku, Rin, Yubaba, Zeneba, Boh and everyone else returned. She missed them all as well as her parents. Hearing about a war she joined Critic's army wanting to help somehow.
