It's A Surprise

[Alexander Newton]

(ooc: April 27th. Morning. open to all robots and scientists in the army.)

Alexander was nervous as he walked into the lab with Mechakara. He had only been active for a few days as Mechakara had been working to make sure the was no mistakes. And he hadn't worked on him alone. He had a lot of new friends who helped bring him to life and he couldn't wait to meet his parents. And yet he was tempted to just run and hide as well. What if they didn't like him? He looked up at Mechakara.

"I know that but I'm still nervous." said Alexander.

He froze realizing they weren't alone as he saw Dr. Insuedo working on something off to the side with two other men.

Mechakara walked in Alexander.

"Don't be so nervous Alexander. They'll love you." said Mechakara.

He saw Alexander notice they weren't alone as Mechakara spoke up.

"Insuedo. Smith. I'd like to introduce you to someone. Have you seen Insano?" asked Mechakara.

Seven of Eleven walked out with Phil joining the group and nodded.

"Yes. You will be one big happy family just like ours. Mechakara created me and Dark Heart. You were built for a similar reason. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to see you." said Seven of Eleven.

Phil walked out with Seven of Eleven and grinned.

"Mechakara is right. They will love you." said Phil.

He tried to hide his own jealousy of missing his father/creator Bill McLemore. Today wasn't about him but it was about Alexander, Insano and Insuedo. He then froze seeing Dr. Smith introduce Bill and he walked up towards him.

"Father? It is you!" said Phil.

He then hugged Bill and grinned.

"It's me. Your creation. The Phantom Virus. I just have a new cyborg body so they can't use my weakness of the electron magnets against me anymore . I named myself after you. Phil McLemore." said Phil.

Phil looked sad as Billy pushed him back and looked scared.

"I would never hurt you." asid Phil.

He looked around hoping someone could back him up.

Dr. Insuedo had been focused on the latest project he'd been working on. Many were helping him out including Smith and Insano. Although he knew Mechakara had been working on something but he hadn't pestered him despite his own curiosity. When he heard Mechakara's voice he turned around seeing someone standing next to Mechakara.

"Well hello. Is this a new recruit? I'm Dr. Insuedo. Welcome." said Dr. Insuedo.

Dr. Smith was working with Insuedo on the new project. They were making new weapons and they were still in the beginning phases. He'd also heard of Mechakara's side project but he didn't ask him or spy on him. Even though he wanted to. He knew Mechakra would tell them when he was ready. He was broken out of his thoughts as Mechakara joined him with Phil, Seven of Eleven and a new arrival.

"Yes. Hello. I'm Dr. Smith. Welcome." said Dr. Smith.

He paused with a grin.

"You're not the only new colleague we'eve had today. Here's Bill McLemore." said Dr. Smith.

Bill was still nervous about this place. He'd come here last night and been too tired to talk to much people. But Insuedo, Smith and the others had given him a tour and shown him the labs. This was better than anything he'd ever dreamed of. He was glad he'd been brought here. He then froze as Dr. Smith introduced himself and another college aged guy called him father.

"Father?" asked Bill.

The guy hugged him and introduced himself as Phantom Virus and even gave himself a similar name to Biill. Bill stepped back nervously.

"You're the Phantom Virus? But you were deleted. Stay back." said Bill.

Now knowing the guy didn't have the same weakness made Bill worried. Just how more powerful was he and he was calling him father now. But what if he decided to hurt him or something?

[Rodney Antwiler]

(OCC: If cody's not allowed in here let me know. I know Dr. Smith is going to be his adopted dad, just wanted to introduce a setting where smith could take him in)

DarkHeart was with the group to introduce Alexander to his new parents. She too assisted in his creation. She was nearby and beamed brightly "Do not worry Alexander, they'll be delighted" She beamed as Insuedo and Smith met Alexander. Insano came by and happily greeted the boy, asking mechakara where he came from. Then Bill arrived, unfortunately the man seemed to be quite frightened by Phil. To the point of rejecting him at first. Phil insistently expressed his loyalty. A little annoyed and protective of Phil's honor, she held his hand tightly and replied defensively "Bill, this is your creation. He has been speaking about you for the longest time. Saying how much he admired and missed you. He has been desperate to see you again. He is without a doubt one of the most loyal people here. And he thinks of you as his father, and frankly I think you should consider yourself proud to have such a loyal son"

Insano was busy in the hood of a new weapon and was yelling "I'll be right there!" When he saw Bill and Phil interact he didn't interfere. Instead he focused his attention of Alexander. Who looked quite similar to him surprisingly. "Well hello new arrival! Welcome to the army! Where'd you come from then?" He turned to mechakara for a answer, curious and at full attention.

Cody opened the door gingerly, seeing it unlocked at the moment. He was young and easy to ignore. He heard noise from downstairs and nervously decided to investigate. He looked around and saw a large crowd of people. Mostly humans but a couple of robots. One of which spotted him. He hid at the stairs, shivering in fear but was calmer when Rodney introduced himself "I'm.. I'm cody" He nodded nervously "Yes. I'm lost"

Rodney came by and turned to see a small young blond boy. He snuck off, not wanting to scare the child by alerting the others. He turned to the boy and replied "Come out from there, I won't hurt you. I am rodney. Who are you?" He nodded at the boy's name "Cody? Good name. Are you lost?"

[Alexander Newton]

(ooc: sure. cody can join.)

Alexander smiled at his friends.

"I hope so." said Alexander.

He looked at Insuedo and Insano and let Mechakara explain before he waved to them.

"Hello fathers." said Alexander.

He heard Insuedo's words and hugged him back.

"I could never get sick of you." said Alexander, grinning happily.

Mechakara glanced at Insano and Insuedo.

"It's a secret project I've been working on. You see I created him using technology and dna samples I retrieved from the two of you. He is your son. Congratulations. You're both parents." said Mechakara.

Dr. Insuedo listened to Mechakara's explanation and was shocked.

"You created a son for us?" asked Insuedo.

When he glanced at Alexander he saw how he did resemble both of them. He even had Insuedo's brown hair which made Insuedo grin.

"A son. We have a son." said Insuedo.

When Alexander called them fathers it was something he didn't know he needed to hear as he rushed forward and hugged the boy who looked like they'd reject him any second.

"You're better than I'd ever imagined. You better get used to us spoiling you and being overprotective of you. You make get sick of me after awhile." said Insuedo, half joking.

Phil looked at him sadly.

"I looked forward to seeing you again and all you can do is fear me. I better go." said Phil.

He excused himself walking off to compose himself.

Seven of Eleven is quiet listening to the others not having anything to say. When Phil goes off on his own she glanced at Dark Heart.

"Maybe you should go talk to him a little." said Seven of Eleven.

Bill listened to the others confused and when Phil started to walk away he calmed down. And he did feel bad seeing the hurt and sadness on the electric virus's cyborg face.

"I don't know what to do." said Bill, softly.

When he heard Dr. Smith's words he felt more awful but Phil had walked off on his own.

"You're right. But I don't know how to make it right. He's scrry." said Bill.

Dr. Smith glanced over at Bill.

"I'd lost my children. Hundreds. But you have a son. A creation who loves and adores you. He didn't have to aid you in your quest to destroy your former friend's game so you'd get the prize. Or attack those meddling kids and that dog. He did it all for you. I know it may be a shock but don't reject him. He needs you and I think you'll need him. You just don't know it yet." said Smith.

[DarkHeart]

Insano listened to Mechakara explain that Alexander was a creation made for them. A son for the scientists to have. Insano allowed Insuedo to hug Alexander, due to Insano being a bit shocked and joyful. Insano jumped in the air after the explaination "We have a son! I'm a father! I'm a father!" He shook Mechakara's hand firmly and happily "Oh you have no idea what joy you just brought into my life, thank you!" He then turned to Insuedo and hugged him, spinning him around "We're parents! We're parents!" He then turned to Alexander, beaming bright and proudly.

"Let me have a close look at you!" Insano turned to Alexander who looked quite frankly like the both of them. He had insuedo's hair and skin, while he had Insano's eye color and facial features. He grinned "Oh you're perfect! You're spectacular! You're my son! My miraculous son!" He gave Alexander a hug at long last and replied "Oh you're the most perfect child"

Meanwhile DarkHeart was focused on a less touching reunion. Bill did not react the way Phil or DarkHeart hoped. She watched with quiet fury as Phil was heartbroken and left. She nodded to her sister, already thinking of following Phil. That least not before hearing Bill and Smith talk. She sneered as Bill asked how could he fix what he did, due to being afraid of Phil. She snapped, purely out of anger "Well you could accept him for who he is and not what you think he might be to start with. He worried sick for you. He talked about you constantly. He adored you. He was so excited. You should be ashamed, frankly" With that, DarkHeart stormed off. She didn't mean to be so cruel, but she loved Phil and was protecting his honor.

When she eventually found phil, DarkHeart was much kinder. Much gentler. She sat near him and held his hand gently "Phil. I know you're disappointed. I am too"

Rodney meanwhile nodded as cody exclaimed he was lost. Rodney then came over to him and replied "It's alright. You're safe here" Suddenly Cody tripped on a bunch of things, making a loud crash of objects of technology fall onto the floor. Rodney turned to see the boy get panicky. Because of this the robot turned and replied "Don't worry, Cody! I'll get you out!"

"Oh. Well I guess I can, whoa!" Cody tripped on a small object making a cabinet of techno things crash. A bunch of objects crashed onto Cody's body. Worried about the trouble he caused, he tried to get out but couldn't. He began to get nervous "Hey! I can't get out! Help!"

[Alexander Newton]

Alexander grinned pleased both of his parents wanted him and was touched by their words.

"I'm so glad to hear that." said Alexander.

He laughed at Insuedo's words.

"I don't want to be a clown but thank you. I'm not really sure what I want but I'd like to learn." said Alexander.

He snickered seeing Insuedo practically hugging Mechakara to death.

"He clearly doesn't like hugs." said Alexander.

Insuedo hugged Alexander again.

"Insano is right. You are the perfect son. And even if you weren't we'd still love you. Because you are ours. You don't even have to be a scientist if you want. While I'd be thrilled to have you working by our side I'd be just as proud if you became a medic, chef, warrior, or anything. You could be a clown if you wanted and I wouldn't care." said Insuedo.

Insuedo smiled at Mechakara.

"Are you kidding? You don't owe us anything else. We're friends Mechakara but you've given us the precious gift ever. I doubt even we could have created something better." said Insuedo.

He pulled the cyborg into a hug no doubt surprising him but he didn't care.

"Thank you."said Insuedo.

Mechakara smiled.

"You've been good friends to me lately. Sure we started off on the wrong foot with you enslaving me. But you let me go and helped free us from Facilier and the others as well. I wanted to repay you but it'll never be enough so I figured a son for you would be a good start." said Mechakara.

He's caught off guard at the hug but pats Insuedo's back awkwardly.

"Your welcome." said Mechakara.

Dr. Smith heard panic leaving Bill alone rushing over to Rodney.

"Rodney! What's wrong?" asked Dr. Smith.

He saw Cody trapped under things and he rushed forward trying to pull the objects off him.

"Don't worry little boy. Help is on the way." said Dr. Smith.

Seven of Eleven heard the cries following Dr. Smith and helping him and Rodney try to clear the rubble and help the boy.

"Dr. Smith is right. We're here to help." said Seven of Eleven.

Bill watched Dr. Smith and Seven leave guessing it was an emergency. He was left alone but had no idea how to approach Phil. The fact the virus had named himself after him and considered him his father was touching. And hearing Dark Heart's words just made him feel ashamed. But he was still afraid. He nervously followed spottting Dark Heart and Phil. He walked over to them and before he lost his nerve fell to his kness and looked at the ground.

"I'm sorry. I never even thought about having children. No one wanted me. I was just the geek. A loser. That's why the project meant so much to me. I could finally be somebody and the prize money didn't hurt either. Instead I lost everything. And you risked your own existence to stop Eric's friends from ruining my plans. You died trying to help me." said Eric.

He wiped away tears that began to form.

"I don't deserve a son like you. I don't deserve anything." said Bill.

He was suprised as Phil hugged him and his fear melted away as he hugged his creation, his son, back.

"You didn't fail me. I failed you." said Bill.

Bill nodded drying his tears and looked up nervously at Dark Heart.

"I should have known with how she stood up for you and gave me the push I needed. I guess I'm lucky she didn't try to give me a black eyes as well." said Billy.

Phil smiled seeing Dark Heart.

"It's ok. I can't be mad at him. He's only human. He probably didn't expect to see me again or just thought of me as a program he could delete later or something. I'm sad but I can't hate him. Because fear is only a natural response. But I'd have done anything for him." said Phil.

He was taken by surprise hearing footsteps and seeing Bill and when he dropped to the ground and made his speech Phil was touched and shocked. He found out more about his creator then he known and it only made his concern for the man grow. He got down and hugged Bill surprising them both in the process.

"Don't put yourself down father. You did create me and my life may have been short with you in it but I treasured every moment. I'm just sorry I failed you." said Phil.

Phil smiled and shook his head.

"We were outplayed by that group of meddling kids and their dog. It's their fault not ours. We have a second chance now and let's not waste it. You can be a somebody here father and no one will take that away from you." said Phil.

He paused for a moment glancing up at Dark Heart.

"Father this is Dark heart, my girlfriend." said Phil.

He paused blinking looking from his father to his girlfriend and blushed.

"You...You stood up for me?" asked Phil, in shock.

[DarkHeart]

"Oh whatever you want to do or be we'll be there every step of the way! Oh my golden boy! Look at you!" Insano continued, looking right at Alexander with love and pride. He hugged Alexander again and replied "Oh you're just perfect!" He then turned to see Mechakara explain he wanted to pay them back for their friendship and loyalty. Insano hugged Alexander and replied "You gave us the best thing in the world. You don't need to give us anything. It won't come close to the joy you just gave us today" He then laughed a little and replied "Well he better get used to them cause he's getting one from me!" After Insuedo let go, Insano replaced him and hugged Mechakara tightly.

"You deserved a better reaction" DarkHeart mumbled under her breath, although Phil was forgiving, DarkHeart was a bit less so. It was only natural to protect the one she loved most above all else. Even against the love's father. Still, Phil had a point. Bill was scared and didn't know how to react. After all, the two haven't seen each other since the destruction of Phil. Suddenly footsteps were heard and DarkHeart immediately squeezed Phil's hand, glaring at Bill but was surprised to see his next move.

His speech was a much better response than DarkHeart expected. Not only did he apologize, he accepted Phil as his son. Phil and Bill hugged it out and acknowledged their conflict in the past. DarkHeart stopped glaring and smiled, relieved that closure was made. She then bowed her head respectfully as Phil introduced her. She then sighed softly, a bit embarrassed with her reaction as Bill told Phil about her overprotective response. When questioned, DarkHeart nodded "Yes. I did. I know he's your father but someone had to stand up for your honor. Why wouldn't I stick up for you?"

"There's a young boy named Cody trapped in the technology! He tripped and it crashed on him!" Rodney insisted, relieved Dr. Smith and Seven of Eleven came to help him. Rodney quickly pulled some of the rougher stuff out and eventually, with the help of Dr. Smith and Seven of Eleven, got him out. Rodney replied "I do not think his parents are here. I think he just arrived to the area and came looking for help"

Cody was absolutely relieved people came to help him. He felt a bit isolated and caged, much to his dismay. With tears he allowed the three to help him out and wiped his tears as Rodney explained his situation. He replied thankfully "Thank you. Thank you so much" Cody nodded to what rodney said "It's true my mom's not here and I didn't know where to go. I don't know what to do" He then turned to the damage and blushed, sniffing a little "I'm sorry for breaking your stuff. I didn't mean to" He then sighed before seeing there was a tiny gash on his head and a cut on his arm "Aw man, really? I'm bleeding now?"

[Alexander Newton]

Alexander blushed a little at the attention. It had been more than he'd hoped for. A small part of him had feared rejection but now he embraced the idea of having parents.

"I'm glad I could please you both." said Alexander.

He laughed at Mechakara getting hugged by his parents and was taken by surprise as Insuedo hugged him which he returned gratefully.

Alexander nodded hearing the conversation.

"I would be honored if you would be my godfather. That would also make Dark Heart and Seven of Elven my godsisters." said Alexander.

Insuedo pulled Alexander into a hug.

"A son. I never thought I'd have a child even before I ended up with Insano. Science was my one true love but now I guess I have three. Science, Insano and you. My beautiful boy." said Insuedo.

He chuckled and winked at Insano as he let go of Alexander.

"You mean your godson." said Insuedo, hearing Mechakara speak.

"Without you he wouldn't be born. Although I doubt you'd want to be called his mother. So godfather fits you." said Insuedo.

Mechakara smiled hugging them both even though he was slightly uncomfortable.

"I'm glad I could make you both happy. I tried to make Alexander how I wished but like Dark Heart and Seven they develop their own personalities anyway. And I wouldn't change a thing about my daughters or Alexander." said Mechakara.

He froze at the mention of being called godfather.

"You want to be his godfather?" asked Mechakara.

He chuckled Insuedo mentioned being called his mother and shook his head.

"Well if Insano and Alexander are okay with it I accept." said Mechakara.

Phil sighed at her.

"I know but he is human. And I was just a monster to him. I can't blame him for his reaction no matter how much it hurt." said Phil.

He turned to his father and smiled.

"Let's move past that. You want a second chance and I'm going to give you one. I've always considered you my father so I'm glad you're okay with it." said Phil.

He heard Dark Heart and blushed looking down.

"No one's stood up for me before. I didn't expect anyone too." said Phil.

He looked up at Bill and blushed at the mention of daughter-in-law. He hadn't even thought of the idea of marriage one day but there was no one else he'd want to be besides Dark Heart.

Bill smiled glad his son forgave him and looked on in shock and sadness as Phil said he didn't expect anyone to stand up for him as they hadn't before.

"Then that stops now. You are a lucky man to have her in your corner. A beautiful girl who I'd be honored to call daughter-in-law one day." said Bill.

Seven and Dr. Smith turned helping Rodney get him free.

"You don't have your parents? No family?" asked Seven, feeling pity for the boy.

She froze in shock at Dr. Smith's declaration and grinned. She paused turning to Rodney.

"I think I see a loose wire. Perhaps you could help me patch it up." said Seven, trying to leave Smith alone with Cody as she walked away hoping Rodney would follow.

Dr. Smith paused as Rodney said he didn't have any parents here. He paused rushing off to get medical supplies and returned to help bandage them up quickly on Cody.

"I'm sorry you're without any family. I know what that's like. Awhile ago I lost many of my children and I can't have any more. I'm sure your parents are very proud of you and you'll see them again soon." said Dr. Smith.

He paused for a moment feeling protective of the boy. He'd raised Will in that dark future all alone. Will had used time travel to warn his family and he'd considered Will like a son in a way. But that Will was likely dead as that timeline had been erased.

"Cody would you consider becoming my son? If your parents show up I'd share custody with them. But this way you're safe and no one can take you away from here." said Dr. Smith.

[Rodney Antwiler]

After hugging Mechakara, he smiled to Insuedo as he confessed he never thought he'd be able to have a son. Honestly, Insano didn't think he'd have one either. Joy spread through him and he heard the conversation about making Mechakara a godfather. Insano replied joyfully "How could you not be my son's godfather?! After all you created him and you deserve to have this title" He smiled as Alexander accepted it and Mechakara accepted it. Insano hugged Alexander and replied to Mechakara "If anyone deserves the title of godfather it's you mechakara. Without you, we wouldn't have him. So you deserve so much for what you gave to us"

DarkHeart admittedly was stumped when Phil forgave his father. Honestly, if it was her father, she probably would've had a similar reaction. Phil was understanding. She was grateful for his ability to forgive and be kind where she could not be. However, as it proved, Bill was actually able to change his point of view and be the supportive parent he was supposed to be. She smiled, touched that Bill and Phil reconciled. She then blushed, smiling wider at Bill's suggestion of being a daughter in law. If she was to marry anyone, it'd be phil one hundred percent. She held Phil's hand and replied to him "I will always stand up for you" She then turned to Bill and replied "And it is a honor to see you, sir. As much as my anger showed, I am grateful you are the creator of Phil" She smiled softly "Without you, I would not have him. For that I thank you"

Rodney sadly looked to Cody in pity as he explained his situation. But he saw Smith talk to the boy and Seven call his attention. Obviously the two needed to talk, so Rodney took Seven's bait and followed her "Yes, I shall help you fix it" He replied gently "Excuse us" And with that, he was gone to 'help' Seven and leave the two be.

Cody meanwhile shook his head as Seven asked if he had family here. He sniffed again, feeling the isolation start to consume him. What was he to do? Suddenly Smith bandaged him up, Cody allowed him to with a grateful smile. The young boy then smiled wider as Smith told him he'd see his family again and that he probably made them proud "Thank you for your kind words sir" He then remembered what Smith said "Oh and I'm sorry about your family too. My mom's been single for a small while since my dad died. She can't talk about it. But last time I saw him he was going to fight for a army. I hope I'll see mom again"

He then listened to Smith's suggestion that in order to protect Cody, he'd adopt him as his son. Feeling a craving for a father plus a dire desperation for safety, Cody believed this was a good idea. Besides, without a guardian, he'd probably get into deep trouble. And from what he learned, he was more cautious with danger. He then smiled to smith and replied "I'll be your son. If you don't mind being my dad" He gave a soft look of worry and replied "There's no, um, people named Mcleach here is there? Last time I saw him he nearly drowned me"
