Why did you pick him/her?: I love the series and he's one of my favorite characters.

Personality: loyal, friendly, skilled in engineeering and science as he's the ship's operations officer and has the rank of ensign.
History:
He had a relatively normal life on Earth. He had friends and family. He attended Starfleet Acadaemy. Although his roomate James MacAllister studied frequently especially at night causing Harry to sleep with a sleep mask. Something he got used to wearing and kept using even after graduating the academy. He grew close with Lyndsey Ballard who was his friend and secret crush. He changed his schedule so they shared classes and she helped teach him how to ice skate. He was the editor of the school newspaper and after hearing one of the lastest Maquis attacks published it and caused a debate among the students. He was a champion of a game called Parrises Squares for 3 years in a row at the academy. After graduating he got a job on Voyager a few years later.
During their first mission they were battling Maguis shipsbut were pulled into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker along with Magui ships. The process destroyed the ships adn the Maqui members were rescued and brought aboard Voyager. The Caretaker had brought several ships over the years from across the universe hoping to find a compatible species to create children to help care for the Ocampan race he viewed as his "children" as he was dying. But he soon realized with help from Janeway that he wasn't helping them by having them depend on them. Before he could send them back to the Alpha Quadrant he died but asked Janeway to destroy the array so the Kazon didn't get it. Janeway reluctantly did and the Magui crew merged with the Starfleet crew putting on Starfleet uniforms. They gained two Delta Quadrant natives for the crew as well. An Ocampan nurse named Kes who had worked for the Caretaker and a Talaxian cook named Neelix as well.
After two years of serving in the Delta Quadrant fighting various enemies including the Vidians and the Kazons as well as former Maqui Sesska joining the Kazons and betraying Voyager Harry disappeared and ended up in a different Earth. One far into the past from what he was used to. He joined hearing fo the war and hoping to find a way to return to Voyager to help his crew return to his Earth.
